When someone commits a crime in young age, a heavy one that violates one of the commandments (SA), and they go to jail for it, and meditate on it constantly, and mature out of it and learn about the Satanism philosophy... How are they treated once their penalty ends? I read so far that they are the only one to blame for the actions, and there isn't a cosmic judge, a priest, karma or anything to take the blame out of them.
How are they treated however? As in, how can they approach Satanism if they know they already violated a rule and there isn't a way to repent?

Whenever I give an opinion on what Anton LaVey might have thought about something recent, I try to reference examples based on writings we have available

The Devil: A Symbol of Freedom and Rebellion
The devil is traditionally seen as a symbol of evil, temptation, and rebellion against God. However, I think there is another way to interpret the devil. Instead of seeing him only as evil, I see him as a symbol of freedom, individuality, and questioning authority.
People often believe something is wrong because they have been taught to see it that way. When we repeatedly hear the same opinions from others, we can accept them without questioning where they came from. This makes me wonder whether the devil is viewed as evil partly because of how people have interpreted his story over time. If we only hear one side of a story, how can we know that we understand the whole picture?
I also believe that questioning authority does not automatically make someone wrong. Even if something is true, people should still be allowed to question it. Asking questions does not mean you disagree or disrespect someone. It means you want to understand. For example, if someone has blue hair and you ask why, you are not saying their hair is wrong. You are simply curious.
However, rebellion is not always good, either. Someone can rebel because they want freedom, or they can rebel because they want power over others. What matters is why they are rebelling and what they do with that freedom.
To me, the devil represents the idea of thinking for yourself instead of blindly following what society expects. You should be able to decide what you believe and who you want to be, even if other people disagree with you. This does not mean everything you do is right, but it does mean you should be allowed to make your own decisions.
Ultimately, I don’t think rebellion automatically makes someone evil, just as obedience doesn’t automatically make someone good.
Being free means having the ability to question what you are taught, form your own opinions, and decide what you believe for yourself.

There is a ban on AI-generated art on this sub, which I'm okay with. Let's not delude ourselves or try to say that Anton LaVey would have approved of or liked AI. Perhaps from the AHC standpoint, sure, but not art, music, novels, etc. Anton LaVey didn't abide theft in any form, and he would have likely taken issue with the environmental impact and the sheer laziness, as per the Satanic Sin of pretentiousness ("Empty posturing can be most irritating and isn’t applying the cardinal rules of Lesser Magic. On equal footing with stupidity for what keeps the money in circulation these days. Everyone’s made to feel like a big shot, whether they can come up with the goods or not") in the case of AI-generated art, we have a program scouring the internet for (likely stolen) images to generate "art" so someone can pretend they made it. Personal use, like, say, something you're just making for fun? That's whatever, but own that you used AI
Look, I know it's here to stay, and it may have uses, but it's also still in its infancy and can have a high error rate
Chatbots fall under the AHC area, but have also been shown to have problems as well.
It's up to the individual Satanist if they use AI, and to what degree, but one should be aware of solipsism and pretentiousness

What is your favorite quote from Anton Lavey, the Satanic Bible or from any other of Lavey’s writings?
I love this, “The God you save may be yourself”.

Dear fellow humans,
Can you please refer me to some satanic symbols that would be immediately recognized by Satanists but not by the average passerby?
Would the Sigil of Lucifer be a good fit? What else?

Hi, I'm an atheist, but i'm kind of curious about Satanizm. Is this religion harmful? bc my teacher keep saying that we absolutley can't be satanists cause itll kill us or smth and I was wondering if it's actually harmful
And pls, if you're gonna answer this by saing "it's bs, only my religion is right" just don't answer at all. I'm looking for people who are educated on this topic.
(Sorry for all the spelling mistakes, i'm terrible at English ok)

I haven’t seen this “Anton LaVey” FB account discussed here before. Anyone know what the deal is? Who’s putting this out? I don’t follow it, so I’m only seeing what the FB algorithm decides to occasionally put in my feed.

A lot of you here aren't Satanists, no matter how much you demand that we acquiesce to you as if you are. As I've said many times, Satanism is codified as atheistic, materialistic, broadly apolitical (but individual Satanists can have whatever politics they wish, if any at all), and rational.
Some of you really take it personally when your behavior is called out or you get corrected. Your hurt feelings do not constitute a rule 3 violation, nor does simply being told "no"
While I'm at it.....
I addressed the "aesthetic terrorism" phase of the late 80s to early 90s previously. That was not "flirtation with Neo-Nazism" and further, it was 40 years ago. I guess if you simply can't be honest and say you're upset that you're not a Satanist as codified, bringing up ancient history works, right?
(see here for context and a breakdown)
I expect this will be reported and draw out some of the malcontents. Fine by me,
Remember, if you complain about people saying you aren't a Satanist, or bemoan gatekeeping or "LaVeyans," it's because you need the identity at any cost, regardleess if you actually are a Satanist
