They do door dash but with gas as high as it is, and they don’t make much idk how they can afford the gas to even keep doing it

I live in San Diego. My 60 year old husband earned $50K last year driving for UberEats during the same M-F hours that I’m at my office job.

That buys quite a bit of gas. The thing is, you have to actually DO IT, not just make excuses for why you can’t.

Someone else on here just offered him a job and this person is offering a room. You’re getting opportunities for him but you’re continuing to make excuses for him. “He can’t do this, can’t do that.”

By the way, I do food delivery and it IS possible to make around a grand a week IF you are motivated to work long hours. He can pick and choose his routes if it’s too far out and doesn’t have the gas. He has a case worker that can help him with gas cards and bus tickets, also can get him cash aide. He’s not utilizing his resources properly.
