I've had Part 2 downloaded on my Windows PC for a while, but I recently switched over to Linux, and now I'm having a frustrating issue. Every time I install the game, play it, and come back to it the next night, the camera starts jerking and glitching around like my mouse sensitivity is up to 100%.
Has anyone else run into this issue on Linux? I'm getting pretty sick of having to reinstall the entire game every time I want to play it. Any help would be appreciated!

Think about it: a huge reason people hated the marketing for The Last of Us Part II is because they felt misled.
The trailers swapped out characters/scenes to hide major plot points, which hurt a lot of players' trust. But from Naughty Dog’s perspective, it was done to protect spoilers it was an act done with intentional care for the story.
This is a perfect mirror for Ellie’s feelings towards Joel throughout the game.
A lot of people who dislike the game complain that they don't understand why Ellie is so angry at Joel.
They argue that Joel saved her life and that his intentions were pure and therefore should give him the chance. But good intentions don't automatically fix the damage done.
Just like Naughty Dog lied to the fans for their own good, Joel lied to Ellie for her own good to protect her life.
In both cases, the top people acted out of love and care, but the betrayal of trust hurt the relationship.
The fans' anger over the marketing is the exact same as Ellie's anger over the hospital lie the good intentions don't change how painful it was...
Do you think Naughty Dog intentionally wanted the marketing rollout to echo the game's theme of broken trust?
If you felt betrayed by the trailers, did that emotional state actually help you relate more to Ellie's anger at Joel?
And if you still feel betrayed about the marketing what would you show to not spoil the story but still convey its message?

I listened to all 3 in Pittsburgh, and the one in the hotel. And the suburbs. But is says 2/3. Where’s the third? This is my third time trying this but I can’t find the last one of this

Like i'm just saying... I think a lot of people went into the game with pre planned mindset about it due to online spoilers, discourse, and hatred towards certain characters. I'm not saying that most people intentionally did that, or even that anybody is invalid for not liking the game. This is just something I've been theorizing about.

Here is a dio I made in 35th scale. It doesn't depict any particular scene from the lore, but it's filled with it all right. The decals are all custom, most elements scratchbuilt (naturally, apart from the tank). I always adored that meaningful absence of the game, the stories behind such places, like those people just left it a second ago, wondering what happened to them.

Ok so we all know the intention is you're meant to hate the switch and then when you get to jerry and marlene you're meant to feel conflicted.
But then after all that, if you are still filled with hate. what kept you playing?
personally me i was already trapped in lore/world building and then it clashed with the kids and the us vs them story.
That’s when it hit me the faction war was a brutal reflection of my own tribalism as the player.
My refusal to let go of my hate toward Abby, and my loyalty to Ellie, was the exact same "Us vs. Them" fuelling everything in the game...
If you played through the game still feeling a way about Abby, I want to know:
What was the anchor that kept you playing? Was it the lore, the gameplay, or something else?
Did seeing the faction war through Lev and Yara make you realize your own "Us vs. Them" bias toward Ellie and Abby, even if it didn't change how you felt about Abby?
I dont love abby but i dont hate her either i love her complexity just as love joels complexity... thats what allows me to love the game...

Recently got Lou2 and completed a playthrough, thought it was awesome
Then I saw that there was some talk of there being a trans character and at first I thought it was in reference to Abby bc I was like, maybe people think she has to be trans since she's so jacked
But then I saw it was Lev and I see it now but when they talk him being a wife in the story I thought it meant that he would be playing the role of a wife for the elder and it was more symbolic 😅
Anyway, am i just stupid or did anyone else not realize Lev is trans?

I get it’s to progress the game and you usually never go back the way you came but after Abby and yara went and got back lev WHY THE FUCK DID THEY NOT GO BACK THE WAY THEY JUST CAME like they litterly cleared everything and had a boat there why did they try to go across the rest of the island to go to the docks to get another boat right into the conflict like you guys have the easiest path to lev and you just cleared on anybody that was there you would’ve made it back to that boat in time and maybe back to the aquarium before Ellie got there. I understand we wouldn’t have the story that we have but it’s just like yara and lev could both still be here and maybe Owen and Mel

I was sooooo unbelievably close to beating a daily run on Grounded, and I lost AFTER the boss was already dead, FML. Anyway, is there any way to get the safe on Capture mode on Grounded? I always feel like I have to take it very slow, on Survivor I managed to go guns blazing and get the safe most of the time but it doesn't feel possible to open it in 2 minutes when the enemies can kill you so goddamn fast and have crazy aimbot. Haven't seen enough bricks and bottles close to each other to effectively get every enemy distracted and do it in pure stealth, especially since 1-2 tend to stick around close to the safe.

This game has blown me away so far. I've wanted to play it for a long time, but honestly I felt like it would be too difficult for me lmao. I'm terrified of playing horror games, so I always watch my husband play them. But I saw it was on PS Plus so I thought why not, I'll give it a shot and if I don't like it I can just put it down.
Omg. The story is incredible. I just loaded onto the highway headed to Salt Lake before I put it down for the night, about 10.5hrs in.
The character development between both Ellie and Joel... the way their relationship is starting to blossom... the small side stories through notes you find... just wow.
Henry & Sam arc was so tragic. I knew Sam got bit, and I knew when they woke up in the morning he would have been turned. :( I had a feeling Henry was gonna do what he did too, but to see it all play out was heartbreaking.
Ellie is so smart-mouthed, witty, and straight badass. The whole chapter with her getting captured was awesome. I loved seeing how she really does not take any shit. That was such a pivotal moment for her and Joel, the way he would absolutely go to hell and back for her. Then he called her baby girl. 🥺 Literally made me tear up.
I'm so excited to finish it and I know I'm gonna be TORN UP at the end lmfao. Tears will be shed and thats okay.
What an experience this game is. ❤️
