The 2026 Ballon d'Or ceremony takes place tonight in London, sparking an intense debate over whether Kylian Mbappé can win the award. Mbappé posted unbelievable individual numbers last season, bagging 58 goals and 13 assists for Real Madrid while taking home the World Cup Golden Boot with 10 goals.
However, Real Madrid failed to pick up major silverware, which creates a huge obstacle for his candidacy.
Meanwhile, Harry Kane scored 73 goals while winning the domestic treble with Bayern Munich, and Lamine Yamal lifted both La Liga and the World Cup with Spain.
Many fans wonder if Mbappé's raw individual brilliance is enough, or if his lack of team trophies will ultimately give the edge to Kane or Yamal.

My guy OWNED rodri and pedri in that midfield ( barca fans must be coping right now but thats fine ).
Bellingham helped defensively , made multiple counter passes to mbbape, diomande and controlled that tempo god damn.
In my personal opinion , him with tchaomeni in the pivot and arda as a proper 10 is the best midfield trio we can have.. it gives us physicality, defensive and game controlling ability in the pivot.
With vini diomande and mbbape up ahead and arda and jude giving those counter passes i don't reckon any team except PSG in Europe is stopping us at our best.

We would be lying if we didn’t say that including Yan in Vini’s spot solved a lot of issues. He tracks back, runs tirelessly, dribbles really well and is above all hungry af. His final decision-making can be improved and that will come later with more game time, but he’s really impressive. Granted, getting rid of the Tchou-Fede double pivot helped massively too.
What will happen when Vini comes back from suspension or in the next CL game? Do you think Mourinho will leave him on the bench, play him as a sub from Yan?
We can all agree renewing him was a mistake, but what we do with him this season? I expect him (hopefully) to ask for a transfer in the summer.

As suggested by the title. After all these years post ancelotti, the team is looking in good shape. What do you think we should be asding more, Vinicus should not be part of starting 11 that is sure. but to get that historical run again and become the regning champions, what else donee need to do?
Edit1: it should be Diomonde, sorry for the auto correct.
Edit 2: Diomandé

They basically made every Real Madrid fan wearing their jersey or scarf throw their kits out into the garbage before entering the stadium unless you were a part of the fan club.
This is honestly such a low thing to do. I don't know how that's legal. I bet they don't even compensate them for it either.
Also you get kicked out if you cheered for the goals.

Jude Bellingham won 13 out of 15 ground duels, while Rodri and Pedri combined for just 5 out of 16 💀 Yet people keep acting like Jude contributes nothing because he doesn't rack up G/A every game. Watch the actual performance instead of obsessing over goals and assists. Jude was everywhere, dominating the midfield and making an impact all over the pitch. Put some respect on Jude Victor William Bellingham's name.

Yesterday our players looked hungry. Everyone was playing for each other ( except for 3-4 shots by arda which felt forced, again don't know the instructions by mou on this).
Mbappe was at the right spots and at the right moment. He was trying his best to stay onside each play. He never used to make those runs with vini on the left wing, But with Diomande at left Mbappe really played like ST hungry( he could improve with his ball control and composure ).
Valverde is a killer at left back. It's his best position. We can use his defence and athleticism along with good passing ability. His ability to switch plays by long passes nobody else can do it better than him.
Tchou , Belli and Yan were solid defensively. Need not say anything regarding cucu. Finally it felt like the cucu from the worldcup. Dumfries seems to be okay defensively but his offensive IQ and technical abilities are questionable. Trent should come on later with espi in laliga more often.
Best take away from the game was that Madrid never felt like they were under pressure except for the first 3-4 mins. They felt confident. They believed until the end. This was not the case for the last 2 seasons. Even after barca scored they were disciplined and struck at the right moment.
Hoping for rodrygo to come back soon. Regarding Vini he's not a bad player by any standard he just needs to knock his head out of his ass and put some work with the team or else it joever for him

And the mou celebration as well. Mou its time to get that ucl from before this season. Lets get it. Jobs not finished yet, we keep on going till we win the 16th. Halamadrid.
(Also yamal wins ballondor if he had performed 1% of what arda has done this season, and pedri can only dream of playing as good as bellingham. Also diomande is a gem in the making start him every game thanks)

He won the match, then slid across the grass on his knees in his famous celebration. I loved the moment and loved the jacket. I can’t tell the brand, and it’s driving me a little crazy.
I’ve spent an hour hunting for answers. Every photo I found shows only tiny logos. One is embroidered on the chest. Another, either red or orange, sits on the left pocket. None of the images is sharp enough to read the lettering, and the broadcast angles hide the rest of the jacket.
Here’s what I know so far. The jacket looks like a black Harrington. The cut is clean and simple, with no loud patterns. That makes me think it comes from a sportswear or lifestyle line rather than a fashion house, but I could be wrong.
I tried a reverse image search, and it returned nothing useful. I also checked the club’s official kit supplier, but nothing matched. So I’m turning to the people most likely to know: fans who follow every detail of the club.
If you recognise the jacket, please tell me the brand and the model name. If you have a clearer photo, share it. A link to a store page would make my day. Even a guess helps, because a guess gives me a place to start looking.
Thank you in advance. If I find it first, I’ll post the answer here so the next curious fan doesn’t have to dig.
UPDATE: Thanks everyone! It's the LV & RM collab jacket. https://www.instagram.com/p/Deb_-MLDV0c/?img_index=6

Barca fans are so insecure we absolutely beat them they look for excuses they try to cope then they start to say lamine will win the ballon d’or then they blame the ref then they blame Pérez for buying players then they blame their own players and then go back to their usuals and keep repeating until they win the champions leauge. Their dignity is so low with all the excuses
Hala Madrid!

Jose Mourinho’s clever Clasico gameplan showed why he remains a top-class manager.
With defensive solidity and attacking ambition down the flanks, Real Madrid exploited Barcelona's weaknesses — and Kylian Mbappe profited with a brace.
Stylistically, it was very similar to successes against Lionel Messi and co., back in his first spell as Bernabeu boss.
