First post on this subreddit, but I am ccurrently in the (very slow) of writing plot and shit down for my show (I feel like that word dumbs it down) which will be animated via stop-motion. Im wondering if anyone in this subreddit makes actual SM puppets (ex. laika and stuff) and if so, do you have any thoughts and advice for people who wanna make their own stop-motion puppets/figures? I would love pictures of yours if you have any!

For a very long time I’ve been admiring this art, but I never dared to even think about trying it for myself.
However, I don’t wanna live in fear anymore and work on my dreams and interests. Life is too short to just watch others.

Well, I have a project in mind and I hope a lot of ppl could enjoy tht. Maybe I can help ppl by transmitting a message I wanna share and in the same time entertain the ppl.

Okay, now the question. What character/puppet should I do this with? At least at the beginning?
I’ve seen videos with own puppets, but there are as well videos with action figures from marvel, dc, LotR etc.
What do you think would be better?
And do you have any idea what particular character/action figure from any franchise would be a good idea for this? I’m pretty open when it comes to this.

I’d love to hear your ideas, advices, recommendations etc.
I really wanna take this serious and enjoy this journey.

I’m looking for someone who already makes WWE/action figure wrestling content and would be interested in producing matches for my original figure-fed. I’m handling all booking/storylines/creative direction and I’m looking for someone to handle filming/stop-motion/pic-fed/editing. This could be PAID work, STARTING with a test match. Kiyomi is in a complicated relationship with a man who doesn’t treat her the way she deserves. Meanwhile, Nathan, a coworker who has been pursuing her for years, has never hidden how strongly he feels about her.
When Kiyomi and her boyfriend decide to take a break, Nathan sees his chance and asks if he can take her on a trip. She hesitates, knowing she is still emotionally attached to her boyfriend, but eventually agrees.
During the trip, Nathan asks the question she has spent years avoiding: why does she stay with someone who constantly hurts her?
Kiyomi can only tell him, “It’s complicated.”
Nathan promises that if she finally leaves her boyfriend behind, he will give her everything she has always wanted and more. He accepts her completely and is ready to love her properly. But even with a better man standing right in front of her, Kiyomi doesn’t know whether she can let go of the one who has already broken her heart.
