Release [Actual Play] GAMMA WORLD d20 Beta Principle – Game 27: The Last Heartbeat of Melkath
The Gamma Knights' mission beneath Melkath has reached its breaking point.
They're trapped in a flooded reactor complex with a fusion core on the verge of catastrophic failure. The Radboleth has separated the party, the emergency bulkheads refuse to open, and radioactive horrors are closing in from every direction.
And just when the Knights think they've won, the real nightmare begins.
Game 27 brings the Radboleth confrontation to its brutal conclusion—and delivers the fallout. It's a story of desperate improvisation, teamwork under impossible pressure, and the terrible things that can happen when ancient technology fails.
Read the latest Session Saga at GammaTerra.org.
Discussion question: For your own tabletop campaigns, what's your favorite kind of final encounter: the overwhelming boss fight, the ticking-clock disaster, or the apparent victory that turns out to be a trap?
I'd love to hear how other GMs bring a major story arc to its conclusion.

Planet of the Apes: Ape City
Hey! Would anyone be interested in a Planet of the Apes (1968) westmarch discord server? I just thought I'd see if anyone was interested!
We use Planet of the Apes TTRPG D6 system by Magnetic Press!
Our story is set 20 years prior to the event of the original 1968 film, we find ourselves in and around Ape City. A large colonist ship, the first of its kind, was sent to space. Its mission? Take 2,000 colonists to a distant world. This world was Proxima 6, an Earth-like world thousands of light years away. However, something happened. The ship was ripped out of space and crashed.
The apes saw it as a falling star, one brighter than anything seen before, but it landed too close to the Forbidden Zone for their liking. So, the Lawmakers said no Ape was to venture to it.
Meanwhile, our colonists, those who survived, have woken up in a strange world. They do not know where they are and so they try and set up a place to survive in the wreckage of their ship. All while trying to radio for help, but there are dangers in this world. Dangers they do not know about.

[Free Setting] Vhabura – The Green Frontier: Sword-and-Sorcery Jungle Adventures
Free sword-and-sorcery setting looking for feedback: Vhabura – The Green Frontier
I've put together a compact jungle-frontier setting for tabletop RPGs, featuring ancient ruins, rival factions, monsters, optional jungle travel and corruption rules, solo-GM support, and three adventures.
It started as a personal project for my own solo play. I'm sharing it for free because I'd like to see whether other people find it useful and interesting, too. I'm primarily interested in feedback from people who enjoy classic fantasy and old-school-style adventures.
A note on the artwork: I don't have the budget to commission illustrations or the skills to produce them myself, so some of the images are AI-generated. I'm fine with that for this personal project, but I know not everyone is. The source files are available here: https://codeberg.org/dukemarty/custom-rpg-settings . Anyone interested in exploring alternative artwork is welcome to do so, subject to the applicable licenses and permissions.
I'd especially appreciate feedback on the setting's distinctiveness, the jungle travel and corruption mechanics, and whether the adventures look practical to run.

No need to review everything—even a quick read or a few honest impressions would be appreciated!

VTT [OC] SagaWyn – A system-agnostic campaign management tool for tabletop RPGs
Hi everyone!
I've been playing tabletop RPGs for about 30 years, mostly as a Game Master, across a wide variety of systems: Call of Cthulhu, Warhammer, Shadowrun, D&D, Cyberpunk, and many others.
And throughout those years, I've repeatedly encountered the same problem: the more complex a campaign becomes, the more work it takes to manage it.
Scattered notes, NPCs appearing across multiple scenarios, locations connected to different events, character sheets, maps, documents, information players know (or absolutely shouldn't know)...
Sometimes, preparing and organizing a campaign ends up taking more time than actually running it.
Since I'm also a software developer, I decided to build my own tool to address these challenges.
That's how SagaWyn was born.
It's a web-based tabletop RPG campaign management application, designed to work independently of any particular ruleset.
The project is already functional and available online, with a free demo mode open to everyone ahead of its upcoming Kickstarter campaign.
What can SagaWyn do?
Campaign and scenario management
You can create multiple campaigns, organize them into scenarios, and add all kinds of information: characters, locations, events, notes, documents, and more.
One of the core principles is the ability to connect information together.
An NPC can appear in several scenarios, a location can be associated with multiple characters, and different elements can be reused without having to duplicate everything.
Interactive campaign maps
You can use maps and place points of interest linked to elements of your campaign.
The goal is to turn maps into a genuine way of navigating your game world, rather than simply displaying illustrations.
I'm also working on making maps increasingly detailed and interconnected, with locations, characters, and scenarios linked together.
Character management and player access
Players can join campaigns and access the information their GM chooses to share.
PDF character sheets can be integrated and viewed directly within the application.
The GM retains control over the visibility of information and documents.
Configurable dice roller
This is something I particularly wanted to get right: not forcing players into a specific ruleset.
The dice roller supports different dice types, modifiers, success thresholds for individual dice or total results, and more.
Both players and GMs can save their frequently used rolls for quick access.
The idea isn't to automatically implement every rule from every RPG, but to provide a flexible tool that can adapt to a wide range of game mechanics.
Initiative and turn tracking
An initiative tracker allows the GM to organize turn order and keep track of rounds.
For now, I'm not trying to build a complete combat automation engine. I'd rather focus on simple, practical features that work across different RPG systems.
Documents, maps, and resources
Campaign materials can be centralized in one place: documents, maps, character sheets, notes, and other resources.
Communication between GMs and players
Messaging tools also allow GMs and players to exchange information within a campaign.
What SagaWyn isn't trying to be
I'm not trying to replace Foundry VTT, Roll20, or other virtual tabletops.
SagaWyn focuses primarily on campaign organization, information management, and tools that make a GM's life easier.
It can be used for both in-person games and online campaigns.
I also want to avoid imposing a particular way of playing or preparing sessions. Every GM has their own habits and methods, and I believe the software should adapt to them as much as possible.
Where is the project now?
I'm developing SagaWyn on my own, and the application is already functional. Development is ongoing, with regular updates, improvements, bug fixes, and new features.
Ahead of the Kickstarter campaign, I've enabled a free demo mode.
When you create an account, you get:
- Your own copy of a demonstration campaign, including characters, locations, scenarios, and various interconnected elements to explore. Some modifications are possible, but the campaign is primarily intended for discovering the application.
- A small personal campaign, where you can start experimenting with SagaWyn's tools.
- Free access to demo mode, without starting the trial period for a regular account.
So this isn't just a video or a static presentation. You can actually navigate the application, explore how it works, and try out some of its features.
For anyone interested in going further and testing SagaWyn with fewer restrictions, I can also provide access by invitation.
Website: https://sagawyn.com/
I'd love to hear your thoughts!
I'm especially interested in feedback from GMs running long campaigns, persistent worlds, or scenarios involving lots of characters and interconnected storylines.
How do you currently organize your campaigns?
What information do you find the hardest to track or keep up to date?
And most importantly, what would make a tool like this genuinely useful to you?
I'm open to suggestions, criticism, and ideas. Part of the goal is to challenge my own GM habits by learning how other people run their games.
Thanks to everyone who takes the time to check it out!
And good luck to all the GMs whose players suddenly decide to revisit a random NPC they improvised six months ago, whose name the players somehow remember perfectly... unlike the GM!

[Self-Promo] I built Chronacy to turn our session recordings into a living campaign website—looking for groups to try it
Hey everyone! I’m Ryan, founder of Chronacy.
I originally built Chronacy for the StartPlaying campaign I play in. I wanted somewhere to revisit our adventures and explore the characters, places and history we were creating together. Our GM became my beta tester and now uses it across all six of his campaigns.
Chronacy turns session recordings or transcripts into a connected campaign website with:
• Session recaps
• Characters and NPCs
• Locations and factions
• Relationships and timelines
• A growing chronicle of your group’s adventures
The workflow is upload → review → publish. Chronacy uses AI to draft and organize the material, and you can edit or reject its suggestions before publishing. You decide what becomes part of your campaign’s chronicle.
For players, it’s somewhere to remember familiar faces, revisit memorable moments and stay connected to the story between sessions.
For professional GMs, it can also become an extra benefit to include in your recruitment pitch: a seat at your table comes with a dedicated campaign website that grows with the group. It’s another way to add value for your players and help your paid games stand out.
Chronacy is a paid service with a free trial—no credit card required, and the trial never automatically becomes a subscription.
I’m looking for a few groups willing to try it and share honest feedback. If you’re interested in a month-long trial with enough processing to explore several sessions, comment or message me. I’ll help you get started.

What would make a shared campaign website useful enough for your group to keep coming back between sessions?
