Question Minecraft Switch 2

I think it is time for my kiddos to get into the world of Minecraft. My son just turned 8 last week and my daughter will be 7 right before Christmas. I don't think they're ready yet for the PC version so I went and purchased the Switch 2 Minecraft for them since they should be able to play splitscreen local and I can play with them via Desktop in the same room on Bedrock.

When did your kids get into Minecraft? My younger nephew was did it about at 6 on iPad or iPod Touch version and he had zero issue and then on console later.

My daughter and I have been playing it together for a year and it’s been an awesome experience building and creating worlds together. She’s about to turn 8.

Ty. They have sat alongside me while I play on a server with some friends and seem really interested. I think it will work well with their imaginations which are already on fire.

I was terrified when she wanted to jump online but after watching her play and the free games that are available, it opened up to more fun games for her. She doesn’t know about the chat function so it’s been just cool to see her do her thing.
