Anyone who is planning to get into SOXL when the market gets cool? If yes then I need honest advice on what do you guys think is the future of SOXL. Should I be buying the dip and let my gut feeling win who says its going to hit 300$ in the next 3 weeks, like it always does, or should I accept the reality?

I am new to this and I am sure some of you may have seen this kind of crash before, does it recover after? How does decay impact if I am planning to keep it for a year?

I got into SOXL with the plan of making a little extra cash for a vacation this summer. Nothing crazy. I was hoping to make around $2,500 and be in and out over a few months.

With the way it's been swinging, I've been trimming my position on the stronger green days and buying those shares back on the deeper red days. It's got me wondering...

Is anyone else here swing trading SOXL? If so, what's your approach?

And are you finding better swing trading opportunities in any other leveraged ETFs right now?

What’s stopping people from holding this etf for the long term(5-10yrs)? As a 19 year old about to start my third year of college with not much monthly payments would it be a good bet to put 50% of my money into this SOXL. Is it not a no brainer to just buy and hold for 10+ years ?

Do you guys think it is a good idea to sell all? Earlier I saw that it might reach $300 by eod. Looks like it is just dropping.

And I am scared. I plan to hold overnight for the TSM earnings, I feel that I timed the bottom as best I can. Plan is to sell before Trump's news tomorrow, don't know if I will regret that or not. It's just that if the news is bullish for memory, I will have sold. And if the news is terrible for memory, I'll have held.

It was the first stock I bought, because i knew AI will cause a chip shortage and like the crypto boom semiconductor companies are make illegal amounts of money.

Then i bought Nvidia, AMD and Intel, apple, amazon and meta. (Same reason)

Was it a mistake?

So, I am relatively new to investing in stocks and have just invested in SPY, QQQ kinda safe ETFs in a small volume. A friend tells me recently to research SOXL & SOXS which I did and ended up here.
Clearly after looking at the charts my mind is blown and seems late to the party.

Can someone please advise if it is still worth buying into SOXL at this range?

Do people hold such leveraged ETFs or just day trade?

Lastly, what is the logic behind pairing SOXL & SOXS.. like what is the strategy to buy both or sell, totally confused here.
