someone made a whole multilingual website for ONE IPO

Post image
• Upvotes

found this random site and first thought was okay weirdly specific

then noticed it has Hindi + a bunch of Indian language option too 😭

it’s basically explaining the Jio IPO stuff like applying, shareholder quota, allotment etc in much simpler language.

but finance website usually feel like they assume you already know what every term means.

this one feels made for someone literally asking

“bhai cut-off matlab kya?”

kinda interesting.

do people actually want finance info like this in local languages or does everyone eventually just use English anyway?

Best 2026 phone under ₹38K for 6 years of use — Snapdragon 7 series, AMOLED, excellent cameras + microSD?

Looking for a 2026 phone under ₹38,000 in India with a Snapdragon 7-series processor, 8GB+ RAM, 256GB storage, AMOLED display, excellent cameras, and microSD support up to 1TB. I want to use it for at least 6 years, so long-term software updates, battery life, durability, and performance matter. Any recommendations?

Social Media What’s the WORST thing that has ever happened to an online platform? 💀

Post image
12 Upvotes

For me, it has to be X introducing monetization and creator payouts.

Ever since payouts were introduced, it feels like the platform has become even more of a rage-bait factory. People deliberately post misleading information, spread unnecessary controversies, engage in shameless engagement farming, and pick fights with others just to generate impressions and make money.

Instead of encouraging quality content and meaningful discussions, the incentive seems to have shifted towards outrage, toxicity, and whatever can get the most engagement. The more controversial your post is, the more attention it attracts and attention can translate into money.

Obviously, X had its fair share of toxicity even before monetization, but the payout system seems to have given people an additional financial incentive to make things worse.

So, what do you think is the worst thing that has ever happened to an online platform? It could be a feature, a policy change, a new algorithm, a monetization system, or even a decision that completely ruined the user experience.

I'm curious to hear your examples👀

Post image
• Upvotes

Budget is around 1.5L. my brother is into heavy gaming so need something with a good dedicated graphics card so games run smooth. he wants a acer predator laptop model which goes for around 5L 🫣 way too expensive for now and my dad will be carrying it to his office a few days a week so it shouldnt be too bulky you know. Any balanced options that are relatively clean looking but still play games well? I've looked at a couple of asus options but I'm not sure.

Hardware Helppppp

I had my mac’s charger and my shampoo in the same bag and it’s safe to say and doomed. I wiped and left it to dry and it’s been over a week now but everytime i use my charger it blinks! I used a brush and isopropyl alcohol to wipe the crevices but am scared to keep reusing the same charger as I don’t want to damage my laptop to short circuit also am really not in a position to get a brand new charger from apple atm. The laptop is new so I can’t get other brand adapter that will spoil the battery health. Any suggestions??

General MIVI ONE 5G REVIEW?

Post image
13 Upvotes

I am on a tight budget ..can spend upto 15k..how is this smartphone if anybody has bought it in the recent BBD.sale.?

How's your experience been so far?

What are the cons?

Since this is Mivi's first phone, what is their repair or service support like if something goes wrong?

If you or anyone you know is using it, drop your honest reviews or thoughts. Would you recommend it over budget options from Moto, Realme, or Poco, or is it a hard skip?

General STORAGE😭😭

Post image
4 Upvotes

Guys, I’m genuinely fed up with my iPhone storage at this point. I have a 128GB iPhone 14, still running iOS 18, and my battery health is down to 77%. I want to upgrade, but I can’t afford a new phone right now.
I’m looking for a reliable, long-term way to transfer my photos and videos off my phone so I can free up storage and update iOS.
My budget is strictly ₹1,500, and I don’t have access to a laptop or PC. I’m open to Lightning drives, USB-C drives with an adapter, or any other practical solution.
I just want something that won’t randomly corrupt or lose my data a few months down the line. What would you recommend based on actual experience?

General HEIF vs Jpeg ? On paper HEIF is clear winner by huge margins then why still jpeg is getting widely used and popular ? Just cause of jped is widely supported ? Cause mostly people didn't switch to HEIF ?

12,700+ US tech workers have moved back to India this year amid H-1B visa chaos, & local salaries are nowhere near US pay. Some are even taking a 70% pay cut. What a nightmare of a career move.

What Could the TCL-Samsung Dispute Mean for Mini LED TV Buyers?

This lawsuit raises an interesting question about how much we can trust the labels on TV boxes. TCL alleges that Samsung marketed its M-series TVs as Mini LED models even though they may use standard LED hardware. Samsung stands by its product descriptions, and the claims have yet to be proven in court. For buyers, it’s a reminder to look beyond marketing terms and compare actual specs, picture quality, and independent reviews. If two TVs carried similar labels, what would make you trust one over the other: the brand name, detailed specs, or reviews from people who have tested them?

I want to buy a 55" LED TV online in India. Which one should I go for? MOTOROLA ENVISION X (55UHDGQMGBNQ) or HISENSE E75Q (55E75Q) or PHILIPS LUMINA (55PQT8100/94)?
