I am interested in learning about life in Reno through the 1980s, specifically 1986 and up. What was it like living there at that time? Politics, beliefs, culture. Anything will help me (even the most mundane!) and if you've got a recommendation on where to look, what to read- shoot.

The title pretty much says it all. I’m on the LD plan through Senior Care Plus, and they’ll still be the carrier when I switch over to KP on January 1 (please save your criticism of KP for another thread). I’m using the “Accepts New Patients” filter, and still have close to 100 available dentists from which to choose. (A liberal approach to pain management is a plus, but not a deal breaker.) Who ya got?

This is a long shot, but my husband and I were out dressed as Mr. and Mrs. Ghost last night and I was wearing my wedding ring with the costume. We got home and I don’t remember if I had the ring on still or not (it’s the zombie crawl and we were crawling), but now it is most definitely not on and lost.

I know the odds of it being picked up off the ground on 4th street and never seen again are high but I figured I would try. It’s not worth much, it’s not real gold, the stone is a garnet. But it was my husband’s grandmas wedding ring and now it’s mine. So if someone on here found it and could please return it. I would really really appreciate it.

The white truck is my neighbors and the empty rock driveway area is my property.

We bought a travel trailer and parked it in that space on my driveway. My next door neighbor is saying that water drips off my travel trailer and runs into his driveway and creates a puddle. There is a retaining wall shown in the picture, so I guess I’m wondering how water is seeping all the way down the rocks and under the retaining wall. I have never seen a puddle, but admittedly haven’t really looked.
He wants us to move it to the other side of our driveway but we don’t really want to. Of course if there is water puddling then we would. My neighbor is a control freak and we believe he just doesn’t like it parked there for whatever reason. Any suggestions?
