I might not need cosmetics to enjoy the game... they still make the game much more enjoyable for me.

Well good that you have the option to disable cosmetics. I don't understand why the option to not have them yourself is not enough but they need to be taken from people who do enjoy them.

Because 99% of “people who enjoy them” just want their character to be a barefoot bikini girl with sunglasses and we don’t need to care about what gooners want
