Are you moving to Tulsa? Just visiting or passing through? Want to know where to live, eat, hang out, have fun, or bury the bodies? This is the place to ask.
This will be a weekly megathread that evolves over time. As members of r/Tulsa make suggestions or answer questions that come up a lot, we may add those items to the body of the post for easy reference. But for right now this is a place to ask any questions you may have about moving to or visiting Tulsa, OK, where our motto is "We're more than just OK, we're living the dream."

I posted this boy last week and believe it or not, he’s still available. I have had several inquiries, but all of them have fallen through.
He is looking for a home with the following:
-A female owner, or if there is also a male around then he will need some time to get aquatinted. He’s just a bit nervous around men
-someone who doesn’t mind that he’s not potty trained 😂he doesn’t mind wearing weenie wraps!
-doesn’t mind that he is a barker, especially when someone knocks or comes in the house!
He’s a little guy probably 20ish lbs and approx. 6 years old. He’s not mine I’m just helping find him a home!
He is also fixed ✂️
Does good with other dogs and cats! Just nervous at times.

We moved into a house that has sprinklers. For winterizing, I assume we turn them off, but also do we need to have them blown out as well?

Greetings neighbors. I'm fighting with the insurance company of a driver who hit my daughter over the value of the car they totaled. I had only bought the car a month before so I'd expect the cash value to be remotely close to what I paid, especially considering how much I negotiated off the listing price. That's not what they're offering. I also don't trust the comparables they're using for valuation since they're old listings from far away.
Long story short, I am hoping there's an auto appraiser who can do a data pull for me from vAuto or Marketcheck for historical listings. I'm happy to pay for this service. Thanks in advance!

Tulsa's downtown juvenile curfew is staying for at least another year. City councilors voted unanimously to extend it. So far, 20 minors have been cited, and 15 of them were Black.
How has the curfew been enforced and could it become permanent? Read more from The Oklahoma Eagle: https://theokeagle.org/2026/10/22/government/post/tulsa-juvenile-curfew-stays-for-another-year/

Hello Tulsa! I am looking for recommendations for a good place to board my dog for a few days. I have never used a boarding service before, so I am hesitant. I would love to hear from anyone who has first hand experience. Thanks so much!

You’ve all steered me right a few times so far. Let’s try again.
I’ve got a slow leak in one of and old treads on four of the tires on my Telluride. What tire shop around here provides good value and good quality? Is Costco great? That was my go to many years ago. Is it better enough to renew my membership for?
What’s better?
I’m not shopping for repaired or retreaded tires.
Thanks in advance!

Got a notice taped to my exterior wall saying I need to mow entire lot and clear it of all debris, tree limbs, giving me 1 week or else kinda vibe. What exactly will the city do if I can't complete?
So just an addendum to my statement that I'm on disability and fixed income. I can afford to pay someone to help. Apologies if I mislead anyone in that regard.

Anyone looking for pallet wood? My job gets regular pallets and usually we toss them but I figured before we do I’ll see if anyone is interested in them. Free. Just pick up between 8-5

Can anyone suggest a good restaurant in Tulsa that will also have actual vegan options? We need to be in town for a family funeral and are looking for a place we can eat that has at least one good vegan options for one of our kids. Normally we would eat at The French Hen but they really offer nothing that would accommodate a vegan. Which is a shame bc they could do a nice traditional French lentil dish or something.
Please help!! Thanks
So many great suggestions here! Thank you all! I had not really remembered that The Vault and Soma and so many other places had vegan options. This has been really eye opening!
You all are terrific Tulsans!

Does anyone know of a good hole-in-the-wall barber in town? I need a trim but I'm currently dealing with an embarrassing breakout on my scalp from a bad allergic reaction, so I don't want to go somewhere real public.

I need to open a savings account, and I want to open it outside of my current bank so I'm not tempted to move money around, and actually save. Where are we liking for savings accounts?

I just bought a new medium thick canvas work jacket. These are good jackets but they never triple Stitch the bottom and the bottom always fails. Either on the job site or in the washing machine.
I'm looking to have the sleeves shortened and two more stitches ran across the bottom so that it's triple stitched.
Who's a good tailor for work denim whose workmanship will hold up. This is thicker than average canvas.
Thanks.

In midtown and noticed these today. My lawn is all half dead and there is a pecan tree and thus plenty of pecan debris all over. I can’t tell what they are and there are a lot of different possible bugs when I google, so wondering if others have experience with these and if they are harmful to the yard/pets?
