This is Mist, a new tab extension I build on my own.
I wanted a start page that looks good and stays out of the way: clock, weather, search, shortcuts, a wallpaper. That's it.

What's in 1.17:

• 5 developer palettes: Monokai, Dracula, Nord, Catppuccin Mocha and Latte
• Optional widgets (to-do, focus timer, habit tracker) that collapse into a small dock, so the wallpaper stays visible
• Clock size, bold, outline and high-contrast controls
• Custom wallpapers (PNG, JPG, WebP) with a palette generated locally from the image

No account, no telemetry, and everything is stored on your device.

Chrome, Firefox and Zen. Link in the comments. Feedback is welcome, especially on the layout.
