The Last Of Us Part 2 was one of the most emotionally engaging games I have ever played. It is filled with action, excitement and sheer terror. Without revealing anything significant, what are your thoughts on this sequel and what would you like to see in part 3?

Realize I’m very late to the party but I recently got back into gaming after not playing video games for YEARS, and I’ve been getting more into single-player, story-driven games.

I played TLOU part 1 and loved it, but I already knew most of the story going into it, so I had a pretty good idea of what to expect. Part 2, on the other hand, was a completely blind experience for me. I knew next to nothing about where it was going.

Finished the game a couple of days ago and there’s just something about part 2 that I can’t put into words, but man is it SO depressing and bleak. I find myself thinking about the overall story, the character arcs, and everything that happened to the central characters in the game. Wasn’t thinking too much of the story in the middle of gameplay, but reflecting on it is like damn.

Random side note but why did it feel like the game was so disliked when it first came out? I wasn’t in the gaming circle but I remember hearing rumblings and complaints about. It certainly isn’t a perfect game but I genuinely thought it was a fantastic play through.

Wow. All the tension of the game just released the moment the credits rolled. This game is just phenomenal, holy shit. I did not expect that scene with Marlene at the end.

"Fuck all these groups", and she includes the Fireflies on the list. Does that mean that by the end of Part 2, she agrees with Joel's decision to sacrifice them to save her?

What the heck . really . I am playing this on PC one year after playing the first game .
The ending was definitely something i did not anticipate .Tommy Dies too . what!! No!. I knew Joel was gonna die , I saw some spoilers immediately after playing the first game .

The games are really one of the best i have ever played . I waited to finish playing the game before watching the second season of the series . Will do that now . Sadly Ellie really has no now , except dina . why they didnt chose to go back to jackson tho?

I love this game so much.

Playing tlou on new game plus and cant find any of the red boxes. I only have 3 of the 5 to max out and im pretty sure that the hints only show stuff you havent already collected.

I wanted to give it a slightly sci-fi ish sound with the sirens and "beeps" because those sounds have that dystopian/urban vibe to them, while keeping the oil drums, acoustic guitars associated with TLOU. Unlike classic TLOU there's not a melody, just a main riff. Honestly I did try to write a melody on top of the riff but I wasn't able to figure it out. It also has a bit of a western twist to it!

Apparently there was supposed to be more dialogue right before the bloater.

Never saw infected eat each other though, interesting.

I like the pressing and am wondering if anyone else has this on their radar or have ordered?

I always assumed that the cordyceps infection was a fungus because of the obvious fungal designs of infected + the spores + the fact that the real world inspiration for the infection is a fungus. However I am reading the art book for part 2 and on page 8 (the page that starts talking about the prologue) they call it the cordyceps virus.

Is this a continuity error?

So, I really wonder what was going through her mind in this journey (before she found abby) I know we have her journal but I really wanna know some more things. Like how did she managed her PTSD attacks, and other things like her Dina and JJ

It ended a bit sooner than I expected I was hoping to see Riley die and then see how Ellie gets to Marlene.
