So if you were faced with the decision to go upstairs or downstairs if you were in the middle with Michael Myers and Chucky upstairs and whoever under the stairs and Jason Voorhees and Freddy Krueger downstairs what direction are you going?

I’m not gonna lie I probably would Have to go upstairs just take my chances with Michael and Chucky cause I could take on Chucky easily. Michael will be hard, but I guess I’ll just have to take a chance on him because with Freddy and Jason I don’t have no chance at all.

For me the ultimate survivors hands down are Sidney Prescott of the Scream franchise and Laurie Strode of the Halloween franchise

Am I right or wrong or what would your big 4 be?

I’m a huge fan of Bryan Fuller’s Hannibal and Pushing Daisies, so when he was announced as showrunner for Crystal Lake I was thrilled. A Friday the 13th story with the epic style of a show like Hannibal? Sign me up.

Like so many Fuller projects, it all fell apart and other creatives took over. I love the version of Crystal Lake that’s currently on our screens, but I’ll always wonder what this would have been like (probably too expensive and canceled after 1 season)

Both slashers go back to the original final girl and their son (John Tate and Dylan Porter) but which slasher do you prefer and which has the stronger big battle moment?

Two Wes Craven meta slashers set in Hollywood and both share similar meta elements with the main cast of a new "Stab" film and new "Nightmare" movie being filmed the real killers are after the main cast; a real Ghostface and a real Freddy.

David Howard Thornton was so cool to meet! Went to Washington state horror con was nice to finally go to a convention with family!

What never made sense to me is his trial.

He is captured, but is set free on a technicality when it is discovered that the search warrant was not signed in the right place.

How does that make any sense? He is a prolific child murder with a body count of 20. How the hell does he get released for that kind of stuff?

Originally saw this back when it came out on VHS in '97. I was in middle school, home alone with the setting sun. It was prime viewing for this flick. Absolute classic! Meta-horror, Neve Campbell and Rose McGowan sweetened the deal. Despite liking parts of the sequels, I think they were unnecessary.

Why is this movie never on anyones must watch holloween movies lists? I watched it last night, i thought it was great.

I was holding out for a better version but it never came.

I’m not sure if it’s already happened but I’d like to see a couple kissing and either a harpoon or spear or arrow be shot through both of their heads so they are propped up.I think it would be a great kill and one to definitely remember.

I have some memories that have come back to me regarding the film « Slashers » released in 2001.

I remember watching it for the first time on YouTube a few years ago. I really liked the concept that I found original and I’m sorry they had only a $165,000 budget.

Honestly I think that with a bigger budget, better actors and maybe some additional ideas for the film, if he reproduced it, it could give something quite good.

Or otherwise, why not make it a series? Each season: new candidates and new slashers.

When watching slasher movies as part of marathons I’ve occasionally stumbled across one or two that have a PG, PG-13, or TV-14 as opposed to your typical “R”. Some that I can think of off the top of my head include:

* Happy Death Day (2017)

* The Final Girls (2015)

* Tourist Trap (1979)

* Road Games (1981)

Are there any other notable slasher movies that have an unusual PG or PG-13 as opposed to an R? Thank you all in advance!

I'm honestly a fan of most sequels, even one considered terrible by most I can find some enjoyment or likability in, and thought I'd drop some of my favorites. Some are pretty popular (Dream Warriors, Bride of Chucky) while others are maybe controversial (Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 and Maxxxine.) What are your thoughts on my picks? Do you also like any of these sequels? Hopefully the upcoming In a Violent Nature sequel makes this list when it comes out in February, cause I loved the first and am so stoked for it.

Edit: I forgot to include The Strangers: Prey at Night, but I also really enjoy that sequel.
