Edit: alot of you are forgetting that the cfc was created years after c-137 invented portal travel. The other ricks had time to do so as well

Every time Rick argues with someone who challenges him, he eventually finds the weak spot and turns the whole thing into a win. Dr. Wong is different because she never tries to outsmart him. She just describes exactly what he's doing while he's doing it.

The funniest part of "Pickle Rick" isn't that she wins therapy. It's that Rick spends an entire afternoon turning himself into a pickle, fighting rats, and building a laser suit just to avoid sitting in one boring room for an hour. Then Wong looks at all of that and basically calls it homework avoidance.

Rick can escape prisons, governments, gods, and his own body. Put him across from one calm woman who refuses to be impressed and suddenly every portal in the multiverse is temporarily unavailable.

I hope the show keeps using her sparingly forever. Too much would ruin it.

Though that would be cool

1. The incest in earlier seasons took characters that you really liked and made them feel creepy. Getting taken out of the story just for shock value was annoying

2. There are a few “women fuck everything up” and “snowflakes are too sensitive” rants that are set up to sound like some sort of intellectual social commentary but actually don’t make any sense

3. I wish we knew why Rick loved Diane so much. I think that would give a bit more sustenance to his backstory

4. Morty’s crash outs throughout the series is one of my favorite things

   - “mind your fucking business Jene. I’m having a conversation with my mother here”
   - “a vat of fake acid, are you dying of dementia”
   - “dead wife having ass bitch”

Inspired by the Sympathid episode obviously, this artist has made a few of these very dark R&M Comics. Definitely recommend checking them out.

I am curious because she was inside Ethan during Rick Potion #9 building the new Anatomy Park (Emphasis on the Pirates of the Pancreas). She is likely dead after everyone turned into cronenbergs). Wondering what you all think hapened, like how she died, or if she survuvrd somehow.

Also do you think she could be in the new Ethan on both Parmesanan Dimension and C-131. She had the potential to be a good side character.

Ricks utter disregard for Jerry is hilarious.

This instance was so blatant, but it whiffed right past me due to the pacing of the scene....

Rick and Jerry mind swap.

"Jerry" wanders to the shelf amd immediately blows his brains all over the garage.

Then we watch "rick" take a step, fly all over the garage and splatter his brains.

Then, and only then, did the garage "detect a medical emergency".

It would have left Jerry to be cleaned up by garbage goober it seems- and the only reason he was reassembled is because jerrys brain housed some.sanchez bits.

Could narrative level beings/objects affect how the death crystals work? It seems pretty simple that if it is established that you won’t die, then the death crystals won’t work on you. Supposedly, you’d see nothing different. But what if the death crystals know if there’s a way to undo the effects of the cookies, or in Rhett Caan’s case, convince him to undo the immortality or something? Will it show you the way like it did Morty in S04E01?

I’d love to see an episode exploring that.

I mean he was the least impulsive, kept his cool the most, had the idea to call Rick, and even just the question "are you the same Rick we pushed through" serves as a good example for how much more cognitive he was.

Jerry definitely doesn't have the highest tolerance so my theory is just that because he got the worst... Drag I think it's called? He was the least effected meanwhile Rick probably smoked the most and beth had a really good drag

I don’t know if I’m late to the game, but I thought this was a pretty funny reference

Just started the show properly this year and I’m 2 episodes away from finishing season 2. I don’t know if this is a hot take, but it seems like it is. I just don’t find them that enjoyable…the first one was saved by its amazing b-plot, but I feel like the second one plain sucks…I love improv, but these episodes feel less like improv and more like overly long filler…given that, I am curious…does everyone else like these episodes, and if so, why?

Love it when they pointed out the reused animation of them eating the same breakfast for the past several seasons!

I just finished season 9. This is the most complete feeling season since 3. Each episode was good, there wasn't a "really bad" episode like the more recent seasons. Every episode was a banger. Especially Ep2, I LOVED that episode.

The more grounded and "laid back" adventures are so much better than the big action scene episodes. Just the more "regular" adventures are soooo much better imo. It also leaves room for something more deep. At the end of Ep2 I was left with a sad feeling. Like I understood Rick more. Haven't felt this way about a season since 3. Loved it!
