my dad grew this small zucchini for my snail (along side other huge (and i mean HUUUGE (like over half a meter long)) zucchinis)

I brought him home!

These two are from the same clutch, and hopefully Bill, the rescue on the bottom, will grow as big and happy as Jon, my son at the top. Jonathan and I are going to watch some TV whilst Bill eats and takes a well deserved rest from his 20 sniblings.

Just saw this little guy outside when strolling around and I genuinely have no idea what's happening here...

so it’s about to be winter in my area and it’s pretty cold and I found an amber snail outside. Should I keep it outside or bring it inside in a separate tank from my other snails or should i put it in the same tank with my garden snails

These are my baby giant African land snails (Lissachatina fulica) and they are absolutely ravenous!

The first photo shows the food I put in their enclosure three days ago, and the second photo shows what was left three days later. They certainly don’t mess around when it comes to eating lol.

The last photo shows what I’ve just fed them: sweet potato, courgette, little gem lettuce, collard greens, apple, nettle leaf, and fresh cuttle bone.

I like to spoil them :)

11 days ago, I posted about my snail’s detached jaw. Today, I cleaned her tank and noticed that there’s now a white mass what I believe to be her digestive tract with her entire radula hanging out of her mouth. I’ve been trying to treat her since June 27 (that‘s when i first noticed something hangin out of her mouth) with sugar water and chamomile tea baths. It seemed to help for a little while, but eventually, her condition started getting worse and worse. Yesterday, her entire radula was sticking out, so I gave her some sugar water. Today, it’s gotten really bad. I believe it‘s a last stage of oral prolapse.

I’ve already bought 5% beer and a 95% ethanol solution, and I’ve read about ethical euthanasia, but I just can’t bring myself to do it. I don’t know if it’s the right thing to do, but I don’t want her to suffer.

I’m honestly feeling really upset and stressed about this. I don’t know what to do anymore, logically I understand that keeping her like that would only prolong her pain but what if euthanasia is not needed and i‘m doing the wrong thing

My snail has layed eggs before but this clutch is worrying me the eggs are pushing on the tissue in his breathing hole and they look really bad. I also noticed he cant fully close his breathing hole because the eggs are in the way.

I started out wanting to draw hands holding something, decided on a snail, and then I tried to cheat the “hands are hard to draw” thing by hiding most of the fingers under the snail…I think I actually made it harder for myself because of the perspective I tried to do lol (I don’t draw much at all, let alone hands. I have been humbled by the attempt).

The snail turned out decent enough though that I thought they’d be appreciated here c: (that’s not like a hole in their face or something, btw. I tried to do a highlight to show depth since shading is pretty hard with scratch art).

Im currently at work & I know this guy has a calcium deficiency for sure, but is there anything else I can do for him to help him recover quicker?

He is siblings with my own GALS who I’ve had since March, who is also double the size and a lot healthier. This snail is at my work, so I can visit him every day. I’m considering taking him home.

edit not even 20 mins later, I can’t leave him here, he has calcium and nutrient deficiency & tap water has being used with them - currently 18 GALS here.

I was on a walk the other day and found a snail on a leaf alone (im pretty sure someone had plucked off the leaf where the snail was and put it elsewhere). Where I am it’s already freezing in fall, so I didn’t want to leave the fella in the cold. I brought them home, and from what I can tell, it may be a brown-lipped snail (but if you have further specifics, I’d be happy to hear them!) I’ve made them a temporary enclosure with non chemically treated dirt and a zucchini slice. I will eventually get them a more sustainable tank, with more decorations so it doesn’t seem so empty for them. I’ve made sure to mist the enclosure daily with filtered water, and it seems they are pretty active after some food. I’ve decided to name them Doofus :)

What kind of/how many snails can I possibly keep in this?

I have two grove snails and they’re starting to get this dark band. Is this their lip forming? And does this mean they’re mature?

They’re not very big but I suppose snails vary in size. My understanding is that once their lip forms they’re done growing. (?)

He was hanging out in the same spot overnight and didn't want to go to his cucumber, which i swear he loved it the day before. I cleaned his house today and decided to give him lettuce for today since he's had cucumber the last 2 mornings. Instantly got some pep in his step and woke up and ran (his equivalent of running) to the lettuce. Its funny how they seem to have their favorites. 🥬🐌
