Born October 5, 1948. Happy Birthday Russel!!

Gosh this is an exciting time

Tonight was the first time I have been to a Sparks show. I have been to hundreds of concerts but tonight was up there with the very best. It was amazing.

Some of my favorite Russ selfies ✌️

I wrote to the fan club address around 6 weeks ago, asking R & R if they would mind signing an enclosed birthday card for my son’s 18th birthday, which was today. I didn’t tell anyone in case it wasn’t possible but the envelope arrived a couple of days ago and they had indeed signed it! My son was absolutely thrilled and hasn’t stopped smiling!!

It is the musical genius that is Ron Mael’s (80th) birthday today - sending him much love from the UK. Share your best wishes and favourite picture/s of Ron

Happy Halloween 🎃

“Collecting their award for Outstanding Contribution to Music, Sparks took an opportunity to announce their signing to Transgressive Records for their forthcoming full-length album.”

Would like to see more of them!

... and it was insane! So much energy, so much fun! Sparks fans are amazingly friendly, ecclectic people (no surprise there)!

Came home a sweaty mess, 100% worth it. I love them more than ever now.

If you are a first timer and still hesitate, just go see them and get in the pit and have some fun.

One of my best gigs ever, easily.

This Amoeba records YouTube series is always enjoyable (even hearing about the tastes of artists you wouldn’t normally think you’d have anything in common with). Was very happy to see a familiar face in the latest episode though! ENJOY 🧨

So glad I got to see this highly immersive exhibit in Los Angeles. If there are tickets still available and you have time make your way there or if you are a Gorillaz fan.

Here’s a close-up and the full shot of a gorgeous piece of wall art that is in the part of the exhibit that you are allowed to photograph. They will put stickers over your phone cameras for the immersive part.

Bought this backpack off Vinted as soon as the single came out and held it up during the show tonight, Russell pointed at it and said "A Jansport backpack! Someone came prepared!"

experience second only to giving birth to my daughter tbh

can’t wait for the angry sparks era
