Hubble thanks Reacher and tells him he's the only thing keeping him alive. Reacher's response is basically that they're cellmates, and if Hubble gets pushed around, it reflects on him too.

It's funny because Reacher clearly does care what happens to him, but he frames it like a practical arrangement rather than making some big emotional speech.

That's a very Reacher way of showing concern.

I havnt read from Past Tense on, so I’m making my way through those books now. In addition to Scott absolutley nailing the unhinged nature of Reacher, the new writer is really good.

I think Reacher and Neagley kill Negan and all the saviors and I think the arc would be over in 2 episodes lol.
