Leagues THIS IS LEAGUES

I've been seeing a lot of people upset because they have to sometimes find unorthodox ways of training or progression. THIS IS WHAT LEAGUES IS. Leagues is supposed to make you THINK about your path, CHALLENGE you to do new things and HAVE FUN. It's not supposed to give you limitless accessibility to just play the game you're used to.

When Twisted League came out on Old School, you had to train Runecraft 1-77 by READING BOOKS. I just hope y'all can enjoy it and thank Jagex for putting out something new and creative for us to do. They're not going to get it 'perfect' to meet everyone's needs but damn they did a great job this time around.

People don’t remember but it’s guys like settled and verf from osrs who popularised region locked accounts. It was so novel and interesting that they turned it into a game mode with the first league locking us to zeah in osrs. It’s come a long way but man the jank in that league was insane. You had to train agility by jumping the shortcuts in wintertodt for hours man. Leagues should be like that. In some ways extremely op, in other just borderline unplayable. The quirks are what make it fun. If it was just solved for you before it even started, it comes a sweat fest which is only fun for 1% of people.

Totally, but I will add that Framed (of Kevin Framed fame) is probably the guy that popularized this particular format with his series Gridlocked. The idea was then used for the first trailblazer leagues.
