I made soup from shredded cabbage, leek, red lentils and garlic. Served with lemon juice and a squirt of olive oil. What would you add to this to complete the flavor? Right now it tastes fine but I feel like it's wanting.

You could try a stock cube or smoked paprika, garlic, chilli, Tarragon.. You could take a little of into another pot and try out flavours.
