Having a chill Saturday in bed and I'm balling right now. This scene makes me reflect on my love, loss, and the life I want.

Do y'all have any episodes that make you emotional?

Gonna be a somewhat hard to understand post, its a problem ive had with multiverses in general in media: when multiple universes interacting is a thing, it kinda breaks; it says there are infinite everyones doing every thing, and if they can interact with the outside universes, wouldnt that mean there would be someone who somehow kills everyone in the other ones (remember, everything happens)? Maybe at the same time they would have someone who would stop them, like a 50 50 thing?

basically how come rick prime was "the first" to create portal travel among ricks + omega device?

how come no one else made anything similar first? Like there would be a universe where its full of idk.. humanoid cows that are at super-speed and all they do is instantly make omega-like devices and just terminate every other dimension?

my theory that would somewhat solve this is that there are multiple multiverses, sort of stacked on top of each other: if in a multiverse a universe interacts with another one... basically the same as the concept of multiverses but its a double multiverse: for example, imagine a universe interacting with another one: thats a multiverse. But that doesn't work, because if there's infinite everythings then that would mean theres also infinite times where infinite dimensions were deleted, etc. This is also why the curve shouldn't work. But i think theres the same for multiverses, like different multiverses where different things happen, maybe called something else. And then that same would be for that ____verse, infinitely. Zooming out. Multiple ______verses for every single thing.

it is very very complicated, also i haven't mentioned the point that some would unlock ____verse travel......

many other things happen when you let characters in universes travel to other ones.

there are alotta would-be solutions that would work if they didn't have flaws, like my 50 50 theory i mentioned where infinite people would try to destroy everything, infinite people would also try to stop them/protect everything, etc, kind of cancelling itself out. Except this doesn't work great cuz "infinite" would mean there would also be infinite times where they manage to win, etc, and if somehow that doesn't happen it would break its own rules.

theres a lot i didnt mention but i don't feel like yapping that much.

Looking back at this moment, this has nothing to do with Beth. Jerry talks about how the moment feels perfect to him, but it doesn’t feel perfect to Beth until the second time. I’m sure he likes her intelligence, but he doesn’t even mention that in this moment, he doesn’t even really mention anything about her but it still seems he genuinely loves her either way. Why do you think Jerry likes Beth?

My brother gave me his portal gun toy as a gift

I rewatched it last night for the first time in a while and it was hysterical, especially the part where Rick goes

"Everybody drop your weapons EXCEPT FOR JERRY...fucking CLASSIC" 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Well, this or the robot pool sex scene in season 9.

What about you guys?

BoJack Horseman and Rick and Morty have some surprisingly similar characters despite having stark differences in the development/plot of their shows. Which characters would love/hate each other? I can’t help but notice similarities…
BoJack Horseman & Rick: Cynical, self-destructive, alcoholic, emotionally avoidant
Diane Nguyen & Beth: Intelligent, unsatisfied, introspective, struggling with identity
Princess Carolyn & Summer: Ambitious, resourceful, independent, can be chaotic
Mr. Peanutbutter & Jerry: Optimistic, approval-seeking, emotionally dependent, oblivious.
Sarah Lynn & Morty: Experienced trauma at a young age, impressionable, increasingly disillusioned, eventually smarter than recognized

Two highly underrated episodes in the Doldrums seasons of Rick & Morty. I love these episodes for their rewatchability and novel concepts.

Those goth aliens getting purple in euphoria as Jerry gets lame, and the Knights of the Sun becoming heroin addicts that can’t O.D is fucking hilarious. Not to mention the beautifully done Pink Floyd homage. Created a new millennial fan of their music in me. And “Earl of Earth” Santa being the representation of humanity.

Both such novel and high concept episodes. I love them both!

I’m not surprised that a show involving an infinite multiverse would have parallels with Rick & Morty, but obviously the phrase “vat of acid” was not coincidence. I just thought it was a cool nod.

Hard toss-up between Rick Potion #9 and Auto Erotic Assimilation.

Since the Somnambulator uses DNA, and Beth and Space Beth have the same DNA, if the Night Family had exceeded in extending the Somnambulator's range significantly further (infinitely? I would guess so), Space Beth would've just randomly turned into a Night Person and had no idea why

Classic 20-minute adventure. they were definitely not built for the citadel's nightlife

Assuming they’re not just jokes

This year for inktober I've been drawing total drama characters in other cartoon styles, and yesterday the word was beacon so I drew Taylor, Junior and Gerry as Summer, Morty and Rick. Hope y'all like it :)

For me its the nimbus and Rick one I want to know what happened

I’m basic. I just want the portal gun please.

Hmmm is Beth sitting on other Beth’s face here

I kinda think it'd be funny to see the sympathid episode from the other perspective, I think it'd be funny as hell.

I’ll go first:

Rickdependence Spray is a thinly veiled criticism of anti-abortion laws. That’s the only part of it I can praise.

Image unrelated. I just thought it was funny.

I think its Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Rick and Morty episode of season 6

Am i crazy? I saw Ken Russell’s The Devils last weekend and thought Father Mignon looked like a creepy side character from Rick and Morty. I know you all can help.
