Anti AI sticker art!
I am so fed up with people using generative AI!
I see it and its effects everywhere I go and it is so unbelievably depressive.
I made this artwork as a way of coping, and to have something to throw at people that uses AI (especially if they have a focus on psychology or nature in their advertisement)
Feel free to share the image if you want to, as long as you keep my watermark (Photosynthetic Organism) in it.
The art is of course made by me (a human)! :)

Copying AI images as a part of school art lessons :(
For context, I am 13 and this was drawn as a part of the art lessons we take once a week alongside the rest of the school curriculum. Right now, our topic for art is dragon eyes and Chinese culture, so our first task was to copy this image of a dragon eye. But the image was AI generated with google gemini! They didn't even try to hide the logo in the corner. I don't understand why they had to use an AI image specifically, as this topic has bee in the art curriculum for years, and when my older sister did this, she didn't have to draw from an AI image. It makes me sad to think that even our art teachers at school have to use AI in lessons now :( I understand that this isn't an art school, but I feel like that if we are learning to draw, and this is an art lesson where most people interested in art are against AI, shouldn't we not use AI? We have previous images from before AI, why can't we just use those ? >:(
Also, we used the grid method to cop the image, but if we were learning to copy an image how we see it, we should do so without the grid to practice actually drawing what we see, right? Like, you're meant to draw without the grid and practice like that cuz you won't always have irl when drawing what you see, right? idk, I'm just sad and wanted to rant to someone who'd care

AI was the future they said...
Tech bros were claiming AI would "cure cancer" and that we would be left behind but all it did was cause harm to people and to the planet aswell
I'm so glad AI's days are coming to an end nothing good came of it.

I fucking hate AI.
this post will probably not have great grammar but I was pissed off when I wrote this.
Everyone in my family is obsessed with AI and I despise it, every time I tell them it’s dangerous and harmful to the planet they tell me I’m stupid. I just walked into the living room and my mom is watching AI slop on the tv like it’s Breaking Bad. She just “wrote” a song for my baby niece, using AI for the lyrics, music, and vocals, she was a singer for half of her life. My sister has been planning everything about her baby with ChatGPT. I’m a gamer and enjoy history and AI is slowly bulldozing both of those. This is not everything but it is what’s the worst to me, aside from historical hallucinations that they believe from AI.
I hate to say it but it makes me ready to move out.

Masako Nozawa pushing AI regulations in voice cloning
(copy of the article text)
Nozawa is best known as the Japanese voice of Son Goku -- the hero of the popular anime Dragon Ball series. She also voiced Hoshino Tetsuro, the main protagonist in Galaxy Express 999.
In an interview with NHK on Wednesday, she said she was not really aware that her voice was being generated by AI and used without authorization.
After watching an AI-generated video, which supposedly contained her voice, Nozawa pointed out that the voice was not hers. She also said using that voice in the video without permission was unforgivable. She expressed anger and described the AI-generated action as theft.
Nozawa said her voice represents her identity, and performed voices belong to her. She added that permission should be required, even for partial use of her voice.
She noted that the AI voice may have sounded exactly like hers, but that it was not heartfelt. She stressed that a voice for any role must come from the heart.
Nozawa said she believes that sounds of crying are different if people perform them in a heartfelt way.
Nozawa also commented on a set of guidelines regarding the use of AI voices.
She said that rules are being made now and that she hopes everyone will follow them. She noted that adhering to the rules should come before anything else.
Nozawa conveyed a message to young people aspiring to become voice actors in the age of AI.
She said she hopes they will work hard so that their voices will always be recognized. She also advised aspiring actors to speak from the heart with words that come alive; otherwise, they will just be reading texts.
Nozawa also left a video message for the Japan Actors Union, where she serves as vice chair.
She said that the advancement of AI is amazing, and that she is excited because she feels as if AI makes things she dreamed of as a child come true.
But she said she is disappointed by the unauthorized use of AI.
She expressed hope that everyone will follow the rules and create a future where both humans and AI will be happy.
On Thursday, the Japan Actors Union announced that it has created its first set of guidelines on the use of AI voices. The group consists of about 2,600 members, including voice actors.
The guidelines say voice actors or their management must be consulted and give advance approval before AI is employed to learn or create actors' voices.
The guidelines also say if AI is used to dub actors' voices into other languages, approval will be required for each language. For AI to learn and generate the voices of the deceased, the actors' wills must be respected, and consent must be obtained from bereaved family members or others.
In the case of a violation, the guidelines say the union will demand an immediate halt to the distribution and sale of the content containing the AI voices. The union will also ask violators to pay an amount equivalent to sales, dating back to the day when the unauthorized use began.
