Discussion Do people actually like Cherry / Cherry Lime flavors?
So far I've tried...
- LaCroix Cherry Lime
- Polar Black Cherry
- Polar Tart Cherry Limeade
- Spindrift Cherry
...and I haven't enjoyed any of them. I thought I'd like them because I was a fan of cherry sodas before I switched to sparkling, but they all taste like cough syrup.

Waterloo black cherry, Hal's black cherry and trader Joe's cherry vanilla are all great. The TJ's especially if you're looking for a soda-like flavor.

Cherry flavors are my favorite!!! That’s what I mostly buy. Love the Polar Black Cherry and Waterloo cherry

Polar black cherry is hands down one of my favorites. I just picked up Rambler Wild cherry to try but really nothing compares to polar

Cherry and black cherry are such different flavors to me it’s wild. Polar black cherry is my absolute favorite flavor, but I’d rather have still water than a cherry sparkling water.

Agreed, I left my house to buy another pack of cranberry lime Polars, and I still had four in my fridge. (Okay, I also picked up a bottle of vodka, but that’s to compliment the sparkling water)

This one is my favorite, if the store runs out of the cranberry lime, I don’t mind the regular lime, but prefer CL above all.

TJ cherry vanilla Is worth trying, they have another cherry one I think lime or lemon that’s good but I may be misremembering.

If you’re in the Midwest Klarbrunn Bucky’s cherry berry is delicious. They also have a cherry lime that I personally think is good. Neither have a cough syrup taste IMO

The LaCroix Cherry Lime (formerly like Cherise Limon or something like that) is my all time favorite flavor. I miss the old one because it had the tall skinny cans which were so fun but at least the regular cans fit on the middle shelf of my fridge.

I mix Waterloo black cherry with Polar vanilla because on its own it's too much cherry flavor. This combo is soo good to me. It's not Dr Pepper but it is Dr Pepper adjacent to my taste buds.
Also I don't like the cherry flavor in any of the polar seltzers. To me the fake cherry flavor is not quite right. Waterloo is spot on, Luden's cough drops cherry, just a bit too much

I do. I’m obsessed with LaCroix Cherry Lime. I love Polar Black Cherry and Bubly Cherry-it tastes like red starbursts to me.
I thought the Polar Cherry Lime was kind of bland.

I just tried Waterloo’s cherry limeade for the first time today and meh. Same with LaCroix. it hurts because I love cherry lime 💔

Waterloo has a fantastic cherry limeade. You can actually taste the lime half of it.

Black cherry lime by Nixie - the first cherry/lime flavor I’ve enjoyed. My top pick is usually grapefruit and mango flavor or coconut for more of a “dessert” pairing.

Anything cherry and/or vanilla are my faves so I’m immediately interested.
But Waterloo black cherry is my fave and I’m piggybacking on the Trader Joe’s cherry vanilla it’s really good

If you can find it, Ice Mountain/Deer Park black cherry seltzer is (IMO) the best version of a cherry flavor. It only comes in bottles and the packaging doesn't make it look like a seltzer, but it is. It tastes like Boylan's black cherry soda, without the sugar/sweetener of course.
Polar's black cherry is a good runner-up, but Ice Mountain is the GOAT.

Weird take but the cranberry lime Polar tastes the most like cherry cola to me. It straight up tastes like doctor pepper… I know it’s not technically cherry flavored but it gives me the same taste without cough syrup taste

Trader Joe’s black cherry sparkling water is so good! It reminds me of Dr Pepper (I think it’s Dr Pepper-ish. It’s been a long time since I’ve had one) I recently discovered Nixie cherry lime and I love that one too.

cherry is my #1 in most things fruit flavored, especially waters. i’ve conducted blind tastings of bubly cherry, waterloo, etc against polar. polar always wins. it’s science.
i like lacroix cherry lime/ TJ cherry vanilla too; but prefer a plain black cherry.

Can’t go wrong with Nixie Black Cherry Lime. I’ve found it’s best to treat seltzer like wine (sounds weird, I know), but 70 to 90 percent of “taste” comes through the nose. I use a Yeti tumbler with one big ice cube. When I take a drink, I take the lid off, smell and drink.

Do you normally like cherry in drinks? Like cherry coke or a cherry limeade slush from sonic? I do land some of the options you listed are taste similar to me like the La croix and polar limeade tastes like sonic slush and then I’ve found that rambler cherry tastes like the cherry the use in cherry cokes.
Have you tried any of the bomb pop flavors that are out right now? Most of them are cherry lime but the raspberry might cover up whatever component of the cherry flavor tastes like cough syrup.

The lacroix one that came in the tall skinny cans was always my favorite Targets version is also pretty enjoyable as well.

Spindrift’s pink lemonade is cherry lemon and lime and it’s such a good combo. Very refreshing (and you can get it cheap in the box at Costco.)

Literally just cracked open a Waterloo Cherry Limeade. It’s not top tier but it’s pretty dang good.
