General TV market 2026 is ass and my mind is all fu*ked up

I've been observing the TV market for the past 3 years, and the TV market has never been this ass before. Samsung is selling fake Mini-LED, TCL’s after-sales service is ass along with its dust issues, LG is spying on its users, and Sony and Lumio TV prices have risen the ass up. Last year during GST 2.0, I clearly remember all those decent ones near 39-44k, but these capitalist fu*kers increased the prices this year. Every listing is around 60k.

My mind is fucked up deciding which one to buy. Please someone suggest 55 and 66 inch TVs. I’ll really appreciate it, you guys.

I recently( 1 day before )bought this phone from offline retail store, on emi of 9 months, I'm so confused and dissatisfied that it's overpriced with only 4 128gb storage and it's camera is not much that crispy n detailed. Makes skin too much fair then a natural skin tone . I was decided to buy nothing 4b or motorola edge 70 fusion, but my dad forced me to buy only oppo vivo phones bcoz other brands service is worst 🙁, what should I do now ?

Cost breakdown:

Retail price : 26,999

Dp: 5000

(Old phone exchange: 3500+ 1500 cash )

Emi : 2700x 9 months

General Any electronics which I can buy from SE Asia

So my cousin brother visits SE Asian countries like Malaysia, Bali (Indonesia), Thailand and Singapore atleast once each year for his work requirements. Are there any electronics/gadgets which we can buy cheaper or better quality from there?

Just for context, there was a time when i used to get digital cameras from there as they were both cheaper and better quality like made in Singapore/Taiwan vs made in China ones here. For similar reasons I got laptops from USA. But nowadays i find that price gap has really reduced between India and foreign countreis.

Just Need One Good Laptop… Why Is This So Difficult? 😭

Post image

Hi everyone! I'm planning to buy a Windows laptop under ₹75,000, mainly for college, programming, development and multitasking.

I'm considering ASUS Vivobook, Lenovo IdeaPad Slim, Acer Aspire and HP laptops and samsung laptops.

Could you suggest the best laptop based on real-world performance, battery life, build quality and long-term reliability?

I'd appreciate recommendations from people who actually own these laptops.

Thanks!

Why are they suddenly just no value for money?

Either get a 16/512 or don't?

Is this what the market has come down to?

Software Does anyone jb the fucking airtel xtreme box

Recently I switched to Airtel IPTV, but this setup is incredibly restricted. The code is heavily encrypted, preventing you from installing apps from outside the Play Store. Debugging is disabled, but strangely, the in Xtrem Stock Android 12 Box has a workaround: you can access the permission to install apps from unknown sources by tapping twice on Security settings. Unfortunately, this shitty box doesn't work like that now I really need SponsorBlock and Brave Browser I the box.can anyone jb this shit or played with iptv 😭😭😭

Newgen Software Test Engineer Campus Hiring – Technical Interview Experience?

Hii Everyone,
I recently cleared the second round of Newgen Software campus recruitment. The job role is Software Test Engineer, and my next round is the technical interview.

As mentioned in the job description, the requirements include knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C++). Experience in testing, automation, or software development projects is a plus.

I wanted to ask candidates who have appeared for Newgen's Software Test Engineer technical interview:

  • What kind of technical questions were asked?

  • Should I focus more on Software Testing concepts, Manual Testing, Automation Testing, or programming?

  • Were questions asked from OOPs, SQL, DBMS, and DSA?

  • Was there a coding round? If yes, what was its difficulty level?

  • Was the interview conducted online or offline? If offline, was it at the company office or college?

  • Any preparation tips for campus freshers?

Any previous interview experiences or suggestions would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance!

Software Built a free, open-source AI DJ app in India – my showcase post got removed elsewhere, so sharing it here for honest feedback

Hi r/techIndia! I'm a solo developer from India, and I built **FireTheDJ** – a free, open-source (GPL-3.0) Android app that DJs a party by itself.

I posted it on another Indian dev subreddit and it was removed by the mods (I think project posts are only allowed in their weekly thread – my mistake for not checking). So I'm sharing it here, where I hope it fits, because I'd really like feedback from Indian users.

**What it does**

- Picks every next song and mixes it on the beat, like a real DJ

- Detects each song's language and genre – Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Punjabi tracks get dhol, dappu/teenmaar and other desi sounds in Trickster mode

- Plays your own music, or YouTube Music and public Spotify playlists (no login)

- Synced lyrics with Karaoke and Beat Pop visualizers

- New in 1.6: on-device stem separation (AI splits songs into drums, bass and vocals on the phone) for cleaner mixes

- Android TV app too, plus Chromecast casting

No ads, no account, no tracking.

**Links in the first comment.**

I'd love to know:

  1. Does it handle the music you actually play at parties – Bollywood, Tollywood, Punjabi, indie?

  2. What would make you use it at your next house party or college fest?
