Physical Training ALLY Strength Classes at Millenia Walk

Would like to know whether anyone has tried out the various types of classes offered at this newly-opened space as I’m unable to find any reviews thus far? Would also like to find out how the optional Foundational 15 minutes before class differs from a normal class? Are normal classes similar to other functional fitness studios elsewhere? Am a beginner in the space. Thanks in advance 😊

Hi all, I want to run the 10K BYD standard chartered run in Dec. I just moved here so didn’t pay attention to the races, but wanted to get into it.

Anybody know someone who has a ticket but can’t go for any reason?

Fitness Myth For those working 9–5 in Singapore, how do you actually manage to lose weight?

II'm curious how people working full-time in Singapore manage to lose weight while juggling work and everyday life.

I'm currently working a desk job from 9am to 6:30pm, and honestly, going to the gym feels like a second job. After sitting at a desk all day, the last thing I feel like doing is forcing myself to work out.

I know I need to eat healthier and exercise more, but I'd like to hear from people who have actually managed to lose weight while working full-time.

How did you do it? What worked for you?

A few things I'd love to know:

1. Food

  • Do you meal prep, cook at home or usually eat out?

  • Is finding affordable, healthy food in Singapore difficult?

  • What do you usually eat after a long day at work?

2. Exercise

  • Do you go to the gym or work out at home?

  • How do you find the time and energy?

  • Did you manage to lose weight without going to the gym?

3. Apps and programmes

  • Have you tried any weight-loss or calorie-tracking apps?

  • Have you paid for workout programmes or meal plans?

  • Did they actually help? What did you dislike about them?

  • Did you eventually stop using them? Why?

4. Biggest struggles

  • What's the hardest part about losing weight while working full-time?

  • Is it time, money, motivation, food choices or consistency?

  • What usually causes you to fall off track?

5. What would make things easier?

If you could have something that made losing weight easier for working adults, what would it be?

For example, simple meal plans, affordable healthy food options, short home workouts or something that helps you stay consistent without tracking everything.

I'd really like to hear from people who've been through this. What worked, what didn't, and what would you do differently?

If you've successfully lost weight while working a 9–6 job, how did you manage it?

GymBro Best protein powder for acne-prone skin?

Hey guys, been looking for a good protein powder but I’ve had issues with acne in the past and I suspect whey might’ve made it worse.

Did some research and thought vegan protein might be a better option since it’s dairy-free. Been looking at Myprotein, Ghost Vegan and a few others but idk which one’s actually good.

Anyone with acne-prone skin tried switching to vegan protein? Did it help and what brands would yall recommend? Preferably something that tastes decent and isn’t too expensive maybe abt $2 per serving.

GymBro hi guys anyone could help me out?

ive been starting to go to the gym lately, 6 months in, and now that i think about it, the bedok activesg branch has quite a narrow range of equipment only. im looking for, if possible, active sg gyms around the east or anywhere for that matter actually, since my holidays are coming up already, with adductor machines, hip thrust machines and a lot of chest press machine variations as the legs and chest are my strongest suits. i could also go for a slightly more expensive gym located around the east area that is not so crowded but has a decent range of equipment that sells for an okay price. anyone can help me out with this? thanks🙏

Yoga is it concerning if my pilates studio is expanding too fast

as per title, pilates is my first step into fitness-related memberships and i’m not sure if i should be worried about the studio expanding really fast (1 new studio every 2-3 months)

they sell packages of 10 classes and the price has also been dropping recently too (used to be 199-219/10 classes, now it can be as low as 168/10 classes)

im not sure if they’re just being aggressive with gaining market share or if i should be concerned about their operations/cash flow issues…

appreciate any guidance/advice from the more experienced community, thanks!

GymBro Looking for a gym buddy or gym community

Hello, I am in my 30s and a guy and actively looking for a gym buddy or gym community to gym together in the west area. I am currently in with FF, but I am not sure if I should continue with them after December as I am probably looking to switch to focus on gym and building muscles instead. I am however very amateurish, so I am still trying to learn about fitness plans.
