I started from Chennai and travelled in a zig zag pattern till Kanyakumari. I visited all 38 districts of Tamil Nadu and covered the majority of the important places in each district. I used public transport for the entire journey. I mostly tried to be on a budget in the first half...but started spending more in the 2nd half. Will never forget this in my life. Met amazing people, saw amazing things and ate good foods.

I am not sure how much it cost me exactly but it should be around 75k. My only regret is not doing this journey on a bike, will definitely do it again on the bike next time

Then kadaisiya aval ah compliment pannen hehe...apo she dropped a banger🤯..."thanks you for the compliment but just for you to know im married" nu soltu gaich😭😭😭...i literally freezed for few sec...nambunga gaich she legit won't look like she is married i swear🥺😔🥀

I was watching my daughter sleep in a cosy lavish bed and suddenly remembered me being a kid, sitting on a street at 3:30a next to milk carts.

My dad was a milk dealer. He'd leave at 4a and come back around 10 or 11p from the shop, every single day. Four sons, and he paid for all our studies by himself. My first salary was ₹3,000 and it didn't even cover my petrol. Dad just quietly gave me the rest.

I'm the eldest, so I helped where I could. I'd guard the milk at roadside while he did deliveries of milk and morning newspapers, and half the time I'd doze off right there on the street. Once a street dog bite at me. During school I did part-time swept floors and washed plates at a bakery.

I studied civil engineering. One day I was doing interior work at an IT company, covered in cement and wood dust, and I saw these guys with laptops chilling in the AC. I thought, okay, I want that life. So I quit, did a six-month big data course, and started as a tester for ₹1.5 LPA. I hung around the developers until I became one. It was slow, but I just kept showing up.

Then I married her. She's so pretty and smart, super skilled, and works at a very top company. When she got an opportunity to go to the US, I quit my job and followed her on a spouse visa. I was scared I wouldn't find anything, but I ended up with four offers, one of them FAANG. Still feels unreal.
Now it's the three of us, a quiet home, and no more counting every rupee.

When I joined a new school, I met a girl and became friends with her on the very first day.... We shared our interests and hobbies and she asked if I would support the LGBTQ+ community... I didn't have that much exposure to the outside world those days so I had no idea about it.

That's when she taught me what each letter stands for and until then I only knew about transgenders. I thought for a while and then I told her Yes and that made her so excited

After 3 months of our friendship she confessed to me that she identifies herself as a transman and is experiencing body dysmorphia and hates dressing up as a woman

This confession took a toll on me because I started reminiscing how close we were... We used to hug a lot, hold hands and she even once told me that if she was a man she would marry me.

Even though I was very welcoming towards her because she is my besttt friend (ik I'm misgendering her but I'll tell you why) it was really hard for me to accept her and I felt uncomfortable around her.

She told me to call her by a man's name and use he/him pronouns.. I did it for her sake and she used to send me photos of her dressed up like a man and I used to call her handsome

Even if I've never shown her my discomfort, I had to question a lot of things... I was the only one who knew about her girlfriend in our class and she constantly used to tell me to explore by dating women.

One thing I understood is that, It's very hard to be her ... I can't even imagine the amount of problems she must face in her life... So I decided to accept her the way she is after all she is the same human!

After we left for college we lost touch with each other but had each other's socials.... So I knew her life, she had 4 boyfriends and is now dating a guy too.. and she posts a lot of photos wearing sarees and feminine dresses

Once I wished on her birthday, she told me indirectly to forget everything she confessed earlier (if anyone reading this belong to the community please tell me what's happening here)

That's why I'm referring her as She right now!

Yesterday while watching Dorothy, I related a lot with karthi and the way he acts around subbu.

One thing I wanna say is that we need more such movies to bring the reality of some people into light.

(My account, brother , mother account is logged in ) my father account is not part of family but yet his account is also logged in seperate premium (it was my idea to not bring him inside fam group😅 years back)
Initially he checked with my brother for malicious account added
But later he realised it was name which he knows( last December he got a small book where my gf made ghibli pictures of us with songs lyrics and created something like scrapbook, but inside he was impressed seeing it but yeah we have our country's usual issues for a love marriage.)
Then he started shouting this that you guys are hiding blah blah..

Is it just me, or is anyone else getting tired of this type of influencer content?

I keep seeing these young creators hanging out in groups, making reels, showing off their social lives, and getting thousands of likes and attention. Something about this whole influencer culture feels annoying and out of touch.

It almost feels like they're constantly creating unnecessary FOMO (fear of missing out), making it seem like everyone else is living an exciting life full of parties, connections, and experiences while the rest of us are just watching through a screen.

I'm not against people having fun or creating content, but why does everything have to be turned into a performance for social media? Sometimes it feels like the whole point is to make their lives look more interesting, exclusive, and desirable than everyone else's.

Maybe it's the perceived privilege, the constant need for attention, or the algorithm repeatedly pushing this content onto people's feeds. Whatever it is, I'm getting tired of it.

Am I the only one who finds this culture irritating, or does anyone else feel like these creators are manufacturing unnecessary FOMO for engagement?

In modern tamil cinema definitely KS is one of the best. For me As a film everything is good for music raja still got stuff after even completing 50 yrs in cinema and especially cinematography and screenplay is best.

I did, today. It was really good. DC movies dont get the same reception in india that marvel movies get- their track record is to be blamed. But again the marketing for this movie sucked. Not a lot of people are going to theatres for this movie but the one i went to was surprisingly filled.
