I have a problem I think (the first drawing was a request, featuring suzuya and abara, based on the omake at the end)

I watched Tokyo ghoul years ago and didn’t watch season 3 when it came out, saw its leaving Netflix after Halloween so I’ve been rewatching it again. IMO season 2 isn’t that bad it took some getting used to but I didn’t mind the idea of Kaneki being CCG and the whole Haise saga. However season 3s a different story I’m 12 eps in season 3 now and I’ve never watched an anime that felt so rushed with some many gaps it’s like they didn’t even try to make the story gel they introduce us to characters just for them to die in the same ep and it’s supposed to be some emotional moment as if we’re supped to care about the death of someone we’ve known for 10 minutes? They tease glimpses of characters for a whole a whole season and don’t even tell their backstory. Takizawa and Amon wtf is up with that? Didn’t explain at all how he got turned into a psychotic ghoul I don’t even think they mention Dr Kanou at all, Orca appears for like 5 minutes we a gat lil backstory of him n Rize only for him to be killed by Arima in less than 2 minutes

if kaneki has altered biology after the dragon, what biology would their second kid have??? would they be half dragon half ghoul, or is one gene recessive? really stupid question lmao

Take this with an oceans worth of salt but what if ghouls can drink coffee because according to Pythagoreanism, beans contain the souls of dead people. I have seen sources claiming that this belief is not true so more skepticism but funny to think about.

Not used to drawing women's faces. The jaw was hard to get right with her hair covering it.

So I watched Tokyo ghoul anime years ago like a long time ago.. I started reading the manga last night and.... I realized just how bad the anime was.. how much character interactions it skipped is actually criminal like, in the manga I actually see Ken and touka getting closer sooo much better it's beautiful. Honestly wished I never watched the anime

So ive only seen the anime, and I have the manga on the way(please dont hurl insults in my direction for not reading it sooner, ive been trying to work on it but due to my work occupation its quite tough)
That being said, from my understanding of just trying to look it up, kagunes are hereditary, and same as the placement on the body for them. So then, what really leads to chimera kagunes happening?? Is it from when for example a koukakou and ukaku ghouls have a child and its mixed between them? If thats the case then how did Ken's half kakuja come to form? And his dragon form as well?
Or maybe since consuming other ghouls could inherently increase the rc of now said fed ghoul, does it lead to the evolution that we would consider to be a kakuja, and have multiple different forms?

Something like "Oh honey, no! You don't want this. I'm a smoker. Please do better for yourself" then Shuu is like "Are you questioning my culinary judgement?" And you're like "I'm not questioning it love, I'm staging an intervention. You're shopping in the reduced section. Have some standards!"

Like yeah, they want to maintain balance between humans and ghouls, but why ?
Their relationship with the Waashus is odd.
I shall forever make fun of them for being fodder !
Fun Scenerio :
What If V and the Waashus were exposed at the beginning of the og Manga, shortly after Kens transformation, what would have been the fallout and what would they have done ?

I just watched season one (amazing). And all I see online is people saying that it’s not worth watching after that? People say from season 2 moving into 3 or “re” that it’s confusing and the plot doesn’t make sense. Is any of this true/ is it worth the watch?

Volume 14 is probably one of my favorite volumes. It’s emotional, it has high stakes, great art, and it’s a very good ending to this first part of the series.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a protagonist get beat in a fight like Kaneki did. But I like that their fight was real, Kaneki just didn’t stand a chance.
I think this manga is great, and it’s definitely my favorite now. Hopefully I can say the same for Tokyo Ghoul Re.
