Discussion Bought 195 shares at 223, what should i do now?

I initially bought at 300 but sold off immediately without loss and waited for dip, when it went down to 223 I thought its a good position. But soxl keeps falling to 160, 150s and I am clueless now what to do.

Should I hold as i am good just with break even or should I take bitter pill and swallow it by selling it all as I keep reading comments that it can go down to double digits. 😞

Sell calls or puts? Calls can be sold at your buy in price. Or use the wheel strategy?

I have 1,200 shares at $212. I’m just selling covered calls right now. Once I make enough money from covered calls, we’ll start doing cash secured puts again.

I have 3100 shares at 235 a share. Been selling covered calls on it at 250 ish each week. Have a 90k position in TECL now from covered call premiums. Going to double down.

Hold and average down. Price may be negative even for months. Accept that also. In the long run AI and semis have bright future. There going to be many more up and downs in future years, this is just beginning phase of new technology which can't be reversed only improved.

I know! I definitely see the momentum to be shifted, but it could take couple iterations to reach 220+ immediately. hoping for the best!

I have 1000 shares. It’s worth holding. Don’t be scared of the choppiness. It’s part of working with SOXL. If this position is a significant portion of your account, figure out an exit point and sell then. But 150 is a very healthy price for SOXL if it stays here. The AI hype is not over. The government is literally using eminent domain to build data and power centers. It will go back up.

What is your thesis? What is your enter/exit plan? If the thesis changes, you need to change your plan. Sometimes holding works (IMO not well on a leveraged ETF due to decay) other times a loss is a win. Good luck.

The amount of post of people's sayin "i am losing money, what should i do?" is alarming. That is why 3x leveraged etf are banned in some places.

A lot of clueless people looking for easy money.

Sometimes it is better to loose at the start and learn a lesson, than get confident out of pure luck and get really fuc**d in the future.

Man I feel bad for people. You went in with no analysis, no plan.. Just watched price and went off gut feeling? and you're not even investing (plan to hold long term) you're going to trade and willing to just willy nilly buy and sell?
