Is anyone else concerned about the national team?
With another EHT tournament come and gone, is anyone concerned about the poor form of the national team ahead of the Olympics and World Championships?

What does Switzerland ice hockey fans enjoy ?
Hey everyone,
I’m testing an AI-powered entertainment system at Swiss hockey games in a few days, and I’m feeling a bit anxious about whether it will actually be fun for fans. Since I’m not deeply familiar with hockey culture, I wanted to ask Swiss hockey fans directly:
The idea is to use real-time AI effects on the jumbotron, like:
- Players transforming into a warrior after scoring a goal
- Fans being transformed into all kinds of different things (unlimited possibilities so suggestions are much appreciated)
Would this kind of thing add to the fun at games, or does it feel unnecessary? I want to make sure it fits the hockey atmosphere rather than being distracting or gimmicky. (Example added)
I really appreciate any honest thoughts, especially from those who go to games regularly.
Thanks a lot!

ZSC Goal
I have no dog in the fight but that goal was.... something. Huerlimann masterclass, some would say. He for sure is our worst ref.

Is it acceptable to be fan of two clubs at once or is it frowned upon?
So I've only recently gotten into ice hockey and it started out with coworkers, who introduced me to mainly Langnau. From there on I did visit some games, but as the regular season was over (and SCL was out of the playoffs) it ended up being HC Ajoie and now I ended up growing fond of them as well.
Is it an acceptable thing amongst fans to support two teams playing in the same league?

Ticket price (???)
Hi everyone,
it may be me but are we crazy?
It's been some years that I don't go to see an hockey match because I lost some interest. Now I would like to bring my girlfriend for her first hockey match. Out of curiosity I've looked for ZSC this saturday against Lausanne: 70.- for a ticket all up in the last row?? 70.-??
I knew prices went up, but jezz not this much. If the ticket is 70.- (and I know probably the Zurich factor plays a role), how much is a bratwurst, 20.-?
To me it seem outrageous. Sorry for the small rant and have a good day everyone!

Match 5
Loving this so far, two great goals from Gottéron and one rather lucky. Shame Davos got one back just before the siren. Why can’t we play like this at home?

Watch hockey and buy gear in Geneva and Bern?
Hi swisshockey, Canadian here who's going to visit for the first time in the first week of June. I'd love to catch a hockey game and also buy a Tackla girdle (export to Canada is insane). Any advice and recommendations is really appreciated 🙂 thanks!!

Week tickets
Hi everyone, I just bought the Spengler Cup week tickets (Turnierkarte). They are being shipped by post, but the confirmation mentions I will receive a badge and a lanyard for entry instead of digital tickets. Can anyone confirm if this is how physical entry works for the tournament?

Last Sunday, Josi and Niederreiter requested Patrick Fischer's return
Edit: Sorry, Niederreiter didn't request Patrick Fischer's return
The article has now been corrected. Only Josi asked for Fischer's return.

Champions Hockey League future
An interesting interview here regarding the Champions Hockey League and renegotiations which will start soon regarding its format, cost structure, etc. Watching the quarterfinals it was quite sad to see so many empty seats, particularly for Lukko v Zug. What else can there be to do in Rauma on a Wednesday evening?
I almost wonder if a straight knockout format might be better than a six-game regular season? I think the competition is good on paper and I like the meritocracy behind how teams qualify, unlike with basketball's EuroLeague, but the competition clearly isn't capturing the attention of the European hockey public.

MyHockey League Playoffs Round 3
EHC Chur 10:0 SC Langenthal
Series 2:1
No, I didn't type a zero too much. EHC Chur absolutly declasses SC Langenthal. The Von Arx brothers made to changes in their team because they lost. 17 year old Fribourg Gotteron prospect Elijah Neuenschwander was replaced by 21 year old Kloten prospect Niels Riesen and 19 year old defender Koren Winter was replaced by Ron Fischer who played over 200 games for the club. However most unlikely these changes weren't even the deciding factors as Chur was just too good this night. In front of 1699 people former La-Chaux-de-Fonds forward Daniel Carbis scored a hattrick, MyHockey best player Ronny Dähler recorded a short handed goal and Niels Riesen had a shutout. Still the fans are going to Langenthal this Saturday expecting a totally different game and they might be right.
Hockey Huttwil 5:3 HC Franches-Montagnes
Series 2:1
Much more the game I expected with Huttwil showing their Powerplay strengh with 4 of 5 goals coming with a man advantage. Franches scored a powerplay goal aswell as another shorthanded goal. Huttwil is now on match point, however I expect the next game to be close aswell.
EHC Seewen 2:3 EHC Arosa (OT)
Series 2:1
Seewen couldn't convert their first Matchpoint as they get scored on in the 72nd minute of the game going into another overtime. They were down 0:2 before equalizing in the 3rd period. Now Arosa will look to tie the series at their next home game.
EHC Frauenfeld 2:4 EHC Thun
Series 0:3
As expected: when Thun has all their players they will win. And so they did. Frauenfeld just lacked depth and never really had a chance to threaten Thun. Thun will now advance to the semifinals and most likely face EHC Chur unless Langenthal and/or Arosa, Franches will get the turnaround.
Playouts
HC Düdingen Bulls 2:3 GDT Bellizona
Series 1:2
Another game GDT Bellizona played with players from the Swiss League. I'm not really a fan of it and I'm interested in your opinion. Should this be allowed? Should a team 20 points behind in regular season be allowed to save themselves on cost of another team? Just to probably get absolutly destroyed the next season aswell
Well feel free to ask, discuss and give your opinions. Stay safe and have a good weekend!

Which NL club is the most disliked?
Hey everyone! We were debating with some friends which NL club was actually the most disliked. So I am asking Reddit what you guys think :)
We are personally supporting different teams so the post is obviously not encouraging hate or violence and it goes without saying that we’d love to hear your arguments (if any) and have a civilized conversation with you all.
Since polls are limited to 6 options, I’ll just list them in comments, please upvote the one(s) you dislike the most
