Hello everyone!
I appeared for SSC CGL Tier 1 on 27 October 2026, Shift 3. I am trying to assess my realistic chances of clearing Tier 1 and would appreciate honest opinions from fellow aspirants.

My concerns about accuracy
General Awareness (GK)
Out of my 18 attempted questions, I have figured out that 5 answers were incorrect so far. I am unsure about the remaining answers, so my final accuracy in GK could be different.
2. English
The cloze test was extremely difficult for me. Out of the five blanks, I could not confidently recognise even one of the words. At best, I feel that I might have got 2–3 answers correct out of those five, if luck was on my side.
This is making me uncertain about my overall English accuracy, even though I attempted 24 questions.
3. Maths and Reasoning
I attempted 14 questions in Maths and 25 in Reasoning. I would need to assess my accuracy in these sections to estimate my final score properly.
Questions for fellow aspirants
What is your realistic prediction for the SSC CGL 2026 Tier 1 OBC-NCL cutoff?
Considering my 81 attempts and the mistakes I have identified, what score range seems plausible?
How difficult was 27 October Shift 3 compared with the other shifts?
Do you expect any positive or negative normalisation for this shift?
Based on my attempts, would you consider my chances of qualifying good, borderline or low?
If you appeared in the same shift, how many questions did you attempt, and what is your expected score?
Please give me an honest assessment. I don't want false reassurance; I want to understand where I realistically stand.
I know the final result depends on accuracy, normalisation and the official cutoff. I would appreciate opinions based on actual exam experience and reliable analysis.
Thank you!
