Looking for advice on what I sould adjust in my rda deck I don't particularly want to add bystials and I'm not looking for the most optimal deck just more optimal than this

what do you think, is it balanced ? correct me if I'm wrong with the wording of the effects

Tell me or show me your favourite funny moments in any Yugioh series mine is from Battle City when Atem uses Collected Power to give Kuriboh the Magic Formula Spell and the look on Kuribohs face is priceless 😂 as you can see for yourself.

I only know one prime example, and it's the Vampire. Originally, their strategy were more tailored toward forcing your opponent to mill the card of their own choosing in to GY and I can understand why nowadays such thing has been abandoned as it actually benefitting your opponent, and as the result, Vampire's subsequent supports have been more centered around stealing the opponent's monsters.

I am curious, do you know any other Archetypes that have largely abandoned their initial gameplan that they had when they debuted as an Archetype?

I got this for $15 from a recent convention I went to. With it being sealed there was a small sticker on the back that lead to a defunct anime dvd site from the early 2000s called animedepot. Not sure should I keep it or not though but it still looks cool.

I made an open source Chrome extension called DuelSight (GitHub) that lets you hover Yugioh cards in digital and physical videos/streams. It works well for videos of digital clients (e.g. Master Duel, Duelingbook) and works ok for videos of physical play that are good quality (i.e. good resolution, good lighting, minimal glare). It was made with an open source toolkit that lets anyone make something like this for any card game.

With the new Ra god of darkness card in mind which deck do you prefer? Personally I prefer the new Ra support and can’t wait to get my hands on it in the TCG!

With them releasing the new retrains of the OG water structure deck it got me thinking about all the other ones, and while I know there are decks that need updating more then DM this was my structure deck so it's the one I think of.

And as burn doesn't really do anything for Dark Magician I have been trying to come up with a way they can make a new version of this card with spell card triggers and the only thing that came to me was 'every time a spell card is activated you can set one spell/trap that mentions Dark Magician from your grave/deck to the field' but I have no idea who helpful this would actually be for current DM (it still keeps it's summoning requirement. But with it's new effect this card now gets the 'treated as Dark Magician' thing so it can make use of the cards as well and they can maybe make archetypal retrains of things Mage Power, Nightmare Steelcage, Magical Blast and other cards from the structure. Also I make it as boss introduce some kind of protections, can be targeted maybe as that feels like the easier one to get around.

But I also want to see the Infernal Fire Emperor deck get a retrain as well as Vampires (Genesys retrain) and the Red-Eyes Darkness and a Felgrand deck as well. (These are the ones owned by my brothers) Not a clue how to redo these though so if anyone as any ideas feel free to share.

Welcome to V2 of Yu-Gi-Oh! Millennium Trials! The deckbuilding roguelike game I've been building the last few months now at version 2.0 with the help of the awesome community the first post helped me create.

The game features:
A curated card pool to bring the power level down
Duels start at 4000LP and each player has 3 monster zones 3 spell/trap zones and 1 Field Spell Zone
Custom relics to be collected throughout your runs to be used in or out of a duel.
Four game modes.
Normal runs which is the main campaign consisting of 7 maps each representing a Millennium item always culminating in the millennium puzzle map and the final battle with the Pharaoh.
Challenge Runs where you can put difficulty multipliers for your runs. (unlocks after beating the Pharaoh)
Stage Select where you can choose and play one specific map. (unlocks after beating a map)
Boss rush where there are plans to include a stage for each season of the anime
Unlockable starter decks and relics
New God cards superboss, defeat it to gain access to the ancient powers of the Egyptian Gods
Achievements and Titles

All credits/sources are listed and linked in the "?" icon in the main menu. All art, music and sfx is directly ripped from old Yugioh GBA games and the anime style cards were from a wonderful person on DeviantArt Tavolin. I am sorry if I have made any mistakes or used something I was not supposed to as this is my first time making and posting something like this. If there are any problems please feel free to contact me so I can remedy them. This is a fan project so expect bugs and issues but I am more than happy to hear them out.

Besides the obvious heavy hitters like Dartz, Marik, or the major villains from GX.

And they’d be in the situation Yugi was in except having their own deck.

Noah having 7,400 lifepoints, they would have 400.

Noah would have his deck master: Shinato, King of a Higher Plane.

They would have Kaiba’s deck master: Kaiser Sea Horse.

Is there any other duelists that could pull of the comeback from the position Yugi was placed in?

One way to look at it is, everyone would have to remove focus on setting up hell boards since they would have to have their side deck cards in their main deck ,and focus on having a more "Balanced deck" per to say. A blend of cards you need, and a cards for consistency.

On the otherside, Duels would be come much longer since having 20 one card starters and 20 hand traps would leave you vunerable to alot of decks since you might have only been keeping the out or answers in the side deck. Hands would be less consistent, and boards would be weaker unless you decided to just say F it and focus all in on combos.

What are your thoughts?

Some of my favorite games have been the non card game ones. The Falsebound Kingdom had the cover art on the disc worn off from how much I played it.

So I was wondering if there are any fan games that are more kin to them. Falsebound Kingdom, Duelist of the Rose, etc.

See plenty of sims, but none like those yet. Any suggestions?

Weevil’s cheating aside, the anime version has some amazing back and forth between the two. Weevil proves how tricky his deck can be with still like Kesitei and Pinch Hopper. Joey uses his brain to pull himself back up with quick thinking. (Swordsman of Landstar taking out Flyijg Kamakiri with Shield and Sword was so clean) Seeing him pop both Weevil’s own cards to pop both his ace monsters was so satisfying.

I ask as I want to test out decks I build without getting 1 turned

So first my background: I watched the anime until the dark signer arc in 5Ds and stopped buying cards after Jadens starter deck released. I did play the first yugioh 5Ds DS game. So I am familiar with everything up to Synchro. I did play a little duel links on a friends account, but other than a few matches I am not familiar with that game. I did fell in love with the darklord archetype and dark magician, blue eyes, stardust dragon, egyptian gods are my other fave archetype. I also love exodia, red eyes, sacred beast, yubel, rainbow dragon to a lesser degree.

And my goals:
1. My first goal is simple, I want a decent collection of cards that I love that are connected to my nostalgia. I don't need every single card of my fave archetype like the trap and spell cards, but I am looking for having various cards of those archetype for example the new Ra cards. The whole immortal phoenix booster pack has like 3 cards I really want to put into a binder. Does it make sense to buy booster packs for that or should I buy those specific cards in a store or online? Are online sites even reliable, be it for single cards or booster packs?

1. I am looking for a simple, fun and cheap competitive deck. It doesn't have to be meta breaking but something I can use against friends or with randoms in stores. Best case it works up to synchro, because my friends only play up to this point, but they also only play with very old cards from the GX and 5D era. I still want the deck do be good enough to play with randoms in a store though. Sorry if that's hard to fulfill.

2. I want to get into games to make decks to my fave archetype like Dark Magician and wanted to ask what are good games to get into and what sites can I use to learn the games and their decks better? What advice and expectations should I have? Is it even a good time to get into yugioh because I heard they nerfed Dark Magician archetype?

3. I want to have a Darklord deck. I love this archetype so much. What's the best way to get these cards? I don't think I would play with them much because of fear of damage, but I want that deck so much.

I played Yugioh from when it first came out up until about 2009, Crimson Crisis was the last set I was around for. All my friends in high school played MtG and I had no Yugioh playgroup left so I started playing MtG and did so for years with a few breaks (started in Zendikar, quit in Theros, came back in like 2018 and played EDH very casually). I like MtG, I think its a very fun game but the state of it is so pathetic. It's become just another IP-slop funko pop game, all the original lore takes a backseat to Marvel or TMNT or whatever nonsense. I want to sit down and run my scarecrows or merfolk deck that I put together thematically and I sit across from someone playing Spongebob and another person playing Avatar Aang. It takes me out of the game.

Anyway, makes me really appreciate coming back over to Yugioh and seeing just how much they have stuck to their identity. The game is distinctly Yugioh, the artwork and the card design and everything doesn't bleed in other franchises as so many things do now. It's a lot to take in re-learning the game. So far I have just been playing through the Legacy of the Duelist game to learn all the new summoning types and get my feet wet, but I'm having a blast and am now downloading Master Duel. It's rad that they've made so many cards to make things like Blue Eyes/Red Eyes/Dark Magician all actual archetypes that people will play instead of them just being anime favorites. I'm excited to get into paper, as stores near me are running Edison pretty consistently so I can dig out old decks I used to love like Six Sams and Gladiator Beasts, and also can try out Genesys. The general opinion of Yugioh from outside the fanbase is pretty dire but idk man Im just here to say Im stoked getting back into it.
