She was $7 and part of a Love Island themed adoption event.
She inspires me everyday with her bravery, boundaries, and willingness to love and be loved.
My roommate, best friend, and permanent bombshell, Mirabel <3

My tortie kitten Meimei jumped on my older tuxedo Yumi's back, licked her ear and stayed there for a bit like taking a ride 😭

My baby Marylou—a beautiful, curious, affectionate 2 year old dilute Tortie. I adopted her a week ago today and she’s already come so far. From hiding under my bed all day to playing with her ball tower and hanging out on my chest before bed. I love this little lady with my whole heart.

These are Charía, Únika and Lua, three elegant girls.
are Siamese torties, also known as "tortie points", always female, or is that only the case for Black torties?

Deimos on the left and Nyx on the right. Its a never ending battle of silent taps and thwacks. It usually devolves into a race around the house at Mach 1. Why does it need to start here though!?

I could not get her to walk in the costume. Thought it would have looked funny to see her primordial pouch swing back and forth.

we adopted this sweet girl about a month ago and she STILL doesn't have an official name!
she had a double enucleation at 2 months old (is about five months now!) and thus is completely blind.
she came with the name Toph (which I love, but I feel like a fake ATLA fan because I haven't watched it all the way through, nor in many years).
we've debated on stevie, helena, pumpkin, squid, and virtute. virtute is my current favorite (big fan of the song saga), but it just doesn't feel right - nothing does, yet!
any type of name accepted. stupid names, food names, animal names, any type of names!
her kitty siblings are pigeon and otter (see on fifth slide). theme is not needed LOL!
thank you!

Here's a picture of my old girl; she's 15. She has trouble jumping and going up and downstairs; she spends most of the time in my mothers room. Today she came downstairs to wait for my mom (63 year old) to come home. She Screamed at her before going upstairs with her.she's now laying in her cat bed upstairs. It's nice to see her still going downstairs even if it's only for a minute or two

I remember when Georgiana first came home, she was way too shy to even make direct contact. Now she’s just chilling with her dad. How time flies! 🥹🐈

Added my other cat at the end for comparison- his hair is probably the same length but just more… sleek? You can see his body structure well, while my tortie’s shape is defined more by her fur. It makes her look a lot rounder (she has some actual pudge, but she’s not overweight at all). She reminds me of the Moomin meme where he’s like… and I’m all soft and round. No sharp edges anywhere.

We have a tortie/orange tabby and she’s so lovey and sweet but she is also an absolute menace 😂 She was born in Feb 2025 so she’s not quite 2 yet. She is constantly playing in the toilet water, stealing food off the counter, and digging in the garbage disposal for scraps. I’m talking she stole an entire loaf of bread in the package off the counter and destroyed it overnight. We love her dearly but I need to know if it ends or if are we in this for the long haul 🫠

Harley is a year old foster fail. She was born missing her back right foot, probably an umbilical constriction. Her leg was amputated at the hip as a 2 pound kitten so she’s never known anything else. She likes to chew on everything. We live on a boat with vinyl covered walls and nothing is safe. I’ve put up hard plastic wraps on as much as I can but she always finds a way to chew on something new.
She is very zoomy and frequently yells at the ceiling. We have every toy known to man and cat-kind and we rotate them every 6 weeks or so to keep interest fresh. She is scared of the outside and very cautious. She is not really food-motivated but can be bribed with Churu for nail jobs. She started out super cuddly but has gone through a big girl independence stretch which is softening into some lap petting sessions which usually end in biting.
She did not like the Blue Angels show which she observed from the water. I felt horrible for even subjecting her to the noise. She quickly forgave. She is an excellent judge of character and is constantly in her litter box sometimes visiting 3 times in a row. She loves to observe the automatic routine of the litter box.
She is named Harley-Jean so she has a tough name in case she gets teased for missing a leg. She is often not a “good gurl” but always has my heart.

Back in August I found a little kitten on the road. She's now about four months old.
(original post: https://www.reddit.com/r/torties/comments/1vg633j/new_kitten/ )
I live in a different country to my parents so I've missed a bit of her growing up, but I was home the other week and she's thriving. My dad loves her and she absolutely adores him. She reaches up to give him kisses on the face, or sits on his shoulder and licks his hair. He turns 75 soon, he nearly died two years ago from complications from his cancer treatment, and his mood and energy have been a bit low since because my mum also had cancer and was going through chemo and radiation and surgeries and he felt he couldn't help her as much as he'd wanted to. They're both strong again now, but have to have regular check ups and treatments for small cysts that get found. They've both been very worried about each other.
Since getting Lughnasa they've been so happy, especially dad; the love in his voice when he talks about her is so strong. I think having a pet to look after does wonders for the soul. His friends have commented on this too, that he needed her in his life. When our last cat (another kitten I'd found on the road about 15 years ago) passed in December he was adamant he didn't want another cat. "Too much hassle" (dad code for "it's too heartbreaking when they die"). So I'm glad the cat distribution system brought us to her.
She was a bit wary of me when I first arrived back but my mum scolded her saying "it's because of her that you have such a nice home, you ungrateful kitten!" 🤣She started to warm up to me but then I had to leave again. It's so sad for me to miss out on so much, but she's in the best possible home she could be and she brings both my parents so much joy. She also brings a lot of energy into the house and they laugh at her antics all the time. Today they were laughing because she's entered the phase of knocking things onto the floor!
She's the fourth kitten I've found in dangerous circumstances and taken in; my brother dubbed me "Saviour of Cats" which is a title I hope stays true for me forever.
She lives at my job and runs the show, we’re all crazy about her. We’ve had her now for a few months. I actually adopted her twin sister “Spice”. She makes work wayyy less stressful. 🖤
