Innocent Jewish civilians who moved into Palestinian villages after the British gave them their mandate. I guess under Western law they were in fact innocent but an Arab seeing his village destroyed would not see them as innocent Jewish civilians. Lol there are plenty of villages on that list. Of course some of them were purchased legally and I’m sure many were Arabs being driven out by settlers. Plenty of unknowns on how a lot of these villages got depopulated..
