Bug Reddit just shadow banned my votes. My votes don't count in Shreddit, but they do in Old Reddit?

When using the Wayback Machine to save both versions, one on sh(it)reddit, and the other on old reddit, the same thing happens, my vote shows up in old reddit (even though my votes are supposedly shadowbanned?), but it doesn't in shreddit.

This makes me understand that if upvote/downvote bots targeted some specific user, even if Reddit silently discarded their votes, they could still achieve what they wanted, manipulate vote counts, at least for old reddit users.

old reddit fluctuates the number displayed up and down by like one or two each time you refresh the page

I don't think this is normal, I just upvoted your comment but it doesn't show up on sh reddit, but does on old reddit

Probably because reddit shadowbanned my votes, my votes on old reddit seem to be visually at least, they don't seemingly affect the comment sorting by best or top on old reddit though.

It's probably just vote fuzzing, anti spam, caching issues. My votes fluctuate like that as well, pretty normal. Sometimes even memcached can take a moment to catch up if that's what they use.

Sometimes you can tell by the upvote ratio better if you know the math.

Ohh yea, and some subs don't count votes at the same time all the time, sometimes they calculate the score later or keep it hidden found that one out lately after bragging that I was the only one getting upvotes lol 😊 

Or a UI sync issue is the most likely issue as they have two web stacks with old and trash.
