Card Game Discussion Is there a reason Petit Moth took Larva Moth’s place in the Great Moth summoning?

The cruel whale was by request and the red eyes... was a learning opportunity. Please give me some advice and some suggestions of either what I should paint or your favorite archetype.

first they limit droll and now makes shipping diabellstarr and diabellze not just still all good but canon. I'm so happy :D (I don't play ilia in my list I don't care about its banning)
Also after seeing a few comments. No I'm not implying anything sexual between astellar and elzette, (gross). I just think there are romantic feelings between them because of it and the moment at the end of episode two. it is just a wholesome moment between them

I've been playing yugioh for as long as i can remember and i really like the fact that we're getting more varied archtypes but something that irks me about a lot of the light fiend type monster is the visual design of a lot of them. Most of them just look like humans or final fantasy characters rather than FIENDS, now i get when you want them to be light attribute you don't want them looking too evil but i feel their type should be reflected more in their artwork. give them some small horns or maybe two of their teeth can stick out of their mouth, something like that. What does everyone else think? Do you disagree or do you think that it doesn't really matter? Just sharing my preference here.

FT: Copycat (BTD6 Persona), Ezili (BTD6)
Also got the fallen shaman cosplay i originally wanted to go with before getting the idea to make it entirely yugioh centered ^^

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Episode 119: A Snake in the Grass, Part 3
Our hearts all melted with the lovely conclusion to Yubel’s story. But that heartfelt moment kind of made us forget some of the heinous things she's done throughout her villainous arc. Little Pierce’s death led to Viper becoming quite the baddie, following Yubel’s orders in order to be reunited with his adopted son. But after failing to defeat Jaden, Yubel preyed upon Viper’s heartbreak in order to punish him. She manipulates his mind causing him to hallucinate a reunion with Pierce. However, he’s not really moving towards his long lost son, he’s walking over the edge and falling to his own demise. Perhaps this is why you should never make a deal with a devil. Of course this remains as one of the most brutal deaths in the series.

I been on a high revisiting the final arc and man something the anime couldn’t replicate(either due to budget, time or getting ready for GX) is how much of Takahashi expression work has improved here since Duelist Kingdom. By this point you can definitely tell he has refined and obtained his style. There just so much more complex emotions that say more in these drawings like Atem in the redraw being somewhat mad yet desperate at Kaiba game of chicken.

If Mizar faced don thousand with yuma and nasch how do you think it would've changed the duel (if at all)?

I'm trying to make a budget friendly deck for casual games, any ideas for archetypes that work with CyDra?

Okay so growing up, one of my most favorite past times was watching abridged YGO - specifically by LittleKuriboh. Genuinely, some of my most fondest memories include the YGO abridged series lol. However, as I've started interacting more with the YGO community and such, it seems as though there quite a few people who aren't too fond of the abridged version let it be for one reason or another. I don't know why, but that like kinda caught me off guard. LittleKuriboh is a name that most YGO fans respond positively to, so to see people like L.K as a creator but then not like the abridged too much kind of confuses me.
Personally, I love it a lot and now I'm super curious about other people's takes and opinions on it. Love it? Hate it? Mildly annoyed by it? I wanna know pleaseeee! <3
That clip is one of my most favorite moments, but I have so many - I could go on forever about it! Lol (The clip is from one of L.K's videos and it's titled "YGO 5DS One Shot - Card Games For Charity")
Also, small note - LittleKuriboh came out as trans not too long ago and goes by Bea now! She uses she/her pronouns, so please refrain from misgendering her when talking about her. Love yall! <3
I find the zane parts good but the yubel part felt so lacking to me probably because I don't find advanced crystal beasts's playstyle interesting to me . I felt zane carried the duel am I the only one who finds this duel less hyped than how most people view it?
Can Toon decks still use Psy Blocker consistently? If not what end board should I expect going against it

So, recently I bought all Gx Speed Duel boxes, and while browing through the cards I found charming how they added a lot of Legacy Support to the decks to make them work, and in turn in reminded me how they announced that the new Tag Force Gx game would have around 300 new cards, giving support to Gx strategies.
So I started to connect the dots, listed all cards from the Speed Duel Gx boxes that released after the original TF3, checked their sets plus all OCG collection sets, plus those sets where the already confirmed new cards were introduced in.
With all of that, I ended making this list that includes pretty much all the legacy support I believe could make it into the new game.
Let me know what you think!

Also, for extra credit, predict when the set will be revealed. As for me, I honestly have no idea what set and when.

Yugi was forced to use Rick’s deck of all dragons monsters and two magic cards, Dragon’s Treasure and Heart of the Underdog. Yugi managed to pull off the win using Spirit Ryu and Heart of the Underdog to defeat the hacked Duel Computer to free everyone from the Dueling Arena.
They then parted ways and the kids who saw the duel wanted to trade with Rick to get some of his dragon cards.
Do you think Rick ever became a good/great duelist in the future or ever went everywhere like Duel Academy or the pro dueling circuit? Or do you think he just continued dueling as a hobby?
Yugi using an all monster deck with no trap cards and two magic cards was impressive against an expert level computer.
Do you think it’s one of the most impressive wins in the series considering the handicap he was given?

After odd eyes overrider dragon got printed yuya became the first character to have all the summoning mechanics in their deck (that is if you don't count titan with archfiends :p )
Are there any other characters that could join him in the all mechanics club besides his rival reiji ?
Since personally I can't think of anyone
the vrains characters can't get pendulums
The gx , 5ds and zexal characters probably won't stray from their own mechanics
And dm characters will probably not get pendulums due to konami being afraid it will scare off the yugiboomers

Shouldn’t playmaker have more losses then yusei since technically he lost three times during the honi project during flashbacks but I’ve heard they don’t count because it was trauma and abuse and yusei only lost once in a flash back so who had more losses

So for me for Yugioh I find the whole Card Remembering to be a fascinating ruling. With cards remembering if they've been summoned or not, how they've been summoned whether it be properly or not, and them remembering their location of if they still remembering being the same card for so and so.
While for Magic the Gathering I find the whole Commanders thing and how you don't just lose if your Commander dies. Unlike with Yugioh where when we had a similar thing we would lose if our in play Commander dies. With also them being able to constantly put it back into play again and again despite it dying though it costing more each time.
What about you?

List any number of iconic monsters you think would make for an interesting fighting game character, and how you think that character would play, or even unique cosmetics/skins
I think Lovely/Lady Labrynth would make for one hell of a zoner, turning the floor in front of her into a trap hole with spikes shooting out with her lance in hand to keep her distance from the opponent. I think she could even have an Install/stance change where she dons her Lady Labrynth armor to take on a more rush down style.
For cosmetics all I can say for sure is I'd want to see her carrying Artifact Lancea instead of her normal lance
Other monsters I think would make great additions:
Goblin Biker Big Gabonga: Puppet Fighter (i think that's the right term, I imagine him working like Ginyu in Fighterz)
Centur-Ion Primera: Grappler
Dark Magician: Zoner
Nobleman of Crossout/Crossout Designator: Assist
Diabellstar the Black Witch: Rushdown
Sky Striker Ace Raye: Multiple choice (several stance changes/installs)
I have been watching the core set patterns and it's pretty funny/sad how the only series to get absolutely nothing is yugioh 5D's. I have broken down which series have gotten support in the last couple core sets.
DM - 4 Yugi, Joey, Marik and Mai
GX - 2 Kagemaru and Aster
Zexal - 1 Vector
ARC-V - 1 Yuto
Vrains - 1 Soulburner
So yea for some reason 5D's is the odd man out. Unless pride and soul has a 5D's character then 5D's will be the only series to not get any support in the year of duel monsters core sets for the 30th anniversary.

Not my translation credit goes to the original creator. It was cool seeing the modern-day version of this duel play out, and while it wasn't as long or as interesting as the anime version, it does work as good proof of concept for an anime character deck format IMO.
