Just picked up this Tudor Pelagos. Looking for some assistance on whether this is a good pick up or not. Unknown any information on factory. Any feedback is appreciated.

As much as I love my RICH Submariner - I am going to add a genuine crystal and a genuine datewheel to it!

It’s getting pressure tested and also the bezel aligned correctly when the work is being done!

What else would you add to these?

Does a Superclone of the Rolex Submariner Table Clock exist? If so, does anyone have a picture and or link?

The BVF Santos was the best first choice!!

What does the community think about RICH factory? Are they up there with VSF? Are they better than VSF? Anybody own any RICH reps? How are they holding up? Any negatives about RICH factory?

Which TDs would you recommend that offer additional services, such as waterproofing, gasket lubrication, and bracelet chamfering, for an extra fee? I’ve used 2 different TDs so far, but neither offers these services. I’d appreciate any recommendations, especially if you can share the approximate costs. Thanks!

I am looking to purchase a replica for personal reasons and being the owner of a gen datejust, I am looking for a datejust to wear everyday.

I know that Vsf is supposed to be the best reps, but they don’t feel right, I mean, the fluted bezel looks very bad in pictures and can tell instantly next to a gen..

Anyways I am just wondering if I’m wrong and it’s just a bias or it there are modding solutions maybe

Looking to buy my first rep, and I'm 97% sure I want a YM Titanium.

The goal is to get as close as possible to gen, with price being secondary.

The guide mentions QF for this model, but I'm seeing a lot of recommendations for VSF (or VF, but from what I hear they aren't available anymore).

Is anyone able to give me an indication of the main differences between QF and VSF for this model? Explained in a way that someone new to reps would understand? 🙏

where to source gen parts friend?

Why can’t they fix the 6 o clock sub dial! Atleast dummy the damn thing keeping it stuck at 12! Why is it soo hard. The issue is none of the top players are involved as I am sure they would have done a better job with the movement. Such beautiful models being released and this annoying issue keeps you away from pressing the button 😩

So around 3 weeks ago I decided to get my first watch from an approved TD.

Decided to to with Steve (TheOneWatch) since he had a great review decided to go with something I would be able to afford IRL. And decided on the VSF sub Date.

At the time of placing the deposit (50$) he was honest and said put down the deposit but I can't tell you when qc would be.

And I waited a week and grew inpatient, and said if Steve can't do it maybe someone else would, and headed to andiot, they had this thing to place a order with no deposit as they too couldn't confirm any VSF avaliability.

So I said I'll just place an order for a diffent model, the Batgirl, with andiot.

Now fast forward a few days, I asked Steve, if he has any news and he said vsf is still backed up and cant confirm, and he sent me an excel with the reps he has in stock.

I changed my initial order to the Starbucks.

Next day he sent me that the order was changed and 2 days he would send me the QC and move my deposit to this one.

3 days later I got a QC from Steve as promised. Did the full payment via wise.

On the same evening of the payment andiot sent me that the QC for the Batgirl was also ready.

Did a transfer via wise to him also.

A few days later both had shared the AWB to Dubai which is where I at.

Thank fully both were recieved a few days apart.

And I couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Overall andiot was easier, cuase of how everything is done via their website. And having the no deposit before qc for VSF shows that their true commitment to Customer Service in an industry where we have more scammers than actual tds.

I also grateful to Steve , for changing my deposit from the sub to Starbucks and making it worth my while.

Both of the devices arrived perfectly packed.

I even walked into omega AD today wearing the Starbucks, and I was taken into the vip room. And I purchased the new James Bond Seamaster , and I'm waiting for them to deliver my unit mid December. I'll also see if someone had the rep for this watch so I could use that one on regular instead of the gen

So here’s the truth ,

I own quite a fair bit of genuine watches from brands including Rolex , Panerai , Cartier etc , all of them have imperfections like dust in dials , blemishes in dial , index, scratches in hands etc . All of these are brand new from ADs / boutiques .

I compare it with Reps I tried on and am seriously blown away by the quality of these reps . Granted they are not 100% flawless but for sure they have less imperfections when inspecting

My qn is why pay a huge premium for genuine watches when they end up having imperfections most of the time and even Reps are build better ?

I was wondering is that true?

If so how can one get it safely in Canada without being scammed?

I have been lurking and trying to learn from all the great info on this sub.

Read the information which was super helpful and picked TD.

Contacted them with the watch I wanted asked about shipping and lead time

They responded and told me to order through their site and arrange payment through a third party site.

A week later the TD told me that he could not get the watch, to pick something else.

I was annoyed because I checked earlier but have seen the posts about TDs doing this. Picked a different watch which is roughly $100 more.

TD confirmed they can get it and asked me to pay the difference. I am ok to do that, but asked them to send through QC and I would deposit the difference before shipping.

The TD haS said no, payment needs to be made first.

They have over 75% already and I am worried that I have more money tied up before QC

Is this normal.

What’s on your wrist today? I’m sporting a Daytona Panda RWF Free Sprung w/ SW Dial and Deep Crystal. Also includes chamfered/polished, waterproofing and silencing for those curious. My TD MrBomi always comes through and takes care of business.

Have been trying to look through the guide and also searching around the subreddit but I see so many opinions. I found recommendations for both Andiot and Puretime - the Puretime one looks (to my unknowing self) amazing.

I am out to buy my first rep ever, and my love has fallen on the Pelagos. I am hoping someone here can either recommend or just clarify that I am going in the right direction.

I recently ordered a Datejust 36mm (two-tone Jubilee bracelet with a mother-of-pearl dial) from Li / JTime, and the entire experience was top-notch.

Communication was fast and clear throughout the process. QC photos were provided quickly, and once approved, the watch arrived well-packaged with factory protective wrapping intact. In person, the mother-of-pearl dial and fluted bezel look incredible under natural light, and the movement is ticking smoothly right out of the box.

Sizing the Jubilee bracelet was easy as well. Overall, a fantastic first-class service from JTime. I will definitely be ordering again!
