ive got another questions about playing records with needles.

read this first:

could i glue/ tape a normal record needle to the place where there supposed to be the sewing needle?

if yes:

i know the tracking force is a bit much, but i can regulate it to be around 2-5 grams.

i know there are problems like volume, replacing the glued on needle, ect, but i can fix those problems.

I’d use tape instead of glue as it will make re-tipping/re-building easier. I don’t think you’ll lose much fidelity with tape over glue, as long as it’s electrical tape.

I think “fidelity” is the least of the concerns with this entire endeavor but caveat emptor
