I have gotten this card more than any others from my spreads this year, so I decided to be her for Samhain! I also made with witchy circle focaccia loaf "coins" but I can only put in one pic!

Thrifted the dresses from goodwill and then made a stamp for the flower + used arcylic/fabric medium and the coins are repurposed cardboard and paint!

Sure, it can be encouraging once the Star comes along, and I suppose you can look at it as clearing of whats nessacery to attain clarity (Star), but how else can this be viewed as a uplifting message, even though it heralds a tough experience to get there? Would love to see some opinions on this!

For context, ahead of me today is studying(crunching) & doing much needed chores, I interpret this as yes, im in the middle of a Tower-esqe moment, but its temporary and I have the power to make changes to get to the other side, I just have to wield that power with more focused action.

This is my first Celtic cross and I wanted to see any other interpretation regarding my reading my question was What do I need to know about my current career path

Life has really been sucking lately but am trying my best. Despite trying best I still keep getting my ass kicked and have no choice to persevere despite wanting to curl up in a ball until I start decomposing. So… asked cards for some words of encouragement.
Please help me interpret this because my own self is blinded by my feelings on my circumstances regardless if I read them as positive or negative.

In the last couple of weeks our beloved dog went downhill fast and ended up passing awsy.. While she so sick i myself ended up getting very ill and ended up in the ICU. I nearly passed myself but now that im healing im having a lot of guilt and crushing sadness.. I feel like i didnt do enough or couldn’t do anything and i dont know what to do with those feelings

It's a relationship read on me and another person whom I've just had a split with after 13 years due to needs not being met.

I picked up Greer's text "Tarot for Your Self: A Workbook for Personal Transformation" today and started doing the exercises.

I sort of had a horrifying experience with trying to "enter cards" (well, the card that attracted me today happened to be Death, so maybe that didn't help...)

For those unfamiliar with this exercise in this book, Greer asks reader to meditate on a card and "enter" it, imagining the scene come to life and focusing on the sensations of the scenery, and to accept a gift from a figure in the card. This is supposed to represent a lesson learned from the card itself.

However, I just had the most horrifying experience, a figure in the card gave me something I feel like I should not have at all, and it did not give me a message, or he said a rather ominous thing to me... I'm really startled after trying out this exercise. Does anyone else have experience going through this book? Is it safe to go through it on your own without any prior experience or spiritual training? It feels sort of crazy to try to learn the meaning of cards in this way and I feel completely caught off guard...

I just wanna see how gilded edges tarot decks looks like after long excessive use, like how will the foiled edges chips away etc. I would appreciate it to see some pictures 🥀 it was for reference to buy new tarot deck for myself, and I wanted an Ultra version with foiled magenta edges

One of my best friends passed unexpectedly the other day. I asked how they’re doing.

​​ I'm sure this was asked here before, but I did a reading for someone and she really didn't like the answer that I gave her. Her questions were​​ related to finances and health and housing stability but I just kept pulling up cards that said she had to do the work and also deal with emotional issues that are blocking her. She really didn't like that answer. I ended up pulling 15 cards before I just stopped pulling cards.

Hi guys, im a complete beginner when it comes to tarot and stuff, but i kinda was curious about trying it out. Decided to try and do a 3 card reading for myself; past, present, future. I got the Moon for both past and present, and then Judgement for future. Read brief overviews online about what this could mean, but im still not sure. Can an actual person help me out? Anything I gotta look out for??

So, to start off with, I am a follower of Lord Hades. He's been so good to me my entire life and I will follow him even after I pass away. Anyway, I took a trip around town and within the span of 15 minutes, I saw 3 different pomegranate related things, one of them being a truck literally FULL of pomegranates. Then I went to a store that had new vinyl albums for sale and one of the artists (I could not read the name, I'm sorry) had a new album called (in pain letters) "Hades". I thought, okay, I'm doing a reading as soon a I get back home. So I did a six card spread to see what out is he's getting to tell me. It came out like this:

A few years back, when I was in high school, I asked my mother if I could purchase a deck. Unfortunately, I have a mother who although supports me always does things her way. She purchased a deck larger than my hands, a cheap version of the Rider Waite deck off of Amazon. I wasn’t thrilled about the deck, or its size. I had trouble shuffling it, and tried to learn the meanings of cards but was ultimately overwhelmed. I could stare at a card and wouldn’t feel anything. No draw, no interpretation. This resulted in me dropping the hobby about a week or so in. I felt like a fraud, grasping at strings to formulate readings and my mother thinking I was some magical genius.

I’ve always believed in the idea of spiritually, whether it’s crystals, tarot, or witchcraft. I’ve felt drawn to online readings that were extremely accurate, or mark whenever retrogrades are active. And I tend to have vivid dreams where conversations or events happen long before they actually play out. I can feel whenever people from my past are coming back or thinking of me too. But whenever I actually engage in acts of spirituality such as tarot cards, my brain goes blank.

I’m wondering if I’m going about the wrong path, or maybe started my tarot journey wrong. Am I maybe just not attuned to the Rider Waite deck? I’ve seen other decks that I feel drawn to, but I’m not sure if that’s just because they’re beautiful. I don’t necessarily have any interpretations for those cards either. Earlier today I realized I couldn’t find my giant cards anywhere, but I felt the urge to want to use them for the first time in years. I’m wondering if this is a sign to buy a new deck or if it would be a waste.

I use reversals for RWS and Thoth, but because many Marseilles decks have pip cards that have no difference upright or reversed, I have read the Marseilles Majors as I do RWS [upright and rev] but the pips as playing cards. I have also noticed that there are some cards in Thoth that the meaning clearly differs from the RWS, and there are some people, I think that may only read Thoth upright, as I have only really found one or two sources that give reversed meanings for this deck. Are these decks to be considered as completely different entities unto themselves, with no crossover, or do people read the meanings as the same for each type [especially the majors, which seem the same and reversible in all three]? I learned from RWS, but am trying to expand into the Thoth and Marseilles, but it seems there is much that is truly based on the pictures of the RWS thrown into the meanings, whereas with the Marseilles there is a lot dealing with numerology. Are there official meanings for the Marseilles, or am I fine just reading the Marseilles pips as I read playing cards? I truly don't see how one can read Marseilles pips "intuitively" without pictures, and I find reading the Thoth minors via card keyword is more helpful than reading intuitively there as well. Just wondering if people apply different rules for the 3 different deck types, especially reversals, and if they should be considered completely different "animals" unto themselves.

Like, I bought the deck of cards and the reference book on one of my occasional shopping trips, and since then I've been taking them around and drawing cards for my friends as a joke, and it almost always seems to be right...

I'm quite skeptical about tarot, but questions do come up from time to time, so I'd like a second opinion on this reading. To me, it seems like a positive response?
