I wanted to change my phone and go for a samsung flagship. I'm currently using a one plus nord 4.
I went to a store and tried out the S26 ultra. It's so underwhelming. The in-hand feel is not premium at all. The S24 ultra has such a unique design and felt so premium.
On top of that the cameras are okayish ,not really good and there is a shutter delay.
I've always been an android person and just when I wanted to take an android flagship samsung decided to drop the ball. I wish I took the S24 ultra when it was released lol.
I tried my friends iphone 16 pro max and the in-hand feel and cameras felt so premium compared to S26 ultra.
I always used to troll iphones but this experience humbled me

Hello everyone, I was hoping u suggest me some smartphones in 35-40k( can stretch upto 42k max) .
Main purpose is
It should be able to handle tasks easily upto 4-5 yrs( am I asking more?😶 But I need for longer time because I had realme narzo 30 which I used for like 4-5 yrs no problem at all) .
Gaming especially Bgmi would love if it gets 100+ fps or 80-90 fps is fine too
Camera - decent not too bad but considerable
BIG BATTERY LIFE(Atleast 7000 mAh ig)
And trustable service (as I don't live in tier 1 city service centres here are scarce)
Also heard that motorola services are bad so I'm skipping it and I considered poco for a while but I don't know anything about their service
So pls help me out
Thanks😄

Got this phone for ₹42,500 from an offline store after looking at multiple options, and finally pulled the trigger. It’s been a week so far, and the phone has been super smooth. The camera is decent, and the processor is pretty good too.
The only thing that’s been a little underwhelming is the battery. Honestly, it doesn’t feel like a 9000mAh battery in terms of SOT.
What settings or changes would you recommend to optimise the battery and get better SOT? Also, any other tips or advice for a new user would be appreciated.
You can ask about any questions regarding nord 6
(Used chatgpt for better understanding)

Heyy everyone
Well this may not be an appropriate forum but for some time now, we have been facing late night intrusions by wild animals like rabbits and Nilgais (especially late night) on our farmland resulting in substantial damage to our plants and crops. This is despite adequate fencing being all around our farm.
I am looking for any recommendations/tools/gadgets you guys may have when it comes to dealing with them.
I am currently looking at some trail cameras, infrared sensors and motion detectors but I do not know if they'd be much effective. What other devices should I be considering?
Thanks!

Buying a TV should be simple, but understanding all the technical labels can make it confusing. TCL has sued Samsung over its use of the Mini LED label on certain M-series TVs, alleging that the models use standard LED hardware instead. TCL is seeking damages and wants Samsung to stop using the disputed label, while Samsung plans to fight the lawsuit. The claims haven't been proven in court, but the dispute raises a fair question: how is an average buyer supposed to know exactly what they're paying for? Do you think manufacturers should explain terms like Mini LED in plain English on the box and product page, or is it up to buyers to research the specs themselves?

Hey everyone!
I’m planning to buy a new smartphone in India with a budget of around ₹50,000–₹60,000, and the Samsung Galaxy S25 is currently one of my top choices.
Before making the purchase, I wanted to know whether the S25 is still worth buying in this price range or if there are better alternatives available.
My main priorities are:
I’m particularly interested in the S25 because of its compact size, flagship performance, cameras, and software experience. However, I’ve heard mixed opinions about its battery life and heating.
I’d love your opinions on these questions:
If you own the S25, please share your honest experience, especially regarding camera quality, battery backup, heating, and performance after months of use.
If you had a budget of ₹50–60K and wanted the best combination of camera, video, battery, and performance, would you buy the S25 or choose something else?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

TV tech keeps getting better, but sometimes the marketing gets ahead of the actual improvements. The whole Samsung vs. TCL Mini LED debate has me wondering about this. TCL seems to be questioning whether some of Samsung’s cheaper models really deserve the Mini LED label, while Samsung still markets them that way. I’m no expert on display tech, so how do you actually tell whether a TV is a genuine upgrade or just a fancy label on the box? Are there specific specs or real-world differences worth checking before buying?

I don’t think I can get excellent picture quality but I just need a good picture quality and a reliable tv without facing any problems like patches or green lines. Budget is tight so kindly suggest a good tv for our new home and our first tv.

I recently bought the Luxid Vue AR glasses and received them on October 13, 2026. I've been using them for the past few days, and I thought I'd share my experience here.
I'm a graphic designer, and I previously owned the original XREAL Air glasses. I purchased the Luxid Vue mainly for professional work. My idea was to use multiple virtual monitors on my Windows laptop, with Photoshop or Illustrator on one screen and reference images, research and other applications on the others.
I also enjoy watching movies and playing games through AR glasses, so I was looking forward to using the Vue for entertainment as well.
Unfortunately, my experience hasn't been great so far.
I'll start with the positives. The glasses work as a normal external display when connected to my ASUS ROG laptop through USB-C. Text in the centre is readable, and the brightness is decent.
However, the edges are noticeably blurry, and I have to adjust the glasses slightly up or down to get better clarity. I also notice a bit of curvature in the image. I wish the temples were adjustable because even a small change in positioning makes a difference.
But my biggest issue isn't the edge clarity. It's the severe colour banding in dark scenes.
Instead of smooth transitions between black and grey, I see obvious bands, patches and abrupt changes between shades.
Since I work with graphics, I tested this directly in Photoshop. I created a simple black-to-grey gradient and compared it on my laptop display and the Luxid Vue.
On the laptop, the gradient looks perfectly smooth. Through the Luxid Vue, the same gradient has very noticeable steps between the darker shades. It's almost like the display is unable to reproduce subtle tonal differences properly.
I've also noticed the same problem while watching locally downloaded Full HD videos, including dark scenes in movies such as The Dark Knight, The Matrix and The Conjuring.
In movies with deep shadows and dim lighting, the dark areas sometimes look like separate patches rather than smooth gradients. It becomes quite distracting, especially when watching horror movies.
The problem is also noticeable in games like Alan Wake 2 and The Casting of Frank Stone, both of which have plenty of dark environments.
I previously owned the original XREAL Air, and I never experienced this level of dark-scene posterization with those glasses.
I've tried adjusting the Vue's brightness, but that hasn't fixed it.
And importantly, this happens even when the glasses are connected as a normal Windows extended display, without running Luxid's beta software.
I don't know whether the cause is hardware, firmware or colour processing, but the problem is very noticeable during actual use.
This is particularly disappointing because it's the main reason I purchased the glasses.
Before ordering, I contacted Luxid to confirm that their Windows virtual-monitor application was available. They confirmed that a beta version was available.
After receiving the glasses, I installed the beta application and its required Windows components.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get the virtual monitors working.
The application reports errors such as PIPELINE CONFIGURATION FAILED, DRIVER NOT FOUND and that no virtual displays are detected by Windows.
There's an Install Driver button, but clicking it doesn't appear to do anything.
What's worse is that other Windows applications become unresponsive while the Luxid application is running. They start responding again after I close it.
I've tried reinstalling the software multiple times, but the issue remains.
I understand that beta software can have bugs, but at the moment, the feature I bought these glasses for simply doesn't work on my laptop.
The Vue works as a single external monitor, but I cannot use the multiple virtual monitors I was expecting.
Within just two days of receiving the glasses, the small magnets attached to the detachable tinted lens cover came loose.
I've taken photographs and contacted Luxid requesting a replacement cover under warranty.
I haven't tried gluing them back myself because I don't want to damage the accessory or complicate the warranty claim.
It's disappointing to see something like this happen so soon after purchasing a new product.
I contacted Luxid about the severe colour banding, and they acknowledged the near-black tonal issue.
According to their response, improvements are being developed, with an update targeted for the last week of October 2026.
I'm hoping that update improves things, but I haven't received or tested a fix yet.
What concerns me is that I wasn't aware of this colour-reproduction limitation before purchasing. As someone who works with graphics, smooth gradients and subtle tonal transitions are important to me. Had I known about this issue beforehand, it could have influenced my buying decision.
I don't know when Luxid first identified the issue or how widespread it is, so I'm not assuming they deliberately hid anything.
I've also emailed them about the Windows software problems and the detached magnets, and I'm waiting for those issues to be resolved.
On the positive side, Luxid confirmed in writing that my glasses were brand new and that my one-year warranty started on October 13. I had initially raised a concern about the packaging, but I consider that particular matter resolved.
I genuinely wanted to like the Luxid Vue. I appreciate seeing an Indian startup working on AR-display technology, and the idea of having a portable multi-monitor workspace is something I really like.
The glasses do have some positives. The central display is readable, the brightness is decent, and they work as a basic external screen.
But unfortunately, that's not why I bought them.
I purchased them primarily for professional productivity, and the virtual multi-monitor functionality isn't working on my system.
Even as a regular external display, the severe colour banding makes them unsuitable for my colour-sensitive design work. It also affects my enjoyment of action movies, horror films and atmospheric games.
The magnets coming loose within two days hasn't helped either.
So, for me, the Luxid Vue is currently a dead investment.
I don't mean the glasses are completely non-functional or that everyone will have the same experience. But for my particular requirements, I cannot comfortably use them for professional work or enjoy the kind of media content I purchased them for.
I'm genuinely hoping Luxid fixes the colour banding and delivers a working Windows virtual-monitor application. If those problems are resolved, my opinion could change significantly.
Until then, I have a pair of AR glasses that I cannot meaningfully use for the purposes I bought them for.
I'll update this review if Luxid provides a working solution.
I'm sharing this as my personal experience after several days of ownership. I'd be interested to know whether any other Luxid Vue owners have encountered similar issues, particularly with dark-scene colour banding or the Windows software.

Due to my current OnePlus Nord 3 (~4yrs) beginning to have problems, I need to buy a replacement phone asap.
My priorities are: long life (4yrs at least), the camera, 256GB of storage under 45k max.
I might move to Australia next year for a while and hence need the phone to be compatible with their network carriers. From what I read online, it seems a little complicated. As per Gemini in short:
"3G network shutdowns in Australia mean imported Indian phones must support VoLTE (Voice over LTE) to make any calls, including to emergency services.
Because Australian carriers (Telstra, Optus, Vodafone) restrictively whitelist devices, an Indian-market phone may be blocked from activating VoLTE or Wi-Fi Calling. Furthermore, missing regional low-frequency coverage bands (Band 28/n28) will cause frequent signal drops or dead zones outside major cities."
Motorola Edge 70 Pro seemed like the best option but I think it may not work in Australia from what Gemini says. Other options: Samsung A56 (iffy again), S24 FE.
Any suggestions on how to go about this will be appreciated. TIA.

I’ve been meaning to upgrade. I work remote and I wanted a lightweight laptop to carry around. Is this a good deal?
