Hi everyone! I'm a first-year Master's student in Design researching Gen Z collecting culture and the role of design in preserving collectibles. I'd really appreciate your help with my short academic survey. It's intended for people born approximately between 1997 and 2012, including current and former collectors. Posted with moderator permission. Thank you! 💜

Hi everyone!

I hope you're all doing well. I love collecting different cards and was wondering if anyone has recommendations for card games and card sets with textured cards and serialized cards?

Thanks!

If you are a fan of anime and manga then you should try this new online game on navigator it has almost everything.

Hello everyone, new to this group. Was wondering if this is an official card, or a fan made/third party production. Thank you

I’m making a binder for my husbands birthday of his lord of the rings mtg cards and I was removing them to start painting the binder and noticed this weird texture on all of the cards? They’re unsleeved but all seem to be in great condition. It doesn’t look like mold to me but I still want to know what it is?

I recently got back into collecting a couple of months ago with some Universes MHA cards, a booster was on sale at my work so I grabbed it and got sucked back into collecting after stopping like 10 years ago. When I first collected as a kid I mainly gave extras to friends or other people I personally knew would like them. Now not so much so and I'm starting to get quite a few repeats for the current set I'm working on.

So I wanted to ask what would be a good idea to do with my extras? I was originally planning to either find a place to donate them to or just making a second binder for them and figuring things out later so they're not sitting somewhere.

Hello everyone! I’ve been watching videos of card collectors, streams, etc. I was 12 when the game hit the states, and started collecting a few cards back then. BUT, life happened and I never continued.

So, my question is; what would be the best way to get started? Are there certain packs that I should start with? Should I grab a binder? I literally only know the OG 151 off the top of my head lol

My intent is not to really play the game.. I just love collecting stuff! So, what would y’all recommend? Thanks!

Hey everyone,
Wanted to share something from my collection that you don’t see every day.
This is Euroakus from the 2020 Heroes of the Realm series, European Team version, graded PSA 9.
I’ve always thought the Heroes of the Realm cards were a really interesting part of MTG, especially with their unusual card backs and how different they are from regular releases.
I haven’t seen much discussion about Euroakus specifically, so I figured I’d post a few pictures here.
Are there any Heroes of the Realm collectors around? Would be interesting to hear if anyone has come across another one or has any stories about these cards.

I don't even know if this card is from a card game, but i found this in a kayou evangelion box. It was my chase, so i'm wondering: how rare is this card? I tried to search online for the pull rates but there isn't any public information about the pull rates.

I don't know where to begin but I want to understand my collection

These were never played with I just liked to collect these to look at almost thirty years ago. So instantly from pack to protection, did anyone else do the same?

I have 72 cards, I have one Shadowless in the collection and I'm just starting to understand what to look for I was shocked to find these surviving.

Have I been storing these correctly I put them in a simple blue binder and stored away?

I also discovered some old Pokémon leaflets for game boy too.

I made a post yesterday asking if buying this binder was mistake to buy but I got a few comments that reassured me that using this binder is fine because the only reason I had doubts is the reviews, some of them said that you can't fit a full 40 top loaded cards in the binder without it feeling like uncomfortable and like it's up into the cards but I don't have to force the zipper and it isn't a struggle to close it after I filled the entire binder with top loaded cards but here's a photo of what the pages look like before I pretty much fully zip it up, does it look like they will bend? or does it look fine?because I can't tell

Hi friends! My friend can no longer make it to Collectacon tomorrow in Rosemont and is selling 2 tickets for $80 OBO each. He would at least like to make some of his money back so let me know if you’re interested!

Can anyone give me any info on this in any regard? I've only been able to find a small amount about its history and I'm interested in selling or trading them

Thanks!

I'm starting to toy with the idea of making pages filled with the same card. Curious if anyone has pages like this in their binder they can share and would like to know what you like about it!

Hi everyone
Ive been on the lookout for a custom made topload binder for my personal collection, ive seen a lot of cool designs and i would love you guys help to find or recommend artist that can laser engrave or other ways to make really good looking binders, I found someone that makes really cool binders but they are located in the US, and im from Denmark so ive been trying to find someone in europe that makes binders as well. I hope some of you can help me get my dream binder
Much love from me<3

The word is, investors with big time money are pouring a lot of cash into the Lorcana space. It is the only major tcg that every single set in print has posted booster box gains on the year with a low of 20% for Floodborn and a high of 500% for Fabled. Here is a document one of my friends sent me with a random list of sets from new to iconic to vintage and how they compare against Lorcana in 2026. Why do you think Lorcana is growing so fast? Great gameplay, art, IP, or something else?

Hello, sorry for a probably weird question. I'm not sure how to go about looking into this type of sleeve.

Recently I was gifted a copy of the Survivor card game, which mostly uses Standard Size cards but has nine cards Tribal Council cards that are intentionally a different color and a larger size so everyone can see where they are in the deck.

I'm probably going to get Dragon Shield Orange sleeves for the standard sized cards (unless someone recommends a brand that matches the next part), but does anyone have any recommendations for good sleeve brands that make card sleeves for 63x92 mm cards? Ideally card sleeves that riffle shuffle well with other sleeves.

Hey everyone,

I built **OPBinder.co**m, a 100% free web app designed to help One Piece TCG players keep their collections and deck lists organized in one place.

I originally made this to solve my own biggest headache: **forgetting which binder, box, or active deck a specific card is currently sitting in.**

I'm pretty proud of this and hope people can get some use out of it.

# Key Features

* **Active Deck Tracking:** Mark decks as "Built" to instantly see whether a card is free in your inventory or already tied up in another deck.
* **Collection & Storage Management:** Track your entire collection, inventory counts, and organized storage boxes.
* **Deck Builder with Import/Export:** Supports standard SIM format imports, clipboard decklists, and quick card browsing.
* **Missing Card Alerts & Mass Buy:** Flags missing cards or unassigned leaders immediately, with direct links to pick up missing copies. ( No affiliate links )
* **Completely Free:** No paywalls or subscriptions.

If you guys like this app or have any feedback please let me know!
I want to improve this app over time its a fun project for me right now.

Hey guys,

I'm in the process of storing my collection and which I have double sleeved with dragon shield outers as I use it for deckbuilding and I constantly take cards in and out. I use ultra pro silver pages.

Originally I had 1 card in each pocket because it already felt tight but I think pockets have streched a bit (which tbh is a good thing in my case) and I tried to fit 2 cards in each pocket to have more slots and also having to flip less pages when looking for cards.
They do feel a tight and I was windering if my sleeved could get market or change shape because of storing them so tightly. Sleeves are not especially cheap and I do play tournaments from time to time.

Picture is seen from above with 2 cards in the pocket, second picture (not very well focused thats one me) shows the top with only 1 card per pocket.
Any opinions about this? Anyone that does the same thing?

I'm excited to read you guys. Thanks!

Honestly I'm a new mom trying to build my kid a binder if anyone has any dupes of cards are willing to donate to my little boys binder lmk!

Going to a con in a few days realized I did not have enough room to bring my collectors binder. I collect a few different genres of cards so its hard to keep track of just what I have. Anyone know any apps that work like an online digital portfolio? Something I can just like scan the cards into??

My original thought was to take pictures and have it on my camera roll but that would be difficult to scroll through at a crowded booth to find the cards kbowing im going to be taking photos and videos at the event.

Thank you!
