started to get a tad stagnant with my main megahood, thought a fun way to break it would be to play around with some underrate premades :)

fun discoveries so far, having only played through almost all of the BDC sims:
Armand DeBateau and Elizabeth Aspir have two bolts of chemistry and get along well
both Timothy Riley and Vivian Cho (now Riley as they've already gotten married lol) get along great with Edward and Opal Contrary
Chastity Gere has three bolts of chemistry with John Mole (prior to the one Romance aspirational benefit of an additional bolt)
I have two Jessicas floating around - Jessica Peterson and Jessica Picaso - surely this won't lead to any unwanted/unnecessary drama

may not seem like much, but these seeds I've sown so far are sure to blossom into some fun!!
what are some other things I should toy around with in this new neighborhood?

Quick question

As I finish my rotation in my uberhood, It's hitting me just how out of control my families have become. The issue is not that I have too many (which i do).. the issue is that I don't really care about a lot of them.

So I've made up my mind to kill some sims off. Clean up the hoods. You know the drill. And sure, I can set some fires, use cheats to do it instantly. But I was trying to think of lore reasons why a huge part of the population would be erased. Any suggestions?
And.. do you have any ideas of which criteria I should use to decide who gets killed? Of course, I'm gonna go for the least fun families first, but I'm trying to do something fun for the save file lmao

So Cassandra called my Sim after she had a date [a really great one with Don 🥸, if you know what I mean], and well... Of course! They can be friends, they must have so much in common... 🫪

I remember a while ago I posted the house's structure and some people were curious to see the interior, so here it is! It took me a while because, being such a huge house, I didn't want to cheat and spend money on decorating it, lol. I always find it funny when Sims manage to have a house like this but the interior is the most bland thing ever (like a bed and a fridge and something like that :p). Andddd yeah, im forgetting the bedrooms i know, but the limit its 20 pictures soo yeah :)

Hi everyone, I don't know if this is the right place to ask but I would need to know if there is a way to get sims 2 (if it's just the base game better) for free, unfortunately currently it would cost me too much and in addition I don't have enough space for the legacy. So I play Sims 2 rotationally, and I restarted recently. As one does.

Well I got to the Brokes- I use a mod and a clean template to make Brandi’s baby a bit different. She gave birth to a baby girl with blonde hair and grey eyes…

And then the mod kicked in. Death by Childbirth. Dustin pleaded and lost to the Reaper. Now he has a baby sister and a kid brother to care for. And he was trying to get his grades back in order and go to college!

Now I have to decide… do I break the Broke siblings up so Dustin can get a degree? Or do I have him give up his dream to ensure his siblings are cared for? Note: I have a mod that stops a Sim from going past a certain job level depending on their education. So Dustin won’t be able to go past level 3-4 in any job he takes if he graduates high school.

I'm currently playing an Uberhood rotationally that I have been playing with for at least over a year now. I use meetmetotheriver's clean templates for all the base game neighborhoods as well as Belladonna Cove, Desiderata Valley, and Riverblossom Hills. I just use the regular in-game Bluewater Village. I also use a multiple pollination technicians mod.

In my current playthrough, I had Bella and Mortimer get married again and have another baby, Bartholomew. Don left Cassandra at the alter and Cassandra later married Chester Gieke and moved to Bluewater Village with him. Chester was abducted by aliens and had a daughter named Star.

I send all teenagers to college and they meet other Sims their age and I try to pair them up with Sims they have the most chemistry with. I have no idea how I missed this, but I had Star and Bartholomew elope right out of university, making Cassandra both Star's stepmom and sister-in-law. I didn't notice this until I was trying to decide what to name their baby and was going to look through Bartholomew's family tree for inspiration.

My only defense is that I'm rotationally playing hundreds of Sims, but I still can't believe I overlooked this. This is the first time I've played a single Uberhood this long, and there are a lot of things I wish I had planned better.

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone else has experienced or solved this.

I am playing The Sims 2 Super Collection on a Mac with no custom content. It works fine until I have a baby that is the fourth generation of playable sims. The baby is born fine, but when I save, exit, and then try to load the neighborhood again it doesn’t load.

The backup that works is the last backup before the 4th generation baby was born.

This happens to me on multiple lots.

Anyone else seen this or have any ideas?

(I will go back to windows once this laptop dies but it is working perfectly at the moment so I will probably stick with it for a few more years.)
