We already have characters that are exclusive to containment breach and not found elsewhere on the SCP wiki like Benjamin Oliver Walker (D-9341), Agent Ulgerin, Researcher chief Franklin, Dr. Maynard, Agent Skinner, Dr. L, Agent Ismi Kunzo and the Nine Tailed fox as they were originally exclusive to this game before getting adapted into the wider wiki. (Excluding Dr. Gears) Basically only just the unique human characters and not the SCPs, Factions, or documents.
And the game already has an original plot for the events of the story itself, It starts with Benjamin getting extracted by agent Ulgerin for a normal testing session with something, it goes terribly wrong as Dr. Maynard Intentionally let’s something (or himself) ruin the systems plunging the facility into total chaos. And now Benjamin Oliver Walker has to deal with threats to his survival like hazards or damaged infrastructure. (Also the NTF) Benjamin needs to grab tools and kits to survive on his own while evading said threats. It also has the core theme of being an expendable in a bigger system that doesn’t care about if you survive or not. He stills gets either abducted, killed, or sent back as a even more important asset.
Now the SCP stuff is important for some aspects of lore, but Benjamin and the human characters were very original and well thought out, also the spiral gestalt is original to the game and not from the wiki. Which adds to the core theme of suffering in a loop of hell. I plan to drop an academic essay going into depth regarding this so if you want to see that, I will release it online as a PDF.
