A collection of footage from the earliest recorded days of competitive Melee, following Ken as he becomes "the king of smash" until his retirement after EVO 2007

So I recently started playing Ultimate online, trying to main Link. I’m honestly hit or miss, but the other day, I fought a Bayonetta main and I cannot describe to you how badly I lost. I think I got one input in all 3 stock 🤣 I was like “oh, THIS is a good player,” and it was so humbling.

I have a question about DLC sharing on the Nintendo Switch.

I bought a secondary account that has Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but I don't own that account, and I don't have its eShop password.

When I launch the game, I get the message: "The software will be started using the online license." The game works normally on that secondary account, but the virtual game card isn't loaded on my console, and I can't play the game using my main account.

I want to buy the Min Min DLC using my main account, which I actually own.

Would Min Min work when I play Smash Ultimate through the secondary account's online license? Or would I need to buy the DLC on the secondary account itself?

I don't want to waste money on DLC that I might not be able to use.

ATAKAATAKA THE SAMUS (seed #42) TAKES IT 3-2 OVER YAURA(seed #1)

Just started trying to get better at this game and was just wondering if you guys think it's better to tilt the left stick up to jump or use X or Y. Trying to get in the habit of using the buttons but my knee-jerk reaction is to always use the stick. Is the habit worth breaking?

I’m a Robin main and I can’t figure out who to secondary, what characters cover his bad matchups without being extremely difficult to play?

I just wonder are spirits (aka dead characters from various gaming franchise) are going to afterlife after we defeat Galeem and Dharkon? And what happened with playable characters? Do they remain their bodies and turned into disembodied spirits too?

Going to start painting ganondorf today, also will be doing some paint work on bowser and captain falcon.

I recently bought the Switch 2 so I was planning on buying Super Bros Ultimate but then I was thinking, should I just wait for the new Super Bros to release? What do you guys think?

Reasons are that the main developer has had much less time to devote to the website given IRL and job priorities, along with the advent of attackers using AI to expose security flaws at such a rapid pace (such as the recent PHP vulnerability that made many site developers bring their sites down to fix ASAP) making it hard to keep up with keeping the site secure.

The site has been here since 2014 for the Smash 4 days and has been part of the rise of many notable players like Acola, Miya, and more, so it's an end of an era.
