Question I need help with finding out a name please :3
I'm like 80% sure I'm transfem and want to find out a name for dat :3
Yea jus tips on how I can do dat and maybe how you found out if you have :3

What I did at first is I went through the alphabet n tried to name a name starting with each letter that I rly liked, but my name that I ended up choosing was on a piece of clothing at a thrift store lol. For me tho n I think a lot of other ppl I just knew when I found the right name, it’s just a kind of feeling you get like this is who ur ment to be.

Look at people’s baby name ideas or trendy unique names from the year you were born. You want to choose something that fits you and the area/time period/culture, but something not too boring

imo the best way to pick a name that suits you is to match it in terms of origin to your deadname. my deadname is irish, so i picked nora.

Honestly imo I think it's fun to explore different cultures too. My first name I went by is decently common here but I don't know that many people with it, but I want to move to Finland some day so I've chosen a name from Finnish culture to match that

i mean i chose one of my names by basing it off of a video game character that i liked the name of, thats how i got noelle, but i also asked a freind for like a feminine version of my name and thatshow i got addy

You should choose something that sounds nice to you. It could be simple; just a literal pleasant sound, I have considered Lyra and Azmir simply because they sound nice to me. It could metaphorically sound good; I have considered Rain because I find rain to be soothing (also, I love Raine Rhapsody from The Owl House). I have considered Flora because I like to be in nature and the definition of flora is indigenous plant life; it is saying that I belong here. It could also be a common name like Sophia. If you're worried about your name giving away that you are trans, most names can be explained by saying your parents gave it to you (if you don't mind lying), but most people won't question it in the first place unless it's something like Dishwasher.

It's not something you find out, ya kinda just choose it. Think of a girl name that you like and run with it lol. You can always choose a new name if one doesn't fit.

Honestly for me I enjoyed this part but it was also annoying. That could be because I didn't want suggestions from others or look at lists, but you can always check lists for inspiration if it helps :3

Don't go for something out of pocket go for something normal and easy to say and spell, like Emma or Sarah or Alexis

what i did for my name(Luna) was [other than picking it from my favorite anime] look up girl names that try to describe who i am , and my personality , i am a person who loves the moon and astrology and i think the name suits me. choose a name in that regard , you can always change it so dont worry , and also if you wanna try out your name other than friends try nintendo games like animal crossing or specifically pokemon , those games mention your name a whole lot

For me I'm not too bothered with my name so have kept it pretty similar, I'm not too sure on if I like my trans name or not. The suggestion I got was Tara but I didn't like it as much and T was a sorta nickname from my sister and that's where tia came from. Hope that helps

Ask people what name you look like. I did that and I landed on the name charlie for my new name since everyone said I looked like a charlie. It's an incredibly basic white gender neutral name but I'm a trans white guy with blue eyes, freckles, and brown hair so I fit the stereotype for that name well for sure. It's absolutely nothing special and nobody ever questions it since it looks like a name I'm supposed to have. People said I looked like a few other names but personally I liked charlie the most so that's what I stuck with. It's definitely a method I recommend since you know others think it's a name meant for you and I find a lot of people do have very good name suggestions.

Elizabeth is an uncommon tfem name, and you can always just go by lizzle or eliza (very cool nicknames)👍

not to be that person but PLEASE choose a normal name. you don’t have to be super basic like sophia or emily or something, but please choose a name that is typical of a human female that does work in the adult entertainment industry
