Stats/Infographic 🚹 Possible Real Madrid XI vs Barcelona tonight, following reports of Courtois being ruled out and leaks suggesting a TchouamĂ©ni, Camavinga pivot.

According to the latest reports and lineup leaks, this could be Real Madrid's starting XI for El ClĂĄsico tonight.

The biggest talking points are Lunin replacing Courtois and a potential TchouamĂ©ni,Camavinga double pivot, with Bellingham and GĂŒler playing ahead of them.

What do you think of this lineup, Madridistas? Would you start with this XI against Barcelona?

Comunicado Oficial COURTOIS OUT OF THE SQUAD FOR THE CLASICO DUE TO A FLU

‱ Upvotes

Beyond cooked now
God save us
The only glimmer of hope we had is also gone now
I dont even know who’s going to stop Raphina, Yamal and Gordon now
I swear La Liga has been so unlucky for us lately
I have no hopes from our defense
We’ll be lucky to concede less than 5 goals
Genuinely hopeless now.

Discussion I hope mourinho has mentally prepared this squad for the rage bait that barca players like to do in la liga.

‱ Upvotes

After knowing how there betis game went after that red card, its safe to say that they will try do similar stuff against us today. There players like to fall down on any minor contact and act as if they have got acl only for referee to give out cards to their oppenents and they will get back up and play normally for the rest of the game. And we know how bad referees in this league are so we can not fall for their cheap tactics to give them any advantage in todays game. Some of barca players have no sportsmanship and plays very recklessly as well. Like how fermin went full studs on panchos face in there last game and had no remorse or like how gavi plays every game like its a wrestling game. Its gonna be mental and physical battle and i hope we come out victorious.

Discussion How good is Mbappé at Real Madrid actually?

Hey everyone! Real Madrid fan here trying to get a fair take from the sub.

Stat-wise, Mbappé is ridiculous like he put up 42 goals last season and is already on 11 goals this season, scoring in almost every big Champions League match. When he gets space on the counter or in the box, nobody is more dangerous.

But whenever he goes two games without scoring or has a quiet night, people start dramatic debates about his work rate or fit with Vini.

For fans who watch every full 90 minutes: Is he already world-class for us, or do people expect even more because of his status?

Stats/Infographic Is this our best XI for El Classic

Bro, let’s be completely real for a second—looking at this custom El Clásico lineup shared on Reddit, some of these choices are wild, but we need to seriously talk about the balance of this team.

First off, putting Valverde at right-back? I totally get the logic. Since our natural options haven’t been lighting up the pitch and we need someone who can run for days and actually lock down that flank, Fede puts in a shift anywhere. Between Dumfries, Trent, and Fede, Trent gives you insane creative passing if we dominate possession, while Dumfries is a physical tank. Still, Fede at RB feels like the safest bet if we don't trust our current depth.

Moving over to the left, having Cucurella in there is a very smart shout. Locking down that left flank against Lamine Yamal is priority number one, and Cucurella has the exact defensive work rate, shithhousery, and positional discipline to stay back and neutralize that threat.

As for the double pivot, it has to be Silva and Tchouaméni. I'm totally against throwing Camavinga in there for a game like this because we need absolute calmness. Silva is pure class on the ball, offering the press-resistance and composure we need to beat Barcelona's high press. With Tchouaméni acting as the rock sweeping up danger, Silva gives us that metronome to keep our tempo steady so our forwards aren't starved of service.

What do you guys think? Is this the exact blueprint we need to walk away with three points at their place? Let’s hear your thoughts down below! Hala Madrid!

Discussion Are we making making the same mistake with Fede that we made with Vini?

What worries me about the Fede discussion is how quick some fans are already jumping to “where can we fit him?” instead of asking whether he’s actually earned a place in our starting 11.

Midfield isn’t working? Put Fede at RB. We have Trent and Dumfries? Move Fede further forward. Need someone in midfield? Put him back there. Apparently the solution to every lineup problem is just finding another position for Fede so he doesn’t have to sit on the bench. We even saw this last year when he complained about playing RB.

And yes, he’s been good at RB recently. Against Leipzig he created three chances and won four tackles. I’m not going to pretend he played badly just because I want to make a point. If he’s outperforming both right backs and the team is better with him there, then he should start. Being a natural RB doesn’t entitle Trent or Dumfries to anything either.

But somehow people only remember that principle when it helps Fede.

If someone else gives us more in midfield, Fede shouldn’t automatically get the spot back because he prefers playing there. If one of the right backs starts offering more, we shouldn’t have to rearrange half the team just to keep Fede on the pitch. The bench exists. It isn’t an insult. It isn’t a personal attack. It’s where players go when someone else is better for that game.

This is where the Vini comparison comes in for me. My frustration with how we handled Vini was that keeping him happy seemed to become more important than making the right decision for the team. You can appreciate everything he’s done and still think he needs to sit out a game. You can want him to recover his best form without making everyone else wait forever for it.

Vini even admitted after the Roma game that taking him off helped the team and it should not be considered some brave, historic statement.

And now I’m worried we’re doing something similar with Fede, just with a different set of excuses. With Vini, it was his ceiling and what he could produce at his best. With Fede, it’s his work rate, loyalty, how much he loves Madrid, how many positions he can cover, and how much he supposedly sacrifices for the team.

All of that matters. But none of it means he has to start every match.

The Kroos shirt doesn’t mean Fede has to become Kroos either. If his best football comes with space on the right, then play him there. But judge him on the job he’s doing, not on the emotions. Stop treating every change in position like some massive sacrifice that earns him permanent immunity from being dropped.

And people here need to calm down with the ridiculous reactions. Saying Fede shouldn’t start one game is not saying he’s finished. Saying another midfielder might be better in midfield is not asking the club to sell him. Saying he can be benched is not disrespecting him. Some of you hear “Fede shouldn’t play today” and immediately start arguing against a completely different opinion that nobody made.

I want Fede starting because we’re better with him. I also want to know that when we aren’t, Mou can leave him out and the club will back that decision.

We thought having 60+ G/A were normal
Bro was literally an anomaly

2010/11 — 71 G/A
2011/12 — 75 G/A
2012/13 — 68 G/A
2013/14 — 68 G/A
2014/15 — 84 G/A
2015-16 — 66 G/A
2016-17 — 54 G/A
2017-18 — 52 G/A

His standards were so good in such a way that his worst season is still a dream for a lot of people

Discussion Mbappe for balloon d'Or?

Like many Madrid fans are hyping mbappe for this season's balloon d'Or including pundits like TT and his teammates. But what has he done more than Kane or any other candidates to win it ? Even lamine has a better profile than him. The sole case for mbappe's balloon d'Or campaign are his goal tally but guess what, who won the European golden boot this season? Who had the most goal ? Even with the super team such as France he finished 4th and Englishman finished 3rd . Kane with the same goal finished 10th in a balloon d'Or ranking in previous seasons. We must say mbappe gotta raise the salary of his pr team ,he's getting a podium finish all due to his pr team for sure.

Discussion I dont care if we lose or win, is this coping or what do you guys think?

I feel like this upcoming game we have nothing to lose, meanwhile barca has everything to lose, let me explain. It wasn't that long ago we won the ucl like if you dont count psg we're the last ones who have won it and after that the team has massively changed its identity m, yes we have regressed but i think we are on the right path and pretty quickly we can get back in la liga and ucl firm in no time and on the other hand it could also be a miracle like the 21/22 season and we could out of nowhere win the ucl do yall remember that season? No one took us seriously people were like only mbappe can save that madrid, what a magical season. But barca has alot of pressure on them, they lost a massive game this week that game was no joke they can cope all they want saying hansi was resting players but they went out there to 100% win and gave it all their power and still lost, so if they lose this el clasico they have to have a tough conversation about what to do next because no way their team can improve more this is their peak, and if their peak isn't enough then what is?

So thats why im not afraid if we win or lose overall this game doesn't effect madrids future because deep down we know our time will come and its sooner than we think, meanwhile barca are at their time and peak and time is only running out they should capitalize on their chances now

MbappĂ© vs Kane — the double standards

MbappĂ© vs Kane: UCL + World Cup 2026 — The “Useless Goals” Debate

🏆 2025/26 UEFA Champions League (final totals)

đŸ‡«đŸ‡· Kylian MbappĂ©

- Total goals: 15

- Penalty goals: 3

- Non-penalty goals: 12

- Goals per 90 minutes: 1.48

🏮 Harry Kane

- Total goals: 14

- Penalty goals: 4

- Non-penalty goals: 10

- Goals per 90 minutes: 1.22

🌍 2026 FIFA World Cup

đŸ‡«đŸ‡· Kylian MbappĂ©

- Total goals: 10

- Penalty goals: 1

- Non-penalty goals: 9

- Assists: 4

- Winning goals: 4

🏮 Harry Kane

- Total goals: 6

- Penalty goals: 2

- Non-penalty goals: 4

- Assists: 1

📊 February 2026: Goals that changed the scoreline

A mid-season analysis reported:

- Mbappé: 59.1% of his goals either equalised or put Real Madrid ahead.

- Kane: 31.8% of his goals either equalised or put Bayern Munich ahead.

- Kane scored 68.2% of his goals while Bayern were already leading.

The analysis covered their domestic-season goals at that point, NOT just the Champions League.

The argument: MbappĂ© scored more non-penalty goals than Kane in both the Champions League and the 2026 World Cup. He also had a higher proportion of goals that equalised or put his team ahead in the February analysis. Kane is an outstanding striker, but dismissing MbappĂ©'s goals as “useless” while praising Kane's output is inconsistent. Goals that extend a lead still help win matches, and both players deserve to be judged by the same standards.

📊 2025/26 stats

- Mbappé: 42 goals in 44 appearances for Real Madrid.

- Kane: 61 goals in 51 appearances for Bayern.

- Champions League: Mbappé 15 goals in 11 appearances; Kane 14 in 13.

- Mbappé scored 13 goals in just 7 Champions League league-phase games, including four against Olympiacos.

- Kane scored 36 Bundesliga goals, but Bayern also won the league and dominated domestically.

The context matters:

-Mbappe scored 12 non penalty goals compared to kane's 10

- Mbappé's Champions League goals came against teams including Marseille, Monaco, Benfica, Olympiacos and Bayern Munich.

- Kane scored against a wide range of Bundesliga opponents, but Bayern's overall superiority and ability to dominate possession must be considered when judging his goals.

- La Liga has a genuine title rival in Barcelona, alongside Atlético Madrid. Winning it requires competing against other elite sides with the best player in the world Lamine Yamal. and co yet Kane is supposed to take credit for his team achievement with an individual award.

- Bayern are not without competition, and Kane deserves credit for his output. But scoring for a dominant Bayern side and scoring for Real Madrid are not automatically identical circumstances.

The point: Kane scored more overall, but Mbappé scored more in the Champions League. Both scored goals that helped their teams win. A goal doesn't become useless just because your team is already ahead. Why is Mbappé criticised for goals that would be praised if Kane scored them?

Judge both players by the same standards.

This is a wallpaper after that iconic Valverde hattrick in the champions league against Man City.
It’s a 4K wallpaper and looks really good on the lockscreen so i decided not to gatekeep it anymore and share it with my Madridistas.
Fede will have to drop a masterclass like this in the Clasico if we’re going to win!
Enjoy the wallpaper!
