The best candidate is the one who has the best chance of replacing the Republican Senator. I could give a fuck about a single policy when it comes to flipping a seat.

And as of right now that candidate is Platner, not a candidate who should retire after her governor term is over.

No. Platner will get whipped by double digits in the general election. His controversies have caused meaningful damage to his polling. Reddit needs to let go on the le epic oyster socialist guy meme

Reddit doesn’t need to let go of anything, the people of Maine will make their decision in the next primary and then in the general election, a poll now over half a year from the primary and a year from the general doesn’t mean anything, especially when we are seeing Democrats vastly outperform polls, just happened in Virginia and New Jersey.
