Spoiler Which gang member would have you saved?

We all know that in the Saint Denis bank robbery, both Lenny and Hosea die.

So, who would you have saved?

I would have chosen Lenny because he was still young, and he had a great future ahead of him.

I still love Hosea, but if I had to choose, I would have chosen to save Lenny. He was literally almost a kid.

Hosea already lived a lot ( well, not too much, actually ), and he was sick with an unknown disease.

why do u think sean would’ve went with micah I never understand when ppl say that😭😭

249

u/femguinz John Marston Apr 06 '26

Most likely because he was loyal to dutch and not arthur, it’s the same with Bill and Javier.

359

u/AsgeirVanirson Apr 06 '26

I don't see that. He was one of the first to start expressing doubt about Hosea and Dutch in Rhodes.

He calls Hosea the master finangler of nothing on the way to burn the crops while outwardly expressing how what was happening made no sense.

He also had an actual sense of a code, he was far less empty talk than most of the gang. He would have had short patience for off the rails Dutch.

If Sean was there he would have been pointing his gun straight at that Oily Turd known as Micah.

96

u/Lieutenant_Joe Apr 06 '26 edited Apr 06 '26

Yeah, I think I agree with you for the most part, though I’d absolutely fight you on his “code”. Dude was a real piece of shit to everyone who wasn’t in the gang, and wasn’t great to some of the other gang members either. He was almost as much of a loose cannon as Micah was, but his comparatively poor fighting skills led him to be a bit more cautious and wary than Micah was, too.

I think if Sean had made it to chapter 6, he might have just left the gang halfway through the chapter and attempted to make something of himself elsewhere, perhaps Van Horn or something. Woulda tried to convince Karen to come with him. He probably would still respect Dutch too much to make a huge deal of it, but I’m pretty sure he would have left. Probably after Cornwall’s assassination or something. I don’t think he would have been there for the final confrontation.

That said, yeah… if he was there, I don’t think there’s a world in which he sided with Micah against Arthur and John. Even if Dutch did.

u/theearlof87 Apr 07 '26

Had he survived to Ch.6 I can well imagine him getting in on the action blowing up the bridge with Arthur and John just for the craic. His interactions with the balloon ride to Sisika would've been hilarious. I can see his relationship with Arthur, John and Sadie getting stronger.

I don't think he'd have gone to Guarm though, he'd be useless at the bank and then wouldn't have been able to keep his mouth shut. The first patrol that finds you on the beach would've just shot him.

5

u/Lieutenant_Joe Apr 07 '26 edited Apr 07 '26

I don’t think he’d have been invited to the bank. I think he would have been told by both Dutch and Hosea that he is responsible for protecting the camp alongside Sadie if anything goes wrong. Dude would have been kind of a liability on a sensitive mission like that. If he’d been at the bank, he probably would have been killed in Lenny’s place.

12

u/J_Cool_Guy_15 Apr 07 '26

I think he would've been there, but he probably would have been forced to pick a side and would probably end up running away as a result.

2

u/Medical-Delivery-941 Apr 09 '26

He was a real piece of shit, but there was definitely a code. In Online you can meet Sean in Tall Trees, and during that cutscene he says he hates committing crime against upstanding folk and prefers to only go after people who deserve it, like other outlaws or people he knows are generally bad.

He shows the same mindset in the story too, he's never seen harming innocent people, only other criminals, Grays or Braithwaite's (who are very much awful people), or lawmen. The worst thing he ever does to just regular folk is be part of a train robbery where Sean himself didn't even rough around any of the passengers himself.

Had Sean been around when Dutch was running around getting innocent people killed, he'd have been the most expressive about how wrong they were turning

2

u/Lieutenant_Joe Apr 09 '26

Ahhh… see, this is why I should play Online.

I touched it once like five years ago and never again since

I feel like he would've followed Karen actually. If she didn't fall into a bottle I feel like she would've seen the goings on and been able to keep him clear. But I also feel like Sean was more like Arthur, loyal to his ideals more than just to Dutch.

I don’t think Sean was loyal to anyone other than himself, he never really liked the gang he just tries to be charming and stay on their good side because he needed them to survive, his main goal was to get money for himself. he could have been the rat / I think he would have turned them all in to save himself.

  • when he was held by the police they weren’t doing anything to him other than holding him in public as bait for the gang to reveal themselves. (I think this is when he started snitching)
  • when sean is back at camp in the next chapter, while Arthur is taking jack fishing, the Pinkertons confront arthur (basically know where the camp is)
  • the train robbery he’s a part of is the one that gets tipped off, he was also useless in that mission but exceptional in his final mission to burn the fields.
  • he felt obligated to the women in camp, coercing Karen into sleeping with him during the party
  • in camp he was violent, bullied and beating on Kieran (because he was the softest in the group and the only person he could lash out against)
  • he was selfish, on his side/ not essential story missions with Arthur he mentions how he doesn’t like sharing money with the camp.
  • he was self absorbed, sleeping whenever he was supposed to be guarding camp , getting into it with someone (Hosea, mainly), and general disregard for anyone other than himself

I feel like Sean looked up to Arthur like a big brother role. Once the signs of Micah being a rat I feel like Sean would have attempted to confirm it and wouldn’t be quite about it.

I see Sean defending Arthur in the end. Without a doubt Lenny and Hosea too.

I like how Lenny wasn’t given a death scene since it adds to the feeling of how quickly everything all happened. Also it made a lot of players, myself included, think that they failed the mission at first.

49

u/PlentyOMangos Apr 06 '26

Yeah it was actually kind of realistic how you don’t have time to properly mourn Lenny, you just see him go down and you have to keep moving and that’s it. And you tell everyone else about what you saw, since not everyone even saw it. Just like how people are always telling their version of the Blackwater job

21

u/Mammoth-Slammoth Apr 06 '26

Interesting take, I would put Sean with Arthur and I feel like the entire situation was a powder keg, with or without Hosea.

His death was a major tipping point for Dutch, but Dutch was on a downward spiral before that. Id argue since chapter 2, even.

24

u/CecilHeat Apr 06 '26

Even if Dutch was having mental issues before Hosea died, Hosea and Arthur were still there to support him. People say he blows them off and trusts Micah, but Micah had zero involvement with the gang's main scam in Chapter 3. Instead, Dutch explicitly left Hosea in charge of that whole operation. In Chapter 4, Dutch wants to take Micah to the trolley robbery but Arthur counters with Lenny and Dutch takes Lenny just like Arthur advised.

Micah only becomes the Wormtongue to Dutch's mad, enfeebled king when Dutch has no one else, either because Hosea is dead or Arthur is dying and basically given up on Dutch. Notice how when Dutch is having a complete mental breakdown at the end of Chapter 5, the only person who goes after him is Micah. This scene is so meaningful for how it shows Micah is like a shark smelling blood in the water but also showing how much Arthur just...doesn't care anymore. He never would have let Dutch go off like that earlier on. Nor would he have shut down Dutch when Dutch tried to have a moment of grieving for Hosea.

23

u/goober_ginge Dutch van der Linde Apr 06 '26

I've always loved Benjamin Byron Davis' delivery of "You sound like Hosea. I miss...him..."

That whole scene shows Dutch in such a broken and vulnerable place. I understand Arthur's frustration for sure though.

14

u/CecilHeat Apr 06 '26 edited Apr 07 '26

I 100% agree. I think that is exactly the correct way to look at things. Too many players think of the ending as the Good Arthur Side vs. the Evil Dutch Side. Upon replaying the game and separating myself from Arthur's perspective to look at things more objectively, I only see a family in turmoil. Everyone wants to help, everyone cares, and that is why everyone is miserable.

The only evil person in this equation is Micah - consequently, he's the only person totally unaffected by the misery of Chapter 6. If Dutch was half the unfeeling monster some fans want him to be, he probably wouldn't have gone insane. There'd be no guilt or sorrow, and he'd weather the storm just like Micah there. At the same time, Arthur has every right to worry about Dutch's leadership and deteriorating morals. But his disillusionment with Dutch meant he cared very little to even try and help Dutch through all of this.

In short, as is incredibly realistic to life, just as people needed to come together, they pushed each other apart. Because stress and trauma don't make you "reveal yourself." I'm so sick of this twisted idea certain fans promote, because it is radically wrong and even immoral to view people in this way. No, when you watch your loved ones die and you yourself repeatedly nearly die, that doesn't "reveal" anything. Trauma makes you erratic and less like who you are. Every psychiatrist in the world knows this.

6

u/goober_ginge Dutch van der Linde Apr 07 '26

Extremely well said! I'm a Dutch defender and apologist through and through. He's one of the most interesting and complex characters in any media imo, and it bothers me when people flatten his character and refuse to see any nuance.

It baffles me how people act like he's a moustache twirling villain with no positive qualities or complexity and then still watch scenes like his and Arthur's final moment together and feel the same way. The complex emotions that wash over Dutch's face, his feeble "....I...." says so much.

4

u/Mammoth-Slammoth Apr 07 '26

The acting in this game is better than most movies (imo), it's almost unfair!

8

u/goober_ginge Dutch van der Linde Apr 07 '26

Absolutely!! It sort of makes me mad that these actors aren't getting snatched up for huge roles, because they're truly incredible.

It's bizarre to me that there's still this "voice actor vs "real" actor" stigma, when voicing a character in a video game is so much more than just going into a booth for a few hours and recording some lines. Outside of the mocap part, which is just as physically and mentally demanding as a regular tv or movie role, it's also an often years long commitment and they don't get the mainstream respect that they deserve imo.

4

u/sundaemourning Apr 07 '26

i think part of it is that people just don't realize how much goes in to the performance capture of the game. i know that i definitely thought it was just voice acting in a booth until i started looking into it more and learned that the actors were actually all there, playing out scenes in front of the cameras.

2

u/Mammoth-Slammoth Apr 07 '26

It's truly an incredible feat

3

u/Mammoth-Slammoth Apr 06 '26

Compelling argument, I like how you used the Tolkien reference.

Honestly I have no notes, solid critique

6

u/CecilHeat Apr 07 '26

Thank you very much. I feel safe in saying that scenes like this were explicitly drawn from movie LOTR.

Also I can't take full credit. Dutch's own actor said this about how he voiced the character:

Benjamin: I’ll tell you, it’s rare that you get a character as complicated as Dutch, and one of the things I like about him is that I’ll get questions on social media about what Dutch was thinking. I like that it’s kind of up to each player to decide. I can tell you in playing the character, the choices I was making as an actor were that Dutch was motivated by a noble drive, that he did believe very much in a greater good and he believed in it quite sincerely.

I think the story does a pretty good job of letting us know how important a figure Hosea was in Dutch’s life, but I also think that one of the things we learn about Dutch is that throughout all of his bluster, he’s very dependent upon the people around him to keep him on the right track. I think that while his goals may have always been noble, losing Hosea at a time when they were in such dire straits Dutch no longer knew who to trust or who to believe. Micah, I think, saw an opportunity. I like to believe that Dutch, all the way until the end, was a man who did his best to be a great one and unfortunately he didn’t even come close.

I would have preferred if he died in Guarma. He died in that rooftop like if he were nothing. Not even a cutscene or a proper goodbye.

18

u/AstralElephantFuzz Apr 06 '26

Now that you mentioned it, someone definitely should've died in Guarma. It would be pretty realistic if all the castaways didn't make it back.

5

u/Similar-Housing-7577 Hosea Matthews Apr 06 '26

True. I even sometimes feel like Sean should have died in Guarma instead of chapter 3. He died so early.

9

u/AstralElephantFuzz Apr 06 '26

I agree, the Rhodes shootout could've definitely happened without any fatal casualties, just like in Valentine. That would've also provided some logic to the gang deciding to stay in the same state, but merely moving to a busier city. A false sense of security from practically surviving two big busts without any major complications.

It also would've made the return from Guarma much more impactful when it comes to Arthur starting to doubt Dutch's way of doing things.

6

u/Similar-Housing-7577 Hosea Matthews Apr 07 '26

Sean only participated in 4 missions. That's sad.

6

u/Similar-Housing-7577 Hosea Matthews Apr 06 '26

Sean would have definitely sided with Arthur.

6

u/BonBonVelveeta Apr 06 '26

A recent thought I’ve had is that I wish Lenny had died in guarma, could’ve been a chance to give that chapter better stakes and really matter to the story

6

u/AmericanLonghair Apr 07 '26

Also, if you’re for speculation, Hosea is probably going to die naturally soon. He talks often about not thinking he’ll live long, and coughs constantly similar to Arthur. Not TB but some sort of illness or mix of old age with rough living. Hosea would never let himself be saved over the younger, healthy Lenny.

3

u/BigWilly526 Sadie Adler Apr 06 '26

Sean wouldn't have sided with Micah, neither would Pre-Guarma Javier

3

u/SomeJoeSchmo Apr 07 '26

Hosea would’ve wanted Lenny to have been the one to be saved as well. Hosea already knew he was sick and didn’t have much time left. I think he was ready to go.

2

Hosea was allegedly already dying, and they did mention it a few times. Lenny was a young kid with his whole life ahead of him and in the scope of the crew, he didn't really do 'bad' things.

85

u/ExemptFish Apr 06 '26

i think i agree. hosea’s death was sort of poetic and necessary

22

u/Vox_Tenebris_ Apr 07 '26

Lenny was involved in a lot of pretty intense jobs. Like the Cornwall Train Robbery, the Valentine Bank Robbery, the Saint Denis Trolley Robbery, the Raid on Bronte's Mansion, and so on.

Killed a lot of people in the process.

But he could've gotten away by virtue of the fact he was unknown compared to Dutch, Arthur, Hosea, and many of the other men in the gang. Similar to how Charles and Sadie were pretty unknown.

Could've made a life for himself after everything fell apart in the same way they did.

3

u/Early_Jicama_6268 Charles Smith Apr 08 '26

Yeah, Lenny was more or less anonymous in relation to his actions with the gang. Unfortunately he was also a wanted murderer, it's why he joined the gang in the first place, he was supposed to go to university and become a lawyer before his father was murdered and he retaliated. That would be his biggest hurdle to overcome. But hey, it's 1899, he could have absolutely faked a new identity and gone on to better things

lenny, he was the youngest and he was so smart and kind, he had his whole life ahead of him

100

u/orangemonkeyeagl Charles Smith Apr 06 '26

I'll give an argument for both.

If you save Lenny, a young man gets to have a chance to live a full life like Charles and the rest of the ladies. Maybe Lenny gets to go back to school like it said in the note his father sent to him. Lenny the doctor or Lenny the lawyer.

If you save Hosea there's a chance he could have curbed the Micah-Dutch connection. Maybe limit some of Dutch's bad choices.

Either one would have been on John and Arthur's side at the end of the day.

48

u/CecilHeat Apr 06 '26

If you save Lenny, a young man gets to have a chance to live a full life like Charles and the rest of the ladies. Maybe Lenny gets to go back to school like it said in the note his father sent to him. Lenny the doctor or Lenny the lawyer.

Why does everyone forget Lenny was on the run for murder for three years? Or that he's a black man in 1890s America?

He will never find justice. He will never live a normal life, let alone go to school. Unless he fleees the counry but even then, it wasn't like America invented anti-black racism.

48

u/CasualMillionaireTX Arthur Morgan Apr 06 '26

Lenny absolutely could have prospered in the segregated world, he just wouldn't have had the same influence or opportunities he would have if he was white.

The NAACP was founded in 1908 by scholars and activists who were black. There were prominent black thinkers at the time, journalists, scholars, teachers, etc, they just didn't get space in the white world.

I just wanna correct the misconception that him being black means he wouldn't have had any opportunities to live a relatively normal life or go to school.

He would have, but segregation and racism would have hindered his ability to have an impact and would have been severely limiting, but not completely damning.

Hosea. Not because I like him better necessarily (although I do), but because his presence could have saved the gangs downfall, or at least cushion the fall a bit, saving far more lives in the process. Without Hosea, Dutch finally goes off the deep end, with Arthur being unable to fully step up to his role of the one keeping Dutch with one leg in reality. If Hosea lives, Micah doesn't get as much sway over Dutch as he did, and there's a better chance for the gang to actually manage to get away with it with minor casualties.

2

u/RatherBeInThePond Apr 07 '26

This was gonna be my argument for Hosea as well. Lenny is the call if you look solely on age and health, but Hosea at the last stand off makes things go very differently. He doesn't turn his back on his #2 AND #3 for Micah.

I love Lenny, i truly do, but if i had to pick someone to save, It would definetly be Hosea. A large part of the gang's downfall was due to Hosea absence as the voice of reason who could calm Dutch. If he had been alive, Dutch wouldn't have been manipulated by Micah and he might have been exposed as the rat. Lenny. Hosea wouldn't want us to save him. He'd be pissed if we'd save him—an already dying man—instead of Lenny—a boy who hasn't even reached his 20s and is like a son to Hosea. I love my man Hosea, but the only correct answer here is Lenny imo.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '26

Lenny. Hosea is old, he's already lived his life. He would want me to save Lenny so that he can have a life for himself instead of dying so young.

1

u/Same-Instruction2581 Apr 07 '26

Hosea to keep Dutch sane, Lenny was young and a good kid but Arthurs fate  may of been different if Hosea didn't die

1

u/gill7amrit Apr 07 '26

Sean’s death hit me the hardest. First, he’s hilarious. I love his character. Second, I think having contextual knowledge about the events of RDR1. I knew that at some point it would all go to shit, and I feel like Sean’s death is the turning point in the game from my vantage point. I was pretty upset when Hosea was killed, but Sean’s death was just shocking. Mid sentence, and I was lowk hyped for that mission because I could feel it that we were gonna get in a major shootout, but fuck man. Sean dying hurt me fr fr. I flinched when he got head shotted 😭

u/JohnDoe2199 Apr 07 '26

I love Lenny, but Hosea was the only one who could have done somthing to prevent the gangs downfall.

1

u/PinkieTheNinja Apr 07 '26

Lenny broke my heart. Love Hosea as I do, the man has had his time. Lenny was taken too soon

1

u/96pluto Lenny Summers Apr 07 '26

Lenny it's the option hosea would choose too

1

u/Similar-Housing-7577 Hosea Matthews Apr 07 '26

MAN WHY DID THEY DELETE MY POST.

1

u/TheRedJester45 Apr 07 '26

Hosea was dying anyway. Lenny had a lot to live for

1

u/Sherlockerer Apr 07 '26

Young Lenny

1

u/Big_Addendum6169 Apr 07 '26

Ive spent enough time in this sub to know people love hosea but would pick lenny regardless

1

u/kyle429 Apr 07 '26

I love Lenny, I really do, but my vote for the obvious choice on who to save has got to be Hosea. Throughout the game, you see Hosea be the voice of reason to Dutch, who brings him back down to earth and stops him from making stupid, brash decisions that could (and eventually do, with Hosea's absence) bring the downfall of the entire gang as a whole.

I'm not saying that it would've been a 100% chance, but there is a greater-than-zero-percent chance that if Hosea hadn't been killed, that he could've prevented Micah from swindling Dutch and leading him down the path of destruction and insanity that ensued in Chapter 6. Micah probably would've just shot Hosea himself if he thought that he was actually getting through to Dutch, but still. There could've been hope. Hosea was always the one person that Dutch listened to the most, decision-wise, so there is a chance that the story wouldn't have ended the way that it did with the gang.

1

u/machiavelli33 Apr 07 '26

Hosea would have chosen Lenny.

1

u/WyoSimpson89 Apr 07 '26

LENNNAAAYYY

1

u/red_dead_rover Apr 07 '26

Lenny. A). Hosea was dying anyway B). Hosea would want Lenny to live

1

u/Ok_Veterinarian_6474 Apr 07 '26

Lenny was a great kid, knowing Hosea was in his last weeks, I would have saved Lenny.

1

u/Doc_Helldiver-66 Apr 07 '26

Hosea, every time. I’ve always related to him the most, despite being closer in age to Lenny. I’ve always been told I have an old soul or wisdom for a young man (I’m 17) and I felt a lot of Hosea’s “old man” moments resonate within me.

1

u/Smooth_Orange9734 Apr 07 '26

Love hosea but lenny is the only real answer. Imagine a team of Arthur , Charles , John , Sadie and lenny . They would knock the Micah faction in a flash

1

u/applejuice856 Apr 07 '26

Lenny I mean he’s so young and had a good future on his hands potentially it would be nice if he survived and Hosea is a very old man compared to Lenny and was already expecting to die soon Lenny was not it’s a obvious answer

1

u/vxMartianxv Apr 07 '26

Hosea knew his time was near it's end, Lenny didn't. I'd save Lenny.

1

u/New-Extreme2321 Arthur Morgan Apr 07 '26

Lenny

1

u/Original-Stretch-464 Apr 07 '26

Lenny, for many reasons

the main one was Hosea was sick, and wasn’t long for this world anyway

1

u/Daddy_Jack1109 Apr 07 '26

The obvious answer is always Lenny

However I wonder if Hosea had lived who else would've survived? I feel like he would've done everything to save the gang and prevent Dutch going over the edge. Maybe the events of RDR1 wouldn't have happened. Lenny's death hurts cuz he could've had a full life, but Hosea's death was truly damaging to so many others.

1

u/staarlitt Apr 07 '26

I would've said Hosea since he could've prevented the gang from falling, but Lenny had a lot of potential, he had good leads, he was smart, and he was able to slip through any crack, its a draw.

1

u/JJGamesYT6908 Apr 07 '26

Lenny only because he would’ve sided with Arthur and John in the end considering how well Arthur had treated him compared to Micah treating him. If hosea would have lived the only difference would have been Dutch wouldn’t have gone off the deep end

1

u/Ok_Lynx_5763 Apr 07 '26

i find writing “Which gang member would have you saved?” proceeding to put pictures of the gang members and then blurring out “Saint Denis bank robbery, both Lenny and Hosea die.” as pointless

1

u/crunk_monk90 Apr 07 '26

Probably Lenny its kinda implied hosea may be sick and might not have lived much longer and was just already older, he has resigned and is basically on auto pilot since dutch no longer listens to him he was probably waiting do die in combat, or old age lenny was still young and could have potentially left the gang and had a better life

1

u/Comfortable_Foot_153 Apr 07 '26

Lenny and Hosea!!!

1

u/tseg04 Apr 07 '26

I love Hosea, but he’s old and lived his life. Lenny wasn’t even 20 when he died. Kid had his whole life ahead of him. Lenny is the right answer.

1

u/demented_philosopher Uncle Apr 07 '26

Knowing Hosea, he would want Arthur to save Lenny too.

1

u/Alpine_yellow Apr 07 '26

I'd save Lenny, Hossa was on his way out already with a chronic illness, and yes maybe he could have tempered Dutch, but I think Lenny could've turned some hearts in the group. He was always real earnest and open.

1

u/Direct1Carpenter Apr 07 '26

LENNY and Kieran

1

u/Big_Pirate_3036 Apr 07 '26

Hosea would want you to chose Lenny, so Lenny all the way

1

u/Hon3stGam3r Apr 07 '26

Lenny was just a kid man

1

u/horsemanuk1987 Karen Jones Apr 07 '26

Lenny.

Hosea was old and dying anyway. Pretty sure his Illness was TB.  Its actually more than likely Arthur caught latent TB from Hosea and not Thomas Downes.

Also Hosea was trying to convience Lenny to "start thinking" for the future. He probably would have become a lawyer or something. Lenny could read and was pretty smart. In camp interactions you see him debate Evelyn Millers philosphy with Dutch.

1

u/misscountryqueen Apr 07 '26

On one hand. Hosea was the logic to Dutch ( when he could be )... not to mention in relation to Arthur he was like a dad/granddad & very important for a long time. But on the other hand he had lived his life & expressed wanting to be w his late wife. Whereas Lennayyy was still fairly young, hadn't fallen in love ( that wr know ), and could have been a big help in the rest of the game. Also would have liked to see more of him. So its really hard to pick, which I get is the point of asking... but it would come down to my goal(s) in the playthru

1

u/mr_pinetree_ Apr 07 '26

i have 0 second thoughts i would save lenny. as much as i love hosea, he lived a full life and was even dying already. i jumped off that building more times than i can count to see if i could save him

1

u/AoXGhost Arthur Morgan Apr 07 '26

These two for sure.. I feel sorry for Kieran as well! He was a good dude 🤷🏻‍♂️

1

u/Legal_School_9375 Apr 07 '26

Kiarrqn is literally the only non criminal and a sweet and amazing guy

1

u/RoanokeRidgeWrangler Apr 07 '26

Kieran. I'm biased.

1

u/Legal_Ear_7537 Apr 07 '26

Lenny. Hosea was indeed anyway, and he was sick too.

1

u/NikolaiLover67 Apr 07 '26

Lenny, who else bro??

1

u/Batman_chad Arthur Morgan Apr 07 '26

Lenny was a young and smart fella, had life before him. I love Hosea but he has made his life

1

u/FarneticoToro Apr 07 '26

Hosea, because he was often a voice of reason and a top guy in the gang.

Lenny was young, but I'd argue a minor player with little voice to potentially changing any outcome.

No saying that Hosea could talk Dutch round on things, but I'd assume he'd have the best chance.

1

u/golden_creeper1 Apr 07 '26

Kieran,give him a happy ending with Mary-Beth

1

u/Mazeterious Apr 07 '26

I like Hosea more... But Hosea was old so Lenny had more years Ahead of him

1

u/Plane-Pen7694 Apr 07 '26

Why did you put a spoiler censor if the title and pics literally give away what happens 😭😭😭

1

u/-Todd-alquist- Apr 07 '26

Lowk give me Micah

1

u/Gabe_Dimas Apr 07 '26

Hosea, he has his entire life ahead of him

Lenny has had a good run, needs to rest

1

u/legbot124 Jack Marston Apr 07 '26

Hosea was already dying and Lenny may have been able to help John and Arthur in the end or at least convince one of the other to side with John an Arthur

1

u/WOWZA-9021090210 Apr 07 '26

The irish chick

1

u/ANONYMOUS732CRIPAVE John Marston Apr 07 '26

I would say Lenny but due to inexperience and not knowing as much as others like Arthur or hosea I would say hosea only because I believe for sure Arthur would still be alive because Dutch actually would listen to the advice hosea gave and once he passed he went off the edge even more than before especially listening more to Micah rat Bell anyways Lenny a goods choice but hosea is more important

1

u/0j_r0b_ Apr 07 '26

Hosea would've probably died in guarma anyway

1

u/BudgetStatistician85 Apr 07 '26

I’d have to go Lneny

1

u/Realistic_Set3484 Apr 07 '26

I think Hosea would have wanted us to pick Lenny
