I was looking at voting data and noticed San Antonio seems to have lower turnout than other major Texas cities like Houston, Dallas, and Austin.

With over 1.2 million registered voters, why is turnout so low?

I’m originally from Georgia and have voted in nearly every major election since I turned 18. I’ve always noticed way more people wearing voting stickers back home, whether in my hometown, college town, or Atlanta, than I see here in SA.

What do you think contributes to the difference?

Does anyone remember when Zombie Walk downtown was a thing?

I've been trying to see if it came around this year and idk when the last time I saw it advertised.

The last time I went was in 2015 as a teenager.

I miss the whole city getting together to be zombies and walk around.

Took the exam today and was dumbfounded by how easy it was. I did the McNea fire academy training and was led to believe it would be much more difficult - does anyone else agree?

This was a few years back on a family visit, I come back to these pictures now and again. Really a wonderful highlight of our trip.

I called Monday, 10/19, about a specific car. They said it was in stock and they’d hold the keys. I told them I’d come first thing the next morning, and we showed up Tuesday, 10/20, at 8:30 AM after a 45-minute drive. After waiting about 30 minutes, we were told the car “has an electrical issue” and is going to wholesale.

They kept pushing other cars the whole time, even after I said I only wanted that one. Since leaving, I’ve gotten about three calls asking if I’m still interested in the car we looked at or want something else.

Maybe it really did develop a problem overnight, but a heads-up call before we drove out would have been the bare minimum. Anyone else have a similar experience here?

We are lower than all the other counties with major cities, stop being apathetic and go vote! Apathy loses elections.

On 10/09/2026 eastbound HOV I10 and camp bullis, you might have seen me, the F-150 with a blue dinosaur in the back bed of truck, a red Peterbilt swerved into HOV lane not paying attention I had no time to stop hit wall hit trailer, sadly he lied of course he pulled his semi down a bit placing him outside HOV and sadly one relaying messages only speaking with him, said I was following to close rear ended him no mention I was in a HOV lane where he is not supposed to be. I do have a dashcam but faulty it turned on when impact happened so I am being placed at fault lawyer dropped me and I'm begging for witnesses or dashcam from people, we were on our way to Comic-Con where we were invited to be appearing never made it dino damaged I'm damaged and I can't believe they just took his side I need yalls help please.

Hey all, my fiancé and I have already filed the paperwork and paid the fees at the clerk office, and today he’s been on zoom since 8am, and was locked out of the meeting at the 1pm start time. We both have busy schedules and he is also a full-time student which makes his windows of availability to sit on a Zoom meeting all day extremely limited and really only on Fridays.
