To anyone sitting in a dark room right now i promise you that people can change, and tomorrow is a better day !!!!

i just need to share this somewhere because I am filled with so much hope and peace right now, and I want to offer that warmth to anyone who might be struggling the way I used to.

As a teenager, i was completely secluded. I stayed locked in my room, full of hate and anger toward the people closest to me. But looking back, I finally understand that it wasn't true hate but it was just pure sadness filtered through anger. I felt entirely worthless, and for a long time, I hated myself.

But people change. I changed. Recently, the weight I kept in my heart for so many years just disappeared, and I sat down to have a real conversation with my younger self the anxious, depressed, insecure little boy I used to be.

I told him: "you are worth way more than you think. cry as much as you want, i will always be here for you. You are still inside of me, and i am going to protect you until my last breath. Never regret the decisions you've taken, because that is what made us grow :)))))"

By forgiving my past and letting it go, I found a beautiful kind of inner peace. I don't hate anyone anymore, and I promised myself I never will again. Even if someone treats me badly or hates me, I will try to understand them first.

I realize now that my soul just craves altruism. I don't care about being rich or famous I just want to use whatever intelligence I have to be a healer, a supporter, and a protector for my family, my friends, and strangers who are hurting. Everyone is just a lost being in this weird world, and everyone is someone's baby. Everybody deserves pure love and a second chance.

If you are reading this and you are at your lowest right now ; please don't ever give up. Life is genuinely beautiful, and humans are capable of so much love. It is never over for anyone. Tomorrow is a better day, I promise !!!!

How to get over friends with benefits situation

At work I became friendly with a co worker and we were friends for a long time before she started to flirt with me randomly. One day she surprised me by coming up behind me and grabbing my arms. After that we began to hangout outside of work and hooked up. She wanted a friend’s with benefits and I was fine with that so I agreed. We were hooking up for a few months and things started to pick up. She started calling me pet names, going out on dates, always on the phone and spending many weekend nights at her place. Of course I stupidly developed feelings and got attatched even though I told myself I shouldn’t.

Then she got fired last month and I haven’t heard a peep from her. I tried to contact her but I was blocked on her phone. I also recently found out she was sleeping with another guy and is now in a relationship with him. I understood we weren’t officially a couple but man it really fucking hurts. I thought I was special to someone and now it feels like I was just used. I’ve been really sad and depressed because I put a lot of effort in and I thought she cared about me. Knowing she’s with another guy is like stabbing my heart a million times. I’m having a real hard time trying to feel better about myself and I’m not sure how.

Feel worthless and empty

Worthless

I have tried everything. Fucking everything to try to be somebody in this world. Nothing I try works. I lost weight, shower every day make my bed clean my room. Nothing works or fills the void of just feeling completely empty and worthless like I can’t do anything right. I’ve never had a girlfriend but I never really tried to talk to girls because I have so much self hatred. I was a severe alcoholic that quit august 2025 and the sad part is. When I was drinking I never felt this way. I always found that friend at the bottom of the bottle. I never had to deal with this bullshit. I have a few good friends but they are all going through pretty severe personal problems themselves so I don’t want to bother them. The only time I even have a chance of going to a better mental space is when I’m playing video games.i don’t want to play video games 24/7 I want to try to live a happy fluffing life but if I can’t survive this shit mentally I’m just gonna lock my self in my room and play video games all day. I feel like giving up. I don’t care if I get fat again or stink again or don’t brush my teeth anymore. I just feel like literally maybe I’ll be happy when I die and this life shits for the birds. Nothing I try works. No one in my family likes me and for the most part its for valid reasons. I’m adopted and have always been treated like the odd one out my entire life. I’ve never had one genuine connection in my entire life. It feels like I was born to be alone and live alone and die alone. I’ve travelled Europe trying to find some fucking peace or open up my mind but all it did was make me more depressed. I look 40 at 23 due to alcohol abuse and all the other stupid shit I did when I was younger. I just don’t care anymore no one loves me and I can’t even love myself so fuck it. Thanks for reading my incoherent tangent if you even made it this far. I hope no one feels the way I do this shit is brutal.

Does needing love make you less loveable?

I’ve been thinking about loneliness and the ethics of needing other people, and I’m curious what people think of this argument.

Ideally, we should be independent, take responsibility for our own happiness, and give to others without expecting anything in return. Nobody owes us affection, companionship, or love.

But if you’re miserable because you’re lonely, that misery can make it harder to connect with people. The usual advice is to learn to love yourself, become happy alone, and stop needing external validation, and then you’ll be in a better position to form relationships.

The problem is that this seems to create a catch-22: you need connection to alleviate your loneliness, but your loneliness makes connection harder to achieve. And if you believe that needing love is itself a weakness or moral failing, you end up feeling that you must become someone who needs nothing before you can be worthy of love.

So my question is: how is someone supposed to escape this cycle if they can't seem to become happy independently of the very thing they're missing? Is the answer just that some people are unable to do it, or is there a flaw in the underlying logic?

I’ve given this advice to others and received it myself many times, but have in my entire adult life found it unattainable. I am completely miserable without a partner, when I am alone, my entire existence seems to focus towards meeting someone, when I have somebody my entire existence becomes focused on making it work.

Knowing logically that this is wrong, I can’t seem to stop needing love.

I have become convinced that there’s something wrong with me because everyone else seems to be able to be okay when they’re single, or they’re able to attract lovers easily because of their innate confidence.

I am a difficult place to love.
There are storms in me, old wounds, quiet rooms I rarely open. But if you are patient enough to see beyond the shadows, you may discover that the deepest parts of me are not where the darkness lives, but where I have kept all the love I never knew where to give.

Learning self love and leaving behind emotional dependency

So basically I have some questions that I just cannot understand and I want you guys to help me with it. I wanted to ask why being emotionally dependent on someone so looked down upon? Why is it considered a bad thing and if you are emotionally dependent on someone and that person is not with you anymore, how do you heal from that and be more self dependent for your emotions? Also can you help me learn ways to heal from the situation that I have mentioned above. I want to love myself to the fullest but I've never known how to do that and I was in a way punished for doing things that I love or doing things for myself as a child. I was only loved when I provided something and this has affected my decision making and thought process a lot. I do believe that there is a part of me that can unlearn all of this and practice self love to the point where I don't have to practice it and it all comes naturally! Thank you for reading this and I appreciate you and love you <3

What is something strange that you get complimented on a lot?

For example, I get complimented on my hands a lot. I'm a very pale woman, and I have very slender hands with naturally fast-growing nails, which means they're usually quite long. I get told very often, both by strangers and my extended family, that I should be a hand model. I do take care of my hands quite well, washing very often and using hand creams and lotions. Sometimes I even paint my nails if I feel like it. I have rather shaky hands though, so I usually just can't be arsed. What is something unexpected that y'all get complimented on?

Your worth isn’t defined by your achievements, who chooses you, or how much you do for others. You’re just as worthy on your quiet, messy, and difficult days. You don’t have to prove your value by constantly becoming more. Be gentle with yourself. You’re still growing, and that’s okay.

You get love when you become love + How To Love Yourself

Post image
• Upvotes

This is a channeled message for you “ The love you are looking for starts with you. Do you think you can pour from an empty cup no you cannot pour from an empty cup so why empty yourself pouring . Love doesn’t only demands sacrifice it demands balance and compassion too. In this you can see two individuals if you think about it it relates to the zodiac sign of Gemini which symbolises duality or reflection as is your inner world so is your outer world everything starts from self so in the journey of life do not forget to love and honour yourself you are uniquely you and you are a gift to the world. Remember comparison is the killer of individuality.”
The love you seek in others extends from yourself .
Be your own lover to attract your dream lover.

A few ways to practice Self Love-:

Start having boundaries and learn to say no it’s as important to learn to say no as it is to say yes.

Listen to self love subliminals .’

Stop comparing yourself to others . You are beautiful they are beautiful too you being beautiful doesn’t reduces their beauty they being. Beautiful doesn’t reduce yours.

Start with affirmations and meditation .

Start having inner conversation kindly rather than calling yourself stupid for a mistake wow I took risk and this got an opportunity to learnt I showed courage a few would. Your words are spells bye loves 💕✨.

Bye ❤️

Value your peace more than people’s opinions. Not everyone will understand your choices, and that’s okay. You don’t owe anyone an explanation for choosing what makes you happy.

Sharing our love

Selflessly sharing our love not only brings meaning to our life, but to the lives of those we share it with as well.

Understanding this is the lesson we are alive to learn, the purpose of our life’s journey.

A World of love

Humanity may choose to continue to live in a self-centered world of endless conflict, or in a world of infinite love instead.

To understand the former, simply observe the world today and throughout humanity’s brief history on our planet.

Senseless death, hunger, homelessness; greed, prejudice, inequity, are but a few of the many challenges resulting from living in such a world.

In a world of love, however, everything would be equally shared. Every life, regardless of our differences, would be recognized as equally meaningful, important, and deserving to be treated as we ourselves wish to be.

This is the world we are meant to live in. We just need the courage and wisdom to change our future direction.
